So, I'm sorry in advance if he sucks. Clearly I spent a lot more time with Lielle/Gabs, because they have all the good stuff!
Just noticed that I'm up to 7500 posts. Holy crap.

OOH! If possible, next time you head into the CC, could you jot down his recipe for me? (Gabs as well, whenever you get around to it.) Would be much appreciated!
Will definitely be taking Iorveth out for a spin today. Spar'le!
Edit: Forgot to congratulate Curious on finally scoring some Oblivion Gauntlets! They DO make every outfit awesome! If only the helm of that set was equally tasty.
And my weird computer problems appear to have sorted themselves out? I'll take it... still a bit of weird HD activity, but at least everything works and nothing's freezing. Nothing beats a day in the timeout chair.
edit 2: And now I'm back where I started again, with everything freezing. Sigh.

Fun night tonight in Ye Olde Isle. And something wonderful happened! But you'll have to guess what
Spoiler
Uh oh, was he a bad boy?
We hit 54 last night. Only 2 more red circle things to have full warrior vocation and I can try something else to see if I'm better at it. Although I'm not very good at it, it is kinda fun taking almost no damage ![]()
I hope I got the picture right. It's not a great pose, but you can see Briana and Nicholas in the background ![]()

@Curious - Congrats on finally getting those gauntlets. How many times must I say it...why Capcom, WHY you no let me gift my thousands of extra Oblivion/Shadow Gauntlets (and Carrion/Grave Grieves)?!?!?! It took forever for Ulee/Chase to finally get an Oblivion Coat, but Castor/F!Chase over on the PS3, got the Oblivion Coat right out of the gate (first lvl.3 armor they ever purified).
Go figure. *shrug*
Awesome pictures by the way, and WAIT!.......Are you telling me that blue-haired lad is VAL??? Our Val??? @mnomaha's Val???
@happy_daiz - Nice! Totally looking forward to grabbing up Iorveth. Missed that talk drink of water.
@Kaidan Fan - Sweet! More pictures....ummm. But we can't see your lovely Arisen's face. lol! Looking forward to more snapshots.
@Stormheart - Glad to read that you got the goodies just fine. Hope the cursed item turns into something good. *grin*

Soooo yeah I totally got destroyed by a Lich and dragon tag team in BBI. The fight started out fine I beat the dragon into submission in no time only to have the Lich revive him then out of nowhere comes this crazy tornado spell that wiped the floor with my entire party. Needless to say there were several seconds of just dumbfounded shock followed by a big F you lol.
Ahhh yes! The Dark Bishop! LOL....he is a tough cookie, especially at lower levels. Take mostly Ranged based pawns with you, and go in as Magick Archer. Take with you at least 12 Demon Periapts, some Sobering Wines and STeel Nut potions, and a couple of liquid vims (and your usual health/healing related items). As soon as the fight begins, go into your inventory menu, and immediately use FOUR of the Demon Periapts (they stack), then take a Sobering Wine and a Steel Nut, along with a Liquid Vim. Now spam Sixfold/Ninefold Bolt on the Dark Bishop (lich type creature), with your Magick Bow. Move around, as needed, if the Dragon is still on his feet. Rinse and repeat. Once the Dark Bishop is dead, the Dragon will die as well. Incidently, anything your Arisen is wearing, will get Dragonforged (if it isn't already
There are other ways to take him down quickly, but the nice thing with Magick Archer, is you don't have to worry so much about aiming, like you do with the long or short bow.

As you go up in level, this duo will eventually be much easier (obviously).

No, that's Rohan, Seel's Arisen
Val, as in Valmiro, is his boyfriend. I was telling you guys not to tell Valmiro that Rohan intends to flirt with all your cute Arisens (hence why he's in the Rift) lol But we all know Valmiro's usually only half-conscious anyway so he'll probably never even realize what's going on. Bad Rohan!

