I think I only have one Dragon Band in both playthroughs. And I think they were both gifts

Poor Seel  What is that, a cyclops foot? He doesn't seem concerned lol Dork. Probably thinking about his hair again.

@Shepen - You'd da laday!! Thank ya, much. :)

I will pay it forward with some Everfall/Ur-Dragon stuff, for some newbies. (but do let me know if there is anything you need ;) )

@Curious - it's an ogre foot, and Seel is right to be unconcerned. Ogres only go after women. And Zihark.

@Coldi - Zi's in the Everfall now gathering wakestones and fighting the Ur, but he will accept any and all gifts sent his way. I'd forgotten how great the Everfall is.

pic spam before I leave, it's mostly Shinon, but...

@Captain - I still grab Talia from time to time, and she shows up around the Everfall still. "Left to wander. Bereaved..." *sniffle* Nothing wrong with lurking, but feel free to chime in whenever it fancies you. The more the merrier. ;)

@cap'n - I also take Talia out occasionally, so she's getting her exercise. Good to see you, by the way, but a shame about the 360. Consoles were hardier machines back in the earlier days. You could even drop a Gamecube down the stairs and it would still work fine. ...not that I ever did, mind you, but I saw someone do it on a youtube video. Now they don't even suggest moving a 360 when there's a disc inside, even when it's off.

Well its nice to see she is still being useful :)   I suppose that also a reason why I'm reluctant to even at least wipe my save, I know she is still out there in the world. Its kind of a bitter sweet thing B)

Awww....that is kinda sweet. :)

Of course, you know that we would be more than happy to take any NEW pawn you created, for many trips around Gransys, the Everfall, BBI. And dress them up to boot! ;)

@Shepen - I had to laugh a bit when I picked Zi up last night. He was wearing the one thing I intended to gift him; the Divine Surcoat. (got an extra one in the Everfall a few days ago). I actually really like that armor. It goes with a lot of arm/leg/head/cloak pieces. It's the "little black dress" of the DD world.

No worries though...I have other items to give, so it's all good.

Shinon doesn't, I don't think. Here's a pic from last night that seems to suggest he has issues with it.

ddteam189.jpg

I don't think he's ever worn one, but he's rarely anything but ranger these days.

My only problem with it, again, is the open armpits. What was that? Stop using chainmail bracers as clothing? Use a jerkin or shirt instead? I'm sorry, i don't quite know how to do that. I've tried, but they all just seem to fall off.

LOL....yeah. I take the bare armpits, with a dash of suspension of disbelief. Or I just pretend, that they have that "magickal shield" effect, that some BBI armor goes on about (???? - never understood that one, especially when it can be found added as an attribute to the Gauntlets of Oblivion. "Boosts the power of normal and magickal shields." ) :D

Well, magickal shields are what mystic knights use. Assassins can use normal shields, which makes the buff on the Oblivion Gauntlets not TOTALLY useless, but merely pretty useless. ;) Although why anyone would pass up using a bow for a shield is beyond me.

It looks like Shinon has a third job now. Well, fourth if you count being a pawn as one. There's news reporting, plastic surgery...

...and saurian acupuncture.

Mostly useless, would be at the very least, the most appropriate description of that enhancement for the Gauntlets of Oblivion. :D And yeah....no. Never trade bow for shield. Love my bow. Bow is good. Bow is love. Shield can bite me.

Love the "body sculpting" Shinon is performing on Alynna.

So what gives...Chase is doing Cyclops dentistry, and Shinon is practicing Chinese medicine on Saurians. KILLLLL, don't "treat".
:pinched:

lol.

**EDIT**

Sheesh. That whole "bow vs. shield" bit, came off really snarky. I blame the weather, and bad t.v.

Nah, I don't think Seel's a perv. He just likes messing with people. Either that or he's been hanging around Alynna a tad too much, who MAY be a perv but will contest that until the day she dies and doesn't use a wakestone afterwards.

Seel's gotta have a little time to joke around, what with all the killin' he does.

Hey I feel the same way about shields. Shields: Look awesome when Arya is using them ... but it's daggers and bow all the way for my Arisens

Oh yay, that's how I envision him :D All bark and no bite. (When confronted with actual biting, a.k.a. Briana, I'm pretty sure he'd run like the true chicken he is.) I hope he's a good killer for y'all (wow that sounds awful). Just a few more levels to infinity... I wonder if it would be better to stay sorcerer or switch to ranger or warrior or something. Though I figure at this point he'll never be a great ranger or strider. Won't stop me from playing him that way once he's infinity cause he looks pretty cute in ranger get-up  All bright-eyed and ready to shoot his bow (just possibly in the wrong direction and at the wrong thing). I've had the urge to make Arya a mage or sorcerer of late, too; I bet she'd rival Barnaby when it comes to dropping fireballs on people's heads.

@Curious - at this point, the amount of "attack" points you would add before maxing out, is pretty small. Doesn't mean it would hurt (especially since Seel is well loaded up on Magick Attack points). If you just want to look at upping his HP and defense a bit, you could put him as a Fighter until he maxes out. It will also give you a couple extra points in attack as well (again, not a lot, but it's something).

