Castor is still set to something "silly". Will leave him as is for a bit, though I will probably "dress-up" with him shortly.

 

I was on about an hour ago, he was normal in the rift. But he is now my weatherman.

"Today's forecast is... well I can't see anything, so... foggy? We'll go with that. Yep, Gransys is gonna be dreary and foggy and grey. So sayeth me."

 

I may have uploaded a Guardian Zihark to the server yesterday, I switched it intentionally to test idle animations, which I immediately forgot to test. I also want to get him out of fighter because shields and photos do not mix.

 

edit: he also got front paged on the pawn community as a "dashing gentleman." Shinon is pissed off right now.

lol! I find Zihark's "shield antics" funny. As for Castor, you need to send that boy back to the Rift, and rehire. It is a stupid little thing, but it is STILL sending me into a fit of giggles!

I have a couple CC and wardrobe changes planned for Castor, based on 'reasons'. However, they are just for picture taking, so they may not end up in the Rift. Unless I get careless/lazy. heh!

Just reread your post. Trust me. Re-rent him. It won't be noticeable IN the Rift.

I'm going to need Handyman Chase for a photo or two tonight, can't handy him up myself because my arisen and pawn slots are already going to be filled.

 

It would be so much easier if I could just get Zi into post-game.... urgh.

I had to ditch something for the next installment that I was rather attached to, just because the pictures were so adorable (it was Woolie looking rather frazzled and standing over an unconscious Alynna... and I can't seem to find these pics, so maybe it's for the best.)

Here's an oddity.

 

I need my current arisen to grab and restrain a pawn. I know how to do it, but it isn't working, he just picks him up. Is it dependent on your class or your weight? Weight I can fix... class... I suppose I could fix too. I know you don't have to be a fighter to do those holds, because Alynna could as an assassin (or a ranger, I forget what she was). Both my current characters are sorcerers, and holding doesn't work. I don't think it's a weight/height issue, because both characters are pretty much the same.

 

I'm going to switch to fighter just to see.

 

Edit: Yep. Sorcerers can't grapple with anyone. I suppose that's reasonable. But this sorcerer... he should be allowed to.

@Shepen - I love this Valmiro. Very nice.

I did my little side project, but Chase was being ridiculously stubborn to take pictures of. I switched him to Sorcerer, because I made my DD versions of two (potential) DA:I companions, for their threads - Solas (Chase), and DHMG (Castor). Castor has been doing great! He has given me some seriously awesome shots, but Chase.....back. Oh, another shot of his back. Disappeared. Pixelated. Face obstructed. Finally got a handful of shots, but it seriously took me like an hour. *stupid bimbo elf/grumble*

As an aside, have a couple of random shots I got. Just posting them for fun...feel free to add thoughts/dialogue, or merely enjoy viewing.

So someone named "booty mama" has rented Seel twice, AND used him for 100K+ rift crystals. He has a fan!

@Coldwetn0se - I do like your Solas/Chase pawn. I much prefer him to the DD Solas if I'm honest. I now want to create some DD character pawns, but I have to go and visit family (no Xbox or broadband - just my phone :-(

Ooh, love the avi change, coldi. I haven't the heart to bump my Siegmeyer off just yet, because I just loves him so much.

 

Oh, have you had any more problems gifting stuff to Castor via Ulee/Chase? Because Shinon and friends CANNOT get anything through to Zihark. It takes ages to even register he was hired, and then he ends up with a rock. I don't swap saves, so the rock issue shouldn't happen. The only thing I can see is that with Zi's account, the save is stored on a usb drive. I sometimes accidentally start up the game by selecting the HD, but realize my mistake almost instantly and back out of the main menu and start again. But there's no save on the hard drive, and if the swapping saves thing was an issue, Zi would get rocks from everyone, and he doesn't. Just my Shepenwepet account, which also gets gifts normally from everyone.

 

In other news, Zihark met Briana for the first time (in his world).

@Shepen - Hrmm. I have never had the problem with Ulee/Chase gifting Castor. (or Ari/Castor gifting Chase those lovely scrags of beast ). Sometimes it takes up to 24hrs (possibly more), to have the server update, but still have gotten everything, and definitely no rocks.

Now, I do keep my saves for both, on the HD (though I did manage to make a backup copy of my Castor save...then my thumb drive when kaput! ). It's possible that using the USB save might have something to do with it (again, only basing this on the fact I have never had that happen, and I don't run from a USB save. Hardly empirical evidence. )

Yeah, Rohan's been running into walls ever since he picked up the newly coiffed Briana at the Rift (Couldn't resist grabbing her as soon as I saw the outfit change )

I'm testing idle animations for different inclinations at the encampment, so far I've seen a few I've never seen my pawns do before, so I think I'm onto something. I switched Zi to Utilitarian/Nexus and got this.

 

Switching to Nexus/Pioneer resulted in a weird crouching scan of his surroundings, not the standard look back and forth that every single one of our pawns do all the time.

 

And I took my eye off Briana for a second and she burned someone's house down.

Ahha! so the "You-whoooo!" wave, comes from the Guardian Inclination. Funny.

Briana is a wily one. I love the very calm expression (with an ever so slight grin), on her face. Makes me think of some of Anthony Perkin's looks in Pyscho.

I have an odd request for post-Daimon-ers. I'm going to try to blow through BBI tonight with Alynna, but if someone could get this shot real quick, it would save me some time. It's rather specific, but I thought I'd ask anyway.

 

I need a shot of Shinon and Briana and the maneater in the Garden of Ignominy. This maneater.

 

I don't want them to be attacking the maneater, that's the problem. Shinon can be, I suppose, but Briana can't. I also can't have anyone else in the shot, so unless you're Carcharoth, you'll have to toss your main pawn to the lower floor (or even Brine him).

 

I don't think this maneater shows up Pre-Daimon, it's like the second chest you'd come across, I don't think they'd dump that on newbies right away.
