Yo. How's it going? Been playing some of the Vanilla Dragon's Dogma on my normal Arisen, just get back into the controls. Anyways, I'm in a mood for comparing two games in the most crudest way possible!

All joking aside, Dragon's Dogma is still my favorite game. Dark Souls 2 has many things, but it doesn't have silk lingerie. I can't believe I typed that sentance.

Taking a run with Ulee/Chase, and switched Chase to some blue hair (and Ulee as well ), since all the cool kids are doing it. But, I decided the Roman God of War look, didn't quite fit, so changed him to a slightly "purple + silver" motif....still a Fighter, but new outfit is more fitting with the hair. And as you know, THAT is important.

Anywhooo. Go into the Garden of Ignominy and Death is there. I have Ulee, Chase, Seel, and Shinon. All with blue hair, but Shinon. Hmmm.....All made it through their encounter with death. Except Shinon. Coincidence? I think not.




@Apophis - not sure how good I am at rating pixelated bums, but I guess I would choose Lunaria.

Just went into the Rift to pick up Shin again, and he now is sporting the "Anti-Death" look. All blue, all the time.

Not sure what happened here. Went into the Pilgrims Gauntlet with Chase, Briana, and Gabs. Ulee was the only one that made it out.

Death got Chase AND Gabs within one shot (and only 15 seconds into the fight...room had two Golems and a handful of Sirens as well). Bri was following all the commands like a champ. BUT, then I got Ulee hung-up on one of the debris piles, just as Death "warped" to that spot. Finally managed to get free of the debris, but it wasn't quick enough for Briana. And "poof", Death got her too.

I swear, that has never happened. Sorry ladies (oh...and Chase). Was enjoying the short stint with you. Will rent again soon, but about to call it a night with Ulee/Chase.

Picked them up again, and will take them for another spin tomorrow. I miss playing with da ladies.

My quest log said I should be gathering evidence for Fournival's trial. It also suggested I kill over half the wildlife of Gransys. I'm also supposed to be rooting out "the night's champion". So what did I do? Went on a walk to the Greatwall with Castor and a random pawn that I already forget the name of. I am awful. (I switched her out with Talia on the way anyway)

 

Zi and Castor make small talk on the way.

Castor: I don't know. Around? Why? 

Zi: I'm not stealing your look, so that's not why. I'm young, dude. I'm naturally curious about the world. WHAT A LARGE TREE! *runs off*

 

 

We stopped at a goblin camp so Zi could try out a skill that was inspired by his time with Seel.

While Seel can conjure the ice fully sculpted, Zi has to work at it a bit.

 

I don't quite know how Castor was able to continue on walking after... whatever happened here.

I looked at this picture for several minutes and I just don't understand what his left leg is doing. (Or is that his right leg? IS IT EVEN A LEG? WHAT IS IT?)

 

We met up with some snow harpies and Castor got a scalp massage.

Then he got out his Zihark action figure, which he swears is a real thing and not some cheap bronze idol repainted by Mountebank to look like Zi. Yeah, it's not that.

We eventually reached the Greatwall and I plunked down a portcrystal. I'm afraid I don't have much of an ending to this tale, so I leave you with this.

Tiger Beat.....mmmmm. Barely legal ( ) teen heartthrobs from the 70's and 80's (okay, my era. Apparently the magazine still exists ).

My favorite cover was a duel for most adorable: Shawn Cassidy or Jimmy McNichol (for those slightly younger than I, Kristy McNichol's brother). I couldn't choose! *sob*

BUT! I couldn't NOT post...I did something kinda mean to Castor. He should be uploaded to the rift, so anyone who has him in their party, you can always dump him and rehire. When you next get on to play, that is.

Continuing to spam the DD thread.

Took Ari/Castor with Bri and Chase all the way through to the Sparyard of Scant Mercy. Collected a ton of lvl.2 Cursed Weapons/Armor. Only thing new I got? Immortal Coat.

Castor is still set to something "silly". Will leave him as is for a bit, though I will probably "dress-up" with him shortly.