@Stormheart - Fournival sells them en masse, in Gran Soren. If you are "post dragon" (Grigori), then you will have to wait until "noonish" on the day/night cycle, before he will show up in the market area. He always heads to where you can find Montebanke (behind the defunct tavern...lol). I buy about a 100 of each Demon and Conqueror Periapts, any time I see Fournival around. I go through them like popcorn.

Ok next question how do I post pictures of my character?
When you are walking around or in combat, you can pause the screen with the "start" button. At the bottom of that menu is a photo share option. Use it to snap a picture. It will save to your harddrive, on the PS3. Then you can load it to a thumb drive, upload to a computer, and host it on your photo-sharing site of your choosing (like photobucket, for example).

Do any of you find that once you get the maneater, no matter how many times you godsbane you'll just keep getting the maneater? I've gotten it seven times in a row now, and this has happened before. I think once you get maneater, that it's it. Just have to kill the damn thing and wait for the chest to reset.

^I once tried godsbaning FOR a maneater, and that eventually worked, but I've never tried to godsbane one away.
I'm about to hop on for a bit. Before I do so, Shinon would like to inform you all that Dowsing Spikes glow in the presence of Great Treasure. (He insisted that be capitalized.)

@Curious - Have never godsbaned on a chest with a Maneater. Interesting.
Going through the last part of BBI, to farm a few lvl.3 Weapons. Besides, haven't fought AD in a while....thought it would be fun.

Posté 17 mai 2014 - 11:06
Yep, Dowsing Spikes are at the Black Cat.
And I know I promised Gid and Senex to give them the Grand Tour of BBI, but I...there was...
And now why I love rapidly pausing. If I get a good shot, after I return to the menu, I hit start to unpause and instantly pause again. The time that passes in between is slight, but enough to get widely different shots.
Oh, and hopefully Seel warned Rohan about Alynna. Apparently she likes 'em young. (Or, you know, really, really old.)

Seel: Warn him? I told him about her, shall we call them, "proclivities," and all the pervert did was put on more cologne. He smells like a bottle of axe body spray exploded inside his armor.
Rohan: That sweet a$$ is mine! I'll show her what a real man's love feels like!
Seel: It's sad you don't know how ridiculous you sound.
In other news...

Do these two look different to anyone? No? Same old pair of loser brothers? (Yes, they are brothers; one just happens to be soulless.) Well you would be WRONG! Because you are looking at a pair of INFINITY characters, people!!!!!!! YEAH!

I have been godsbaning for 45 minutes, on that lvl.3 weapon chest, in the Fallen City. *thunk!*
Oh man I NEVER godsbane in the Fallen City; it's a lesson in fruitlessness! I have two place to collect lvl 3 armor and two places to collect lvl 3 weapons. Lvl 3 armor is, of course, located in two chests in Midnight Helix. I usually don't have to godsbane more than 5x, but occasionally up to 10x. Never more than that.
The chest where I get my lvl 3 weapon is in The Bloodless Stockade. It's all the way at the end of the hall, in the opposite direction of the baddies and the eventual exit. I godsbane, again, between 5-10x before getting my weapon... except when there's a maneater. Once I get a maneater, it's just maneater, maneater, maneater. ![]()
My second place to get lvl 3 weapons is off the corpse of firedrakes
I'm really lucky with those! They're supposed to be rare drops, but I do get them every so often.
Otherwise, that's it. I never fight Daimon b/c he's scary
(Really it's because the game locks you into his chambers; it gives me too much anxiety, as I'm afraid I won't be able to beat him, and I'll be stuck there forever.)
I have indeed tried godsbaning in the Fallen City and after 10-20x on multiple chests and multiple playthroughs, never got anything.

I need to get him some Oblivion Gauntlets and a Revenant Wail... grumble grumble.
I'll at least take a peek at his recipe for you. Should I post it here, or in a pm?

Okay, everyone. Just so you know, now that I've reached one of my goals (get Rohan/Seel to level infinity) I'm moving on towards the next goal for them: hunting Death. So don't be alarmed if your pawns come back with three stars
If anyone does get scythed, I'll try to remember to rehire them and five star them.
