OMG, Shinon, yes, um... it happens to all pawns, sure :D

Dat siren's face. Truly, she has seen the glory of heaven. In Barnaby's (?) crotch.

Tonight I dubbed myself Shepenwepet the Second. It took me about 30 minutes to get past a bunch of wraiths. Just so many good shots. Or shots that looked good until I opened them in FB. Le sigh.

It's a slippery slope. Soon you'll forget that there are other options in the pause menu besides "Share". Then you'll forget that combat is a thing that happens. THEN you'll by chance snap a photo of someone...oh, holding a dagger like a microphone. Be careful, CuriousMoto!

90_zpsb4bc4090.jpg

Okay, for starters, I must ask, how are you getting your pictures all that size? Do you resize them or do they come like that? Mine are usually huge and I don't want them to be, and I'm too lazy to resize them. One of the ones I uploaded tonight is small, but only one. The rest are big'uns.

You know what bothers me with most armor in this game? The open armpit. I just wish that bracers and armor would meet and not have this ridiculous gap under the arm.

Also had a certain blue-haired warrior in my party who was hell, HELL I tell you, to snap a photo of. Maybe because he spent most of his time hiding behind corners.

He's pretty burned out on posing for photos. He's also probably trying to stay alive.

I got a few pics...

@Happy - glad to see you back on the thread  :) .  I love a bit of DA fan fiction.  I follow too many stories on there to the extent alerts are clogging up my googlemail account!

We may have to compare notes.  ;) Although I must say, I've been driving myself crazy, reading unfinished fics. Then checking every day, like a mad woman, to see if any of them have been added to. If so, I hungrily read the new chapter, then sulk. Rinse and repeat. My hubs just shakes his head at me.

EDIT: Oh yeah, WB Happy!! :D

Thanks!

Good to see you, Happy! Feel free to drop in any time with shots of ol' Team Sexy. Wow, Shinon needed some sun in those pics. And he was using Sapfire Daggers... aww.. young indeed. :)

Thanks, and I will! I'm sure I can scrounge up something fun. I love it that you're all still taking screenies and sharing.

And of course, I knew Shep would wear off on every single one of you. Hehe.  ;)

When did Chase get brown hair?

Here are a couple of old ones from the vault.

@Shepen - Laser crotch! yes!.....Or in Shinon's case, more of a laser "stream"(??) BTW, did you have Castor using Fulmination for that shot? Castor uses that spell all. the. time. Though, I don't hate the spell, and it can make for some interesting shots.

@Curious - Thomas looks shtunning! ;)

@happy - Yay...more oldies, but goodies.

So here is the thing with Chase's hair; Castor. Those two fight like pigtailed, six year old girls. First it turned Chase's hair brown (and his eyes grey), and now it has gone full grey. HOWEVER! I chalk this up to growing pains. Castor will be much better behaved, after Grigori, and Chase's golden mane will return. *Angelic choir rises in the backgroung*

Now if I could just get people to stop telling me to work. Busy week last week, busy week this week. <_< :P

Who is Castor?   I have let myself fall so far outside of the loop that I'm floating somewhere in space. Waa.

Well, I, for one, look forward to Chase's triumphant return.

Ahhh...Castor is my new "Alt" pawn. I made a new Xbox account (gamertag: coldwetn0se), and made a new play through. Shepen did the same thing (Wizardy5), and has a new pawn named Zihark.

LOL! on those snapshots! And no worries...the blonde Chase WILL return. ;) (ya know, truth be told, whenever I mess with Ulee in the CC, I feel almost obligated to do "something" to Chase. Poor elf. heh!)

Not hating the eye color on him. I just don't think it will look right though, when he goes blonde again.

As for the love triangle; that boy STILL pines for Gabs (and maybe a bit for Shin). However, I have no doubt he would be more than willing to let Selene "Master" him a bit. ;)

Wut? what happened.

It really is  A slippery slope that is. I never thought I'd be doing this. But Lyncean Sight is just so... HNNNG. Everyone looks so gorgeous.

I don't do anything special! On FB, I right click and save the photo. Then upload it to Photobucket.

Most of the time I don't like the open armpit but the shadow there makes Thomas' arm look a lil hairy, which I like

Just so he knows, Arya and Seel would both have him, too :P "At the same time!" says Seel. "No," says Arya. "Fiiiine," says Seel.

