What the fu**! I can not get this bastard, and my hands are numb. Four tries, already! I am so pissed (since I put so much time into this one, since yesterday). Nine hearts?!?!?! Fuuuuuuuuuuuu****. I should be doing awesome damage, and it is taking forever to get each heart down. Of course, I feel like beech slapping the pawns right now. They are maybe getting a shot every 20-30 seconds. I sheet you not. And none of them want to climb (suppose I should have taken some bows away, but.....) I have clout, vehemence, opportunism, bloodlust (and yes, I am fight "at night"), two pieces of strength adding armor pieces, and stacking Conqueror Periapts.

BAH!

sorry 'bout the tantrum. I have succeeded with this setup before, and that many hearts (though admittedly, I may have had some good luck on "where" those hearts were located - i.e. no wing hearts and tail hearts, for example.)

Ah well. Going to take the dog out for his afternoon constitutional. Serves me right, for playing hooky.

I think I may have been one of the people who put him into grace. Only had to deal with two hearts. Thousand kissed the heart on his shoulder and put a Maker's Finger into one at the end of his tail.

 

I've also got a Beowulf and Siegfried mask if anyone wants them.

Coldy, if it makes you feel better, the one time I fought the Ur during Grace he had one heart. I fought him 4-5 times and never killed him... lol #pathetic

@Storm - Sorry...missed your post in amidst my "frothing". lol!

Will get on PSN later tonight, and rent out your pawn. Fem!Chase is more magick heavy, but I do have her currently set to Ranger (since I was playing in BBI, the last time I was on, and Ranger is good for that place). I can switch her to Mage; she deals good damage, and can still heal. Let me know if you would like to set her to any particular vocation; she is maxed in all of them.

I missed grace, although technically I did "fight" it once, only realizing it was in grace about 45 minutes into my 10-minute fight.

 

I've found a way to make it slightly easier to get holy furor shots, once you see the Ur begin to charge HF (he tucks his head down towards his body), you should grab your heavy damagers and toss them away so they don't prevent it from being cast. It helps if your damage dealer is the pawn you want to photograph, because you can just keep carrying that pawn until the holy furor ring appears... then toss them into it. It's still a bit of a crapshoot, you're not guaranteed they'll get up and face you, and the Ur tends to give you a nice screen full of scales just when you line up a shot, but it does up your chances.

 

I got a few of Shinon, but nothing really worth keeping.

Actually, sounds like very good advice, since getting them to be in good position for it, can be maddening.

@Stormheart - Rented your lovely gal Sila, and gifted her some armor/weapon (plus a Cursed BBI item). She helped take down two Drakes, a Cyclops, many Grimgoblins, and a plethora of Saurians. I sent her back into the rift, so you can "rest" at the Inn (next time you are on), and collect the goodies. Will rent her again tomorrow.

@Newschmoo - Rented Rhys again, after dropping Sila off in the Rift. I hadn't seen him without his head gear on before. Very handsome fellow. I believe I have a Talarian White, I can gift him. Forgot that Chase really needs better weapons. She has great armor, but meh on weapons. Will need to take on AD in BBI to godsbane for lvl.3 weapons. Work, work, work.

The one-sided rivalry between Shinon and Zi is becoming concerning LOL

 

Not great shots the past couple nights, but I felt I ought to share anyway. Someone named "missvakarian" wanted to friend me, and after waffling over whether to do it or not over several weeks (not lying here) I finally decided to accept her request. Her pawn is really great!!! Her pawn is "Choco" and she's really cute AND SHE'S A BEAST!!! I call her "cute Briana." She has three star knowledge in everything except Death and, of all things, pyre saurians lol And she's one heck of a pack horse, too, for such a little gal. Here she is:

Rohan and Seel are level 187 now (IIRC) ... take that, Arya and Dai! Anyway, it's now pretty easy to kill a firedrake and a cursed dragon. Just 15 levels or so ago it would take Rohan forever to kill a firedrake. Finally he's got some strength behind those blades, I guess.

@Coldwetn0se - thanks for taking Rhys out.  He used to have vibe about him that would not have looked out of place in a 1970s catalogue, but in the end I had to take him down to stubble!  I think it was the hair/moustache combo that I gave him. F!Chase is an absolute boon.

 

@Stormheart - hello, hope you are still enjoying DD:DA - I am about level 38ish on the PS3.  I am going on there this evening and can take you pawn around Gransys for a bit (and maybe a bit of BBI, for experience!).

@Aedan - Love that Berserkin. I really have to start farming the Everfall again. But I hate it so much... the farming, that is. Love the everfall itself.

 

@Newschmoo - the Siegfried mask is the black one, you may be after the Saint George Mask, which is white. I'll send you a Georgie tonight anyway, I have a spare.

I know, I totes squee'd and had to snap the photo, even though it wasn't a great shot lol Lately it's been Lyncean Shot or nothing! But they were too perfect.

 

Choco is level 175-ish. I know, I figured she had to be a BSNer with a name like that. Hello, missvakarian, are you out there? I love your pawn. Hope you're enjoying Seel. Tell Choco his flirtations are harmless. 

 

You can call me moto  ... MMG, Art, Artemis, Curious, CA... I know who you'll mean My online persona has been "Artemis" or some form of it since I was 15, so that's why I changed it. I feel more like "me." "Motomotogirl" was more a spur of the moment thing and was in reference to an anime that I don't even fangirl over much anymore.

@Carcharoth - Wow, thank's ever so much for the mask - Thomas looks so broody in it.  I think he suits a mask!    I've switched him to sorcerer for a bit, only because he needs a bit more magic in him
