Let me tell you, he was OBSESSED, OBSESSED I tell you, with bringing Seel's lifeless body back to Rohan during the firedrake fight. Another thing regarding that fight: don't fight firedrakes with two fighters and two archers. You stand there like a useless git while your fighter pawn whacks at the drake's tail. The strider pawn hides behind you the whole time (probably because he's Guardian/Nexus) and the supposed "I am the king of BBI! Nothing stands in my way!!!" 6'2 redheaded ranger pawn can't aim for sh!t.

He used to be Nexus/Utilitarian because I liked the idle animations (yes, that is my criteria for inclinations.) I do however seem to recall him saying "I will protect you, Arisen" during my short stint with that group today instead of his usual "I'll protect my fellow pawns."

He sometimes gets mobbed by his undead fans and is forced to sign autographs and pose for pictures. If this was not the case and he just stood and watched as his temporary master was swallowed by a giant worm, he may have been preoccupied with thinking up song lyrics for his next smash hit, which he has tentatively called Dead Man's Party.

@Shepen - YES! Finally, someone else sees the Gillian Anderson similarity. I even used to choose another set of eyebrows, that were more akin to Gillian's. My husband says he can't see the likeness ( ), and I admit, that when I was first making her, it wasn't that I was trying for a Gillianesque Arisen. However, once I finished her, I totally saw it. (and had no problems with the similarities )

As for live-ins: Ulee has Ser Max (he apparently is stuck too, since I got him again in NG+, even though I thought my affinity with him was gone - don't remember seeing "pink" and hearing chimes). *shrug*

Ari has Reynard.

Oh, and both have Selene paying rent at their pads.

Dai is with Reynard, but he's kind of spacey and probably forgets him. Also he's currently kind of hiding from him because Reynard maaay have discovered that he's not 18. Maybe Reynard got the hell outta dodge and found Ari

 

Rohan is with Valmiro. He loves staring at beautiful women and has an on-going crush on Mercedes, but he and Val are still besties with benefits

Gotta love those "convenient merchant" LI's. That jackass Montebank will be up next for Ari (god only knows what I will have to do for that overpriced windbag). Ulee will try for Fat Bast__Fournival, on NG++. Already started making some forgeries of those damn idols. God I hate these dirtbags...LOL! I need Caxton though, to stay put. Between Orla and Barroch at BBI, Caxton, Reynard, and Mercedes, are not as needed in Cassardis. The other two though, have something quite useful, if I had quicker access to them (since I spend so much of my time in BBI).

Yay! wasn't sure I would make GP in time. Also spied Carcharoth's name on the board.

 

When I signed in tonight I noticed I had 4 friend requests, when I didn't recognize any of the names from the pawn community, I figured they were moochers wanting Big Pawns That Killed The Ur-Dragon, so I went to see if my name was on the board. Yep. All three of us are there. Go team!

Thanks guys! It's all about that Holy Furor spell - I used to run the other way when I'd see that red target zone appear and wait for all the wacky lasers to stop before heading back. Now I run into it - Kalethai usually dies, but she dies for her art.

 

I just wish Barnaby hadn't cast fulmination just before I snapped that shot of Thomas - that's why he's bluish. Kalethai had him put to the sword.

@Aedanstarfang - nice shots - are those your Arisen's?  Very handsome guys!  A lot of us on here are on Xbox (almost everyone has infinity pawns, apart from me  ) , so let us know your gamertag and we can use your pawn(s).

One thing I have noticed about the pawns is their meticulous attention to grooming, particularly body hair.  Not one armpit hair to be seen.  The waxing salons in Gransys must be kept very busy!

She originally muscled her way into the party to keep an eye on us to make sure we weren't doing anything blasphemous or "unclean." The fact that she ended up exploding says just a little bit about my boys. 

 

And welcome, Aedan! Like Newschmoo said, we're mostly xboxers here and love showering people with gifts. I've got an infinity pawn on my Shepenwepet gamertag, and a level 62 one on my Wizardy5 one. @Aedan - Nice pawns. The middle pawn, looks similar to my original Castor Arisen, on my old PS3 game.

Like @Shepen, I have two XBL accounts(hence two pawns). Level Infinity for my Chase pawn (FlattestFlea726), and my Level 102 Castor pawn (coldwetn0se). Both are somewhat of a balance build, though I suspect just like my Infinity pawn Chase, Castor will be a bit heavier on the Strength side. Easy to happen, when you love making your pawns Rangers, after level 100.

Finally started taking picture while fighting the Ur-Dragon. Yup....I suck. I am going to keep practicing today, once I can get online. In the meantime, here are my (lame) attempts:

One reason that I may be having troubles with shots, is that the Ur knocks Ulee to her ass more often than not...


When I finally get righted, and think "perfect! a grand setup.", the Ur decided to fire-bomb us with his breath...Poor Shin. lol!


Apparently Shinon got into Briana's "party-favors", since he thought it a great idea to tickle the Ur.


Eventually, I got a few decent shots....they just weren't that interesting. (though Bri looks lovely (and slighty psychotic) as always.

Ur-Dragon pics take a while. Yesterday, I got a grand total of 12 shots that passed my crud filter in about two hours. When I remember, I strip Shinon of his bow to force him to get up close and personal with Ur and just wait for Holy Furor, which used to fire off all the time, but now that I want it, the dragon just uses stomps and swipes.

 

Sorcerers can look nice within Holy Furor, but it's tough keeping them on their feet and casting when they're being peppered with lasers.

 

I stand underneath the Ur when I can, and just look at my minimap. I've gotten into the groove of being able to tell when I'll get hideous corpse pawns and when I'm too close, so that does cut down on time, but I still pause, look around, back out of the menu and a half second later, I'll pause again.

Damn that stomping and swiping! That is what I was mostly getting yesterday. I got two of the Holy Furors, right at the beginning, and then just stomp, swipe, throwup purple Kool-Aid, and flap wings.

You are much better at paying attention to the minimap. I do try and use it (when I remember...DOH!), but I sometimes just don't read it well. Practice, practice, practice. *nods*

Standing under the Ur was when I started getting better pics, but it didn't even occur to me, to take away Shin's bow. That is a really good idea. Shinon was almost exclusively using his bow. Chase was splitting his time between bow and blades, and Bri was glued to the Ur, and slashing away. She fights like I do with Ulee.

After another Ur fight in which it only used Holy Furor once, I thought to myself, isn't there a tome that casts it?

 

There is. And it doesn't wipe your stamina like it does when cast as a MK.

 

I wonder if I have any in storage. It would be ideal because it wouldn't stun me or my pawns...