Oh god, Rohan as sorcerer is an out-and-out disaster. He trips all over his robes and burns his fingers. Plus he has this sour look on his face the whole time for having to wear "girly armor."

ORRRR It's just really hard to play sorcerer with a character who's been an assassin for 100+ levels

I have a looong list of stories I favourite/follow.  There was a bit of a drought period where nothing was posted.  And then everyone posted at the same time! There have been some great ones that I have read that have kept me up till the early hours of the morning.  I tend to go for ones relating to Cullen, Nathaniel and Zevran

I had no idea what Lyncean Sight was until I realised my Arisen has barely used the Assassin vocation.  This must be rectified at once!

I have a question, based on a couple of things people have said that I've read. :)

Does it make a difference what your vocation is when you level up? Does it change your stats if you're a mage vs a Magick Archer type of thing? (And for your Pawns, too, obviously.)

I honestly don't like following that, it makes me feel like I have to stick to a certain class. But dat assassin attack bonus.

Exactly as Shep said. If you want to be more effective, you and your pawn should both spend some time in each vocation. At least, in my humble opinion. Plus, if you max each one out, you can use the top tier skills while playing whatever you want.

I'd check out that link, and decide what you think you need to brush up on, and go for it. I found it helpful to compare my stats to support pawns that I thought were particularly effective, and go from there.

If you're still playing as MA, it might behoove you to max out Mage and Sorcerer, if you haven't already.

If you're going to be playing mostly as MA, I would suggest leveling up as a sorcerer for 20-30 levels. When you switch back to MA you'll be unstoppable.

If you're gonna be less of a magic-oriented player and more physical, go with assassin.

Well... I think that means that my character and pawn are pretty locked into their roles, now! xD

If I'd realized, I'd have played around more, but as it stands, it probably worked out okay. I'll check that list and use it for future decisions.

Both myself and my Pawn completed every Vocation, and maxed our ranks in each one. I don't know to what extent we levelled up at the time, but this would have been over the course of the fist 80 levels, or so.

Since around level 80, I got fed up with trying to find a decent healer/mage (remember that Dark Arisen wouldn't exist for months at this point) so Ariana has been a Mage ever since.

With the exception of a few brief missions as Strider at the beginning of every playthrough, my MC has been a Magick Archer since then, too.

So, I might be able to play around with stats a bit from here on out...

What's maximum level, anyway? I had sort of guessed that it was 200, but I don't think I've ever seen a pawn above 170.

@Jeremiah - Yep, level 200 is the top. Chase, Shinon, Brianna, Gabrielle, Woolie (am I missing anybody?), are all level 200 (infinity) pawns from players in this thread. Curious has two pawns that are edging ever closer to max (especially Arya, who if I recall, is close to 190??), and there are a handful of others that have pawns ranging from 20's to around 150.

It's funny, I often have made more "glass canon" types, in other combat heavy games, but I love going balanced in this game. I think it is because I enjoy multiple vocations, and it's fun to switch things up with my pawns. My very first pawn on the PS3 (which was the system I originally played on), I built much like your Ariana. She is around level 150 or so, and I am trying to beef her up a bit with Ranger/warrior/fighter. (to increase the Strength/Attack, and Defense) But, she will always be more magick and magick defense heavy, since the big stat increases occur before level 100. That doesn't mean they can't be affective though. ;) High level magick combined with the Sanguine Stalk for a Sorcerer pawn can be devastating. Oh yeah! :D

Yeah 200 is max. EDIT:  'd :P

You should really play as sorcerer for several levels if you're going to remain MA.

And if you're going to be magick-based, you should probably switch your pawn to strider/ranger/or even warrior. But that's just personal preference :)

But seriously, to be an effective MA, level up as sorcerer for a bit.

Who's adorable? That's right, you are!  :kissing:  :D

I preferred using group effect potions that benefited everyone in the party, vs. periapts, but they do weigh more. (Salomet's Secret, Tagilus's Miracle, etc.) My thinking is that if everyone's defense and attack is up, the quicker the fight goes. Everyone kicks arse equally.

Although I'd caution holding onto that stuff until you fight Daimon. If you give any of those to your pawns, they'll suck them down in the very first fight.

Yeah at one point I thought I could use my pawn as a pack mule to carry all my spare bottles of oil for my lamp. Lamp runs out of oil, go to get another bottle... turns out the little sh!t has been hurling them at enemies and so TOSSED AWAY MY ENTIRE OIL HORDE.
