I've got some nice pics of some of your characters, Aedan, but I'll have to sort out my pics to find them.

Seventh kill...

ddshiur.jpg

Shinon dealt the final blow, as Alynna was blown halfway across the arena and was out of stamina... again.

My mask tally is now 2 Saint George and ....FIVE BEOWULF. COME ON NOW. I have a Siegfried and an Apollo Mask, but they were both gifts. This is getting a tad insane.

WE DID ITTTTTTTTTT!!!!!! :D

Congratulations on getting him, Artemis. What mask and weapons did you get?

AHHHHHHH!!! I missed grace!!!!! LOLOLOL!

That is too funny to me. Rog gets done with work, and we left for the store (to buy dinner ingredients), pretty much RIGHT when @Carcharoth posted "Grace". :pinched:  Hell, I even still have the game on stand-by. hehehe!!

Ah well. Glad to see so many made it in. I also had to "chuckle" a bit at how many Beowulf Masks @Shepen has (I kept getting those damn St. George Mask). ;)

@Aedan - Love the snapshots of your lovely men. :) BTW, I had rented your lady a few days ago (I do have screenshots of her as well, but haven't downloaded them yet), but it looks like you slept and got the goodies I sent her (since I see she has her new Abyssinal Boots on. :) )

@Curious - Congrats on taking the online Ur down!!! Woot!

@Kaidan Fan - If you haven't received the gifts yet, don't fret. It sometimes takes a while for the servers to update. Just keep taking "naps" at the Inns, when you get a chance. BTW, your Nicholas does look quite a bit like my Castor (before his hair change, and mutton chops. lol!!). Feel free to ask any questions; we are a chatty bunch.

@Curious - Congrats! The first one's always the hardest. Well, unless you run into a Gracie with like nine hearts. Then the first one isn't so bad in comparison.

I know which weapons I got - Heaven's Key, Talarian White, Totem Mace and Angel's Fist. Totem Mace is the drop I see every time.

And now a trio of pics, I'm pretty sure I still have both Thorne and Nicholas in Kalethai's party -

Wow you must've kept Dimitri for a while eh? He still has his hero's cape equipped instead of the Sovereign's mantle

A new pic of Darik wearing his recently dragonforged Nomad's cloak & a 3-star Chilling Focus (you can't see them but he has a forged pair of dragon bonds as well)

Thanks everyone!!! :D I got Siegfrid mask (my 2nd one now), Volant White, a magick archer bow, a mystic knight mace, and a two-handed hammer. Sorry, I didn't quite catch their names, as those are classes I don't play very often with this save.

@Coldy, took your advice and used... conqueror's periapts!!! And I remember you saying that you stacked four on top of each other, so that's what I did! Rohan was a beast, lol! Also brought some mushrooms and what not to keep his stamina up.

@Shep, Yeah thank god there were only two hearts this time and on the same foot! I wailed on the first one for an eternity, then wondered if maybe I should start wailing on the second one... that one finally went dark, then I quickly crawled down and demolished the first one.

Anyway, a true mile marker :D And boy are Arya and Dai p!ssed that these idiots did it before them! Your turn's next, guys!

Hello DD players was wondering where you get all this amazing loot from. Also when should I start BBI before or after new game+?

Hiya @Stormheart! Most of the loot, is from BBI, but some is from the Everfall. I would suggest to start playing BBI now. The quest(s) for BBI reset with NG+. If I remember correctly (and forgive me, my brain melted today with the heat wave we experienced here. LOL!), you are on the PS3. I will get on tomorrow, and take your pawn through some of BBI. This way, they will gain some beast knowledge, that will be helpful. Also, if you need me to reset my female Chase pawn, to a different vocation, please don't hesitate to ask. I may switch her to Mage or Sorcerer, simply since that is her stronger vocations, but I am more than happy to keep her as a Ranger (rangers are so damn useful, there is no denying that. ;) ).

I can also gift you some Cursed Armor/Weapons, from BBI. Once you are on the island, the woman named Olra can "purify" any items that are cursed. If you are looking to get something that your Arisen or Pawn can wear, for the vocation they are currently set with, just be sure to "switch" both your Arisen and Pawn to that type of class (Mage/Sorcerer, Strider/Ranger, and Fighter/Warrior). Olra can switch vocations for you as well. Once both your Arisen and Pawn are in the same type of class, then have Olra purify the cursed item. For level 1 and 2 cursed items, it doesn't always have the most logical results, but it is guaranteed to work for level 3 cursed weapons/armor.

Just remember, you don't have to do the whole Labryinth in one go. You can leave and come back later as you please. Just like the Everfall, it is a good place to grind and gather loot and material. Once you have beat the "big boss", you go into a post-Daimon stage (similar to how Gransys is after you beat the main dragon, Grigori). The monsters can be a bit tougher, and Death will start roaming throughout the Labyrinth. But remember, you can always run or "Liftstone" out of an area, if you feel ill prepared to deal with said monsters. ;)

Happy hunting!

I love all these pictures.  I don't know how you guys get such amazing shots, but I love seeing them.  Is it silly that every time you post one of Nicholas that I grin like a proud mommy? LOL  I can't help it!

So anyways, it looks like a couple of you used him yesterday.   He got a couple new outfits and a shiny staff.  He also gained knowledge of 3 unknown foes (I'm guessing they're on bbi?).

I picked up someones pawn yesterday.  I think it's Carcharoths?  Her name is Briana.  Can I just say she is absolutely beautiful!  How did you get 2 diff colored eyes for her?  I love having her with me too, she is a butt kicker!

