Don't worry on gifts for most of us (won't say all, since people have pawns at various levels ). Gifts are fun to give, as much as get, and many of us have pretty large inventories. LOL! Looking forward to taking your pawn out for a spin.

Hello @Kaidan Fan - welcome to the thread.  Nicholas is not a boring name for a pawn, it's good.  Mine's called Thomas - he has a thing for hats  !  I am on Xbox too, so I can take your pawn for a bit of a tour through BBI.  I need to build up my levels a bit (still only level 121)

I can't think of anything specific.  I am never good at remembering the names for a lot of things!  I have a mind like a sieve!  But anything would be gratefully received - Rhys is still a infant pawn!

 

@AedanStarfang - I currently have Darik in my team at the moment.  He is very cute.  He helped me with a Fire Drake in the Duskmoon Tower - unfortunately it kept grabbing Gabs (the Drake that is!)

Talking about glowing pawns, I have noticed that Carcharoth glows red quite a lot - is that a specific skill?  It looks impressive anyway!

One of the Warrior talents, glows red. I want to say it is Act of Vengence?? I believe. Looks pretty cool, catching in a screenshot. lol!

I have a max level Fighter pawn for any ps3 players going through Bitterblack Isle(Psn-JayJay2515, pawn-Cenobia). 

 

I also will take any red class or Ranger pawn through Bitterblack Isle if you need extra RC because everything except Condemned Gorecyclops, Death, and Daimon is a cakewalk.

 

Thanks for the offer.  I have a PS3 pawn, but I haven't finished the main DD game yet (I'm getting there), so I am not going to attempt to go to BBI until I have accumulated a few more Wakestones! 

 

As to extra RCs, that would be good.  My pawn is currently a sorcerer as I am trying to balance him out between strength and magic (he was a Strider/Ranger previously). But when I switch his vocations to one of the red classes, it would be great if I could send you a FR.

 

I agree, Death is not a cakewalk (I have only got him down to half his health bars so far in my Xbox game - he keeps popping up all the time at the moment, just as I switched to a non-archer vocation), but Daimon wasn't too hard once I learnt a few tactics (being a Magick Archer is brilliant)  !

 

Edit - @Coldwetn0se - take control of the remote!  I am going to look that skill up. I haven't done a Warrior vocation for a while, it looks cool.

This. It affects the AI and makes warriors behave more aggressively. I think it also reduces the pointless jumping.

@Carcharoth42 & Coldwetn0se Chase & Briana have been exemplary in aiding Jacen & Darik through BBI, expect to get some Goddess Cameos, and Conqueror's Periapts gifted to you when their service is over

 

 

EDIT: Also if it's not too much to ask, does anyone have a Cursed Dragon horn they can gift to Darik?

 

You should also consider bringing those two along for a few whacks at the online Ur-Dragon, even if you're a low level, you'll still do a bit of damage. My level 70-something with a few heavy hitters picked up an Ascalon and a Lustrous Greatshield for pretty much doing nothing. Just bring some wakestones with you.

 

And I'm sure I have a Cursed Dragon horn, I think Alynna has Darik with her now.

I would agree with @Carcharoth, regarding the White Hawk armor....at least pieces of it. When I originally had my "Chaneris" - Fenris' looking Chase - I used a combo of the White Hawk Gauntlets and a torso piece I am forgetting the name of. I still have it, so I will look for the name later. The Monomi Bracers would actually work well, with that "early" Fenris concept.

Also, @Shepen's idea to spend a little time fighting the Ur-Dragon, with the higher level pawns, is a good one. Though, it can be a crap-shoot with the online version. Like me spending waaaay too many hours on one of the Ur's a week and a half ago, and only getting some RC's and a bag of gold for my trouble. I too have gone in for only one round, and without the best setup, and still gotten better loot than that last Ur I fought. I blame the servers not updating correctly/fast enough/wuteva. LOL!

So I peeked at bbi........I don't wanna go back.  Death was not kind to me.   I'm no super awesome player at DD so I will just wait till I'm higher leveled and can change my vocation to something I'm better at

Sorcerers are ok too because Living Armors and the ghosts are annoying when you only have one caster, any class is ok except Strider and Mages because I'm an Assassin and I have this one Mage in my party that I'm in love with.

 

I used to farm Daimon for Lvl. 3 weapons so it's been a long time since I fought his 2nd form without blast arrows and Conquers Periapts so I don't know how hard he is now.

I think that may have been my bad, @Kaidan Fan. Spelling error; Doh! Sorry. I will send the request to you, but for anyone else still needing my other gamertag it is spelled: Flattestflea726 (it was one of the names generated by XBL, that I never bothered to change )

Don't worry about Death (as odd as that may sound...lol!). That first encounter will be the only one, until you reach a part of the labyrinth called the Bloodless Stockade. (At least, that will be the case till you finish off the main boss, and go into "post-Daimon" status. After that, grinding through BBI can have Death showing up in a lot of different places.)

So as it stands right now, you could play through some rooms, and not worry about running into Death for a while. We will also take your pawn around BBI, so they can "learn" about some of the beasties. That will help for when you start going through the Labyrinth yourself.

So today I re-learned that if you gift a lvl 3 Bitterblack cursed item to another player because it didn't purify to what you wanted, you will just keep getting the same result until you keep it. Sigh. I guess I can't gift lvl 3 armors to anyone until I finally get a health regen Carrion mantle...

Newschmoo - apologies in advance for any ☆ ☆ ☆ rentals. Pretty much all I do anymore is farm Ur Daimon, and keeping low level pawns alive in Bitterblack is no small feat! I'll try to make up for it when it happens, though.

Did a bit of adjusting to Castor's face. He still looks like him, but just looks more.....dignified? I guess, I would call it "dignified". It fits with his desparate attempt at trying to seem more dashing and experienced. (but we know the truth of things...*nods*)

Also, gave some new duds to our newest pawn member, Nicholas (@Kaidan Fan's pawn). Didn't realize that I was out of Volant Whites, with Ari/Castor. Still have a bunch in Ulee and Chase's inventory, but I suspect a bunch of us have Volant whites to gift him.

Have no idea why it is so dark (okay, granted, he isn't wearing a lantern, but I do have the Elite equipped, and Radiance added to my augments. ).

I was reading your post about adjusting your pawns face and I looked at the picture and I was thinking..wow, her pawn looks just like Nicholas .  My daughter and I agree that he looks very roman now!   I can't thank you enough.  I don't know what you mean about the white things and such and you guys will have to teach me how to gift things. 

 

I'm actually going to get on right now so I can oogle Nicholas!

My mask tally is now 2 Saint George and ....FIVE BEOWULF. COME ON NOW. I have a Siegfried and an Apollo Mask, but they were both gifts. This is getting a tad insane.
