That'll be the last Ur for me for a while, at least until Alynna can shack up with Fournival. I'm down to double-digit periapts in storage and pretty much no stamina restoratives. (did you know that golden eggs are liars? The description in game says they fully restore health and stamina. They don't! I get maybe a third back.)

 

And I got another Siegfried Mask, so that's one extra of those.

BAh!!! It's Grace and I am stuck in the Fallen City?!?!?!?!?!?! Are you frackin' kidding me?!?!?!?

I did finally get that stupid lvl.3 weapon, but then I got stuck on the lvl.3 armor, that is also in the Fallen City (technically, there are two, but I never bother with the other one, since I have lost too many pawns over the damn cliff. Dumb bimbos

Le Sigh....Well, I will finish out AD, and "see" if I can make grace, but I doubt it. LOL!

If you do make it into grace, it's five hearts. The one up on its shoulder and the one on its elbow are pretty much dead, but the one on its head is a doozy. I always have trouble with head-hearts because by the time I get up there, it tosses me off almost instantly.

 

Maybe consider unequipping two bows if you're using rangers, I tried a few times with Shinon, Rohan and Chase and had no success until I took away two bows. I left Shinon with his to help me with the eye heart, and Rohan and Chase went to town on the leg. Much MUCH better that way.

Whelp I didn't make grace. BUT!! On the plus side, AD dropped a lvl.3 armor (haven't had that in quite a while), and I got the lvl.3 Weapon that is in AD's domain, right out of the gate. No godsbaning needed. YAY!.

Anyway, I changed vocations, and raced over to the UR, but was too late. Went ahead and took the opportunity to take some snapshots. Little bastards were being difficult. LOL!

Tonight Briana went insane (or I guess "normal" for her) and started Hundred Kisses-ing that wooden structure at the beginning of Rotwood Depository. The others were just like, all right, Briana, you do that while we take care of these saurian sages...

I finally fought Daimon's 2nd form without blast arrows and wiped 2 times from the Abyssal Vortex until I just said "Git er done!" and just hoped on his stomach and 100 kisses him to death.

 

Got on top of his throne and man did the Rift look amazing

Yes! I just mopped the floor with the Dark Arisen of BBI and got a bunch of lvl 3 cursed weapons,armor sadly I am out of RCs lol. It was epic he did this vortex pillar of light and wiped all my pawns out had to fight him 1on1. On a side not I can't get the last quest for the immortals armor(chest piece) to show up on the quest bored it's driving me crazy.

Did you kill the cyclops in Watergod's Alter?

@Jay-Jay - Really nice shots of fighting AD! I admit, I am always so eager to get the goodies, I never bother taking snapshots, when I fight AD. I just hop on him (in both forms) stack Conqueror Periapts, and wail on him. You, Shepen and Carcharoth are the best at taking screenshots while fighting him. One of these days, I will just do it for the screenies. (like I often do with Ur-dragon, or pretty much every other beastie in BBI.)

Just picked up Iorveth (finally!) and grabbed Zi. I have stuff to give. Chow-chow for now....

@Jay- if you equip Great Gamble or Gamble Draw, you can fire an arrow at those windows in Daimon's chamber and get a view from outside. (It's best to do it after Daimon is dead, because those skills take ages AND exhaust your stamina.)

I think some of the BBI quests require you to be in post-game, as if someone were to trigger some of those nasty spawns before finishing the main quest, they could be stuck for a long time.

 

If you're in post game and this still hasn't popped up, do other BBI quests, and it should.

 

edit: if you're just after the Immortal's armor, you can also get it by purifying Armor Lvl 2s, which you can farm from Living Armors, among many other things.

 

...but you said you were low on RCs, so maybe that's not an option.

And this was after fighting a cyclops and some direwolves, not sure why Nicholas bowed down, but there he is .  Briana is loner'ing it in the background.

 

I hit 55 last night.  Slowly but surely trying to get some levels and gain some courage .

 

I spent like 10 mins in the rift last night just so I could oogle some of your pawns.  They are all so gorgeous.  Though I think I finally ended up falling in love with Castor.  Good job whoever he belongs to (I don't recall, sorry!).

I had a weird experience with a hire, maybe you lovely folks can shed some light on the issue?

A player sent me a friend request through DD (presumably to hire my higher level pawn)
I accepted it and hired the player's pawn to return the favor. The pawn was a level 53 warrior.
The next day I see the player has been online so I check my hires, and I have one, but it says "invalid data" and I don't recieve anything from it.
Confused, I go to the Rift to check the player's pawn... which is now a level 18 Sorcerer.

Is the "invalid data" error because the player deleted their file and started a new one? This is the first time I've seen anything like that! (I have run into hacked pawns in the Top Ranked list, though... you can't even view them because "corrupt pawn data has been omitted")

@Cenic - that can happen if the player switches characters within 24 hours or so of you receiving a gift. I think usually it happens the other way around. I haven't played for a while, so I could be wrong about that. I do know that it takes a while for the servers to register changes like that, though.

I have a character saved on my hard drive, and another on the cloud, so I've had that type of thing happen to me when I switch back and forth, too. That player could have deleted the one they were using, but it may be more likely that they just switched to their alternate. Maybe?

Been catching up on the past five pages, lots of activity - I think I may run out of 'likes' soon!  Great screenshots as ever guys!

 

And big congrats to   @Curious for Seel/Rohan getting to Infinity (and beyond) and for finally getting the Oblivion Gauntlets.

 

I managed to get on the Xbox for a little play yesterday, only to be grabbed by a Cyclops and having Dimitri firing arrows around my Arisen's head!

@CENIC - I am thinking the same as @Happy, they might be switching between two pawns they have.  I know when some people do that you end up with rocks!  I only picked up your pawn today!  I love his look

I've seen this...

 

I was going to say that maybe the person that hired you was using a hacked pawn, but if you can see them in the rift, that may not be the case. I've only seen it once, it's not a common thing, but it's also nothing to worry about, it's an issue on the other player's end.

 

If they completely deleted their save and started from scratch, that might have done it, like others have suggested.

 

Having two pawns on one GT/ID and alternating between the two can cause issues, but normally only in the form of gifts turning into rocks (to try to prevent item duping.)
