Edit: I'd hired Gideon and Senex just before I quit last time, and had to send them back to grab Chase and Gabs, so I promise the next time I'm on I'll rehire those two and give them the grand tour of BBI.

LOL...I keep missing it. See what happens when you let your husband start catching up on his back catalog of saved TV shows??
Ah well. Maybe next time. BTW Shepen, I did that once before when I was actually trying to get any other mask BUT the St. George...I too ended up with the Seigfried Mask. Not sure if this qualifies as the scientific method, but I'm willing to go on a bit of faith.
@Stormheart - sorry I wasn't able to get on today, and rent your pawn. Same reason why I missed "grace". *points dramatically at the man sitting on the love seat* "His fault."

@happy - LOL! I guess I didn't clarify very well. The comparisons I have read in regards to BBF and TW2, is ONLY the gameplay (not story and characters
). Having only played part of TW2, I only had other peoples word, regarding BBF combat (though like you, most seem to like the pyromancy thing, in BBF).
I wanted very much to meet Iorveth, in the TW2, but I couldn't make it that far.The combat was just too much of a chore for me. I'm a bad gamer lady.
You missed out; Iorveth is
.
OK, I'm done hijacking your thread, I swear!

@Shepenwepet: I got the mask. Nicholas looks so good in it! I can't thank all of you enough for all the help you've given him. He looks 100 x's better than my Arisen!
.
Someone (I don't remember who, sorry
) gave him a cursed level 2 armor. It was an adept's robe, soon as I upgrade it for him that sucker is getting equipped to him. I love the look!
I even showed him off to my son when he got home from work last night. He was impressed. He loves DD too but doesn't get to play often.
I finally hit 53 last night. I'm just taking it slow and mostly exploring around again and getting quests done as I run into them. Then if I ever muster up the courage again I'll go back to BBI
.
P.S. Ioverth is in fact da bomb.

@Kaidan Fan - I really like the Adept robes as well. My only complaint with it, is the "group healing effect". Now don't misunderstand, it is a nice bonus and all (for gameplay purposes). But, it makes the other pawns look like Bill Bixby turning into Lou Ferrigno....that green hue isn't quite as nice for screenshots. LOL!!
Okay, day off today, so I will definitely be playing. @Stormheart, if you are still around, I promise I will jump on the PS3 and rent your pawn, so as to gift them and give some BBI experience.

Oh @happy, derail whenever you want. Eventually we hope to just suck you back in to playing with Gabs.
Or by the love of all things holy, unleash Ioverth again! (her alt pawn, not the TW2 character.
)
You guys want some Iorveth love? He's not infinity yet, but I can certainly swap Gabs out for him if you want him. ![]()
He does look pretty yummy (shirtless), after all.

I just did one of those mandatory windows update things and now my laptop is pretty much a useless hunk of plastic. Something must have screwed up during it because now when I start up my laptop, my hard drive makes horrid noises despite task manager saying nothing's running. My desktop icons and task bar have since disappeared, and nothing works.
Windows Update is supposed to create a restore point in case something like this happens, but it says I have none. I'm not terribly upset over losing my pictures should I have to restart from the ground up, but it may be some time before I'm back up and running. I'll still be active on the pawn community, since I don't have to save any files anywhere for that.
'Tis a bummer, hopefully things will work themselves out.

That happened to me shortly after getting this computer. An update made my computer useless, it wouldn't work. And I seriously had it for like a month. I couldn't find a restore point either. Some how I found the update itself and removed it that way, re-downloaded the update and restarted the computer and that fixed it. Ever since I've been afraid of updates
.
Hope this helps. I'm pretty useless when it comes to fixing computers. I just lucked out that time probably. Good luck!

Holy Hellhounds! (btw, I almost accidently clicked the "like" button, when meaning to click the "quote" option).
This too happened to my husband's laptop, a while back. He was able to find the "restore", and get everything back. If I remember correctly though, he had to do it in a someone unique manner. He found some obscure instructions on the internet, that ended up working for him. Since it was nearly two years ago though, I am not sure he will still have the link. I'll ask when he gets back home.
Hope this has a happy ending....

So I am playing on the PS3 right now. I grabbed Stormheart's lovely little mage. However, I am having some badness with this PS3 controller. I don't know what the hell it is doing (yeah, it's getting old, but I have never used my PS3 that much. The whole thing still looks brand new.

Oh no, Shep
That's terrible. Do you have dropbox or something similar, so that all your files were saved? I've had the exact same thing happen to me, and learned my lesson... all my Word files were lost. So now I have dropbox on this computer and my work computer.
EDIT: Also, you let us know what pics you need for Shinon's report and we will get them to you!

I have all of my photos saved to FB and the report stashed on several portable hard drives and Wordpress, luckily my laptop is just one for putzing around on, so I don't really care if I have to wipe it clean.
I've tried going into safe mode and everything works fine, but it won't let me delete the updates from there. Once I head back into "unsafe" mode, after about 5 minutes my icons and taskbar disappear and everything hangs. I've managed to uninstall several of the updates I got today, but I can only get at one or two before I have to shut down again.
Fear not, I have workarounds.

Soooo missed out.
I actually contacted CDPR to see if we could get a pinup with Iorveth instead of Triss. After a few emails and much laughter, they decided they couldn't do it. Very sad... Thank the deities for fan art.

@mnomaha - I spy, with my little eye, something that begins with "S". I may not have gotten to see Iorveth in game, but I have seen both screenshots and art of him, and he is mighty pretty.
@Stormheart - you got mail.

I went to Midnight Helix to try to start a battle between the Gorecyclops and a Cursed Dragon.
Gorecyclops : Check
Rancid Bait Meat : Check
Cursed Dragon : NOPE because Death appears instead and casts Sleep on my main pawn and I make a run for the door to keep her alive and just when I'm about to make it....

Fun night tonight in Ye Olde Isle. And something wonderful happened! But you'll have to guess what ![]()
Okay, confession: Although they don't really make GREAT sceenshots, I'm kind of a sucker for those moments when the pawn calls out and the screen suddenly zooms over towards him/her and they're all silvery...
Sigh. Dem abs...
DEM ABS...
Okay, that's enough of that...
Is Chase rubbing off on Castor? What's with all these warm feelings for the beasties of BBI?
Here's a somewhat unfamiliar face, clearer than usual since we did the old switcheroo.
Suffering under some ailment that's made him all glowy. Or maybe it's something Nicholas did to him. Who knows.
This fellow realized the camera was pointing at him and promptly pulled duckface.
And now the big finale. Can you tell me if you see anything interesting about this picture? Look closely ![]()
A personal note to Carcharoth:

Haha it has to do with a certain item I'd been trying to get, a cursed armor level three item, and I finally managed to purify it
It's the oblivion gauntlets Seel is wearing. I have about ten oblivion boots, ten shadow gauntlets, ten oblivion/shadow you-name-it... and now one pair of oblivion gauntlets xD