Do as you want though, and have fun. If you do change him though, we might have a few items we can toss his way, that could be fun to play dress up with. ;)

Ohh, fighter could be fun! I'll take any unused, UNWANTED DF'ed shields :D As stated above, I also hate using shields, so no way is Rohan going to also play fighter so he can carry a shield and DF it. Ugh. Okay, I might actually do this, but I'm hoping to avoid it. It's bad enough he has to play sorcerer from time to time to DF stuff for Seel. On the plus side, Seel looks really cute in fighter/warrior armor; he's all bright-eyed and excited about stabbing and bashing things. Then he runs and trips and falls in a tumble of brightly-colored armor.

You know, I honestly love the way you build characters in DA so that they're all pretty unique once they hit infinity, but sometimes I just wish my pawn (or Arisen) could be an expert at everything lol

I know from personal experience the damage a 360 can do to a disk when you move it whilst it is playing (some disks can be very noisy).  Completely wrecked Fable 3 (which after I eventually played the game, not such a bad thing)

I hope everyone had a lovely Easter and didn't eat too many chocolate eggs (I tried to ration myself).

I haven't had much chance to go on DD on the Xbox lately as i was away visiting my family, but I did have a bit of play on the PS3 DD before I went away and it was quite nice playing at a low level.  F!Chase is brilliant.  I did manage to take some pics, but it is such a faff transferring them (Xbox is so much easier).

@Newschmoo - Happy Easter to you as well. (or belated ;) ). Ahhh....so nice to see Rhys and F!Chase. :) I really should get on with Castor/F!Chase on the PS3. But just like you, I am having too much fun playing with Ari/Castor, at a lower level. Working on their builds, finding loot that is new to them, and beasties being tougher. Too fun. :D

I want to see Seel with a Brutish Wall. It's about as big as he is. <3 I don't think you can gift them though.

I'm working on the Report right now, I think the group's got their first real in-depth interview with Barroch.

I don't have much for pictures uploaded, just this one of Zi. I think he got into Shinon's stash.

SO--!! Someone is veeery excited about donning his fighter gear!

Rohan advised he stick by the more experienced heavy-hitters; he may have taken that advice too literally.

And I swear to god, doesn't Shinon look like he's quirking just the barest hint of a smile here as he looks down upon his new protege?

EDIT: p.s. While in the Scaryard tonight, attempting to kill our second drake, Death showed up  Didn't realize it until two pawns were dead. He then took out Seel and Rohan in one swoop. Luckily I was able to resurrect, but then I liftstoned outta there. Also, gotta make sure Seel isn't carrying all my liftstones....

I haven't visited this thread for a long time, but I just started playing Dragon's Dogma again a few days ago, and I can't remember who the pawn belonged to here, but I have Chase in my party now! This is on the PS3 btw. I'll have to take a few screenshots when I get some decent armor and post the crew together.

Ahhh....sweet! F!Chase is getting some fresh air, between you and Newschmoo. :D I had gifted your lady fighter (I think she was fighter), some time back, but the last time I got on the PS3, I noticed she was still wearing the original stuff. Figured you hadn't gotten a chance to play and take a "nap" at one of the Inns. ;) Been a while since I got on the PS3. Fighting a cold, so I may take a day off (or two) and play a little. Let me know if there is anything you would like gifted, or if you want F!Chase's class changed. She's flexible.

Nice to see you around.

@curious and @Shepen - nice pics! I like Seel as a fighter, btw. But I must get that boy a better shield....which I believe I can provide. :) (New Lambent shield, from the Ur-Dragon.)

Hrmmm. Got all ready to give Seel the Lambent Shield, but didn't find it in my inventory. Then it dawned on me; I got that from fighting the Ur-Dragon with Ari/Castor. Doh! :pinched: (obviously, I am currently playing with Ulee/Chase)

I will toss a better shield on him for a moment, and when I go back to Ari, I will gift him the Lambent Shield.

@Shepen - how goes the "report"? ;)

Aww thanks  ^_^ I need to DF some lvl 1 and 2 weapons I've got stockpiled and see if any of those turns into a cool shield, too. Or I'll see if Olra's friend (I forget his name) has any good ones for sale.

While I meant the fact that Zi's covered in oil, it would not surprise me if Shinon had a different kind of stash as well. That Briana's a baaaad influence. ;)

112_zps53c63ae1.jpg

Okay, first off... where is the top of Shinon's coat? Does that combination of armor always leave the neck open? I've never noticed that before. I have to change that.

And about the smile, here's a more noticeable one.

Spoiler

I don't know why Zi got kicked out of the shot. Probably because of his Shinon impression that he did during his last Catacomb concert.

@Shepen - how goes the "report"? ;)

It goes swimmingly. Although Barroch pointing his sword at an arisen surrounded by eight pawns is probably not the best idea he's ever had. (I'll never understand why the pawns are suddenly absent in that cutscene... I'm guessing it's to avoid what happened in the report.)