I will probably keep her for a bit, is that okay if I do that?  I don't know if there is a certain protocol about keeping pawns?  Should I release her every day and reaquire her?  I don't have any super awesome gifts atm since I'm not into bbi, is it okay to gift other items?  And speaking of gifting, how do I do that?  Just put it in their inventory?

Okay, that's all my noob for now, lol.  I am going to try to link DD screen shots to my swtor guild facebook since I made it then we never used it so I don't spam my regular facebook, cuz I think I might go crazy with them once I start, lol.

And grats to you guys who killed that thing that I don't know what you're talking about!

Comet Shot or Lyncean Sight while using a lantern. Shepenwepet could offer you better tips. She knows the secrets of making pawns do what she wants.

In the character creator, when you're looking at the eye selection, there should be an option for more details. You can make the left eye color different from there.

Keep her for as long as you need her, I'm just glad she's helping people. You don't have to send me any gifts. You give items to another player either through equipping weapons or armor to their pawn, or when you release them you'll have the option to pick an item from your inventory as a gift. Sleep at an inn afterwords to update the servers.

@Carcharoth - I am seriously swiping that first pic of Briana and Alynna. That snapshot is totally awesome. I was bummed I missed out on grabbing Alynninon, before she transformed back into Shinon (not that I complain about getting Shin, mind you ;) ). One of these days, I should send "Chaselee" through the rift. The problem is, she can't make up her disgustingly vain mind, on how she should look. I have one look, I usually go back to, so I suppose that would suffice.

btw....is it just me, or is Chase becoming a preening peacock? LOL!

@kaidan fan - Carcharoth gave the long and short of it, regarding gifts. Chase doesn't really need anything, but you can always give him a mushroom. (lol...seriously). Castor doesn't need gifts either, but he does run out of pickled mushrooms/imperial acid (for making liquid vims), and Argence for upgrading certain armors. But honestly, don't worry. It is fun to give and get things, but until you get a chance to amass a heftier inventory, just renting the pawns, and giving them full stars, is more than enough. :)

I am one of those that always feels to the need to gift, but I have a thing for "passing the Golden Egg"...LOL! (which by the way, I think has finally come full circle back to Chase. *wink*) Or handing out scrags of beast. Best with a bit of thyme. ;) OH! And skeleton keys. I often give out those, to the higher level pawns. Cuz. *shrug*

@newschmoo - Those snapshots are awesome! :D Gabs might be a tad rusty, since her Master has been vacationing on whatever island Valmiro landed on.

Ahem.   Yeah, I was in a strange land called Vertiel, while playing Bound by Flame (which I just finished the night before last). I got ninjamanced by an elf, whilst trying to romance the Knight who refers to himself in the third person (voiced by Gideon Emery). Sadly, he does the voice in an accent, so it's not as swoon-worthy...I forgot my point there.

I still have plans to sexify Gabs a bit. I am just lazy and distracted. Last night, I got sucked up in Fallout 3 fan fiction, after being caught in a Restaurant Impossible vortex. Maybe tonight will be the night. I'm not holding my breath, though. ;)

@happy_daiz - Curses! You spied that post. LOL! (j/k)

Okay, I should totally just PM this to you, but.....What was your take on Bound by Flames? Beyond the usual "either love or hate the gameplay mechanics", and "foes have bloated health bars", one thing I have seen from many who have played it, say they weren't able to successfully romance anyone. So kudos to you for managing to get at least someone's attention.

My brother bought BBF, I talked to him and he says it's not terrible, just mediocre. It passes the time. Since we generally have the same taste in games, I'm inclined to think I'll see it the same way.

Just think of it as a Birdemic of video games.  ;)  It's not awful. It's a lot of fun; just shallow and sometimes bad writing and acting. But did I mention fun?

@happy - Thank you for the in-depth game review! That is quite helpful. @mnomaha is also playing through the game as well (@mnomaha is Valkarie's creator). I was waffling on whether to get this, and I think I will hold off for now. My biggest problem is that it has been compared (gameplay wise) to TW2. Yeah....I never got through that game, because I really didn't enjoy the gameplay. It was more frustrating than fun, to me. At least I got TW2 for a drastically reduced price, so no biggie that I never finished. This might be one of those games I would still consider picking up, once the price was dramatically slashed. ;) Thanks again, for the insight. :)

@Shepen - Okay, I don't know the game you are talking about (Earthbound), but I LOVE that snapshot.

As for the Ur, hoping I can get in on the next grace....have depleted much of my Ur stock, on both Ulee and Ari (that is, both the online and offline goodies...of course, some of them cross over.) Still have at least one of each mask.

Wait, what? It's been compared to The Witcher 2?

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA. No. Just no. It's a far cry from The Witcher 2.

Writing-wise, voice acting-wise, etc., TW2 was better, but I agree that the gameplay sucked. I hated it. But the scenery in both that and BBF are comparable. And somehow the gameplay in BFF seems better to me.

The best part of TW2 to me:

I would totally tap that.

@happy - LOL! I guess I didn't clarify very well. The comparisons I have read in regards to BBF and TW2, is ONLY the gameplay (not story and characters ;) ). Having only played part of TW2, I only had other peoples word, regarding BBF combat (though like you, most seem to like the pyromancy thing, in BBF).

I wanted very much to meet Iorveth, in the TW2, but I couldn't make it that far. :pinched: The combat was just too much of a chore for me. I'm a bad gamer lady.

@Aedan - I don't mind getting Golden Eggs, but the one I was referring to, was an Egg that I suspect might have been passed around for some time. I know that I have passed it twice (since most Golden eggs rot in my backpack - when I get them from chests - because I forget about them, or I actually use them). So I usually only have one at best, in my Inventory. :D
