^Try farming for a Dragon Band. That was brutal. ![]()
I was just on the Pawn Community, the photo theme for the week is "company portraits". A lot of the screenshots in that category had like ten pawns in one shot, and I couldn't figure out how they did it... then I noticed some of the shots had a fence in the background.
I haven't tried yet, but I know you can pick wandering pawns up, right? I wonder if I placed a bunch of our pawns in the little fenced-off area by the north gate if they'd stay there while I hunted down the rest of our gang around Gran Soren. I know I wouldn't be able to hit a loading screen, but could I go far away from them? Would they magically "reset" to their original positions once I get out of range?
It's something to look at anyway, it'd be neat if we could get a shot of all our pawns (or pawn-arisens) together for a group photo.

Wish I could help you test that out, but alas....still no DSL.
@Jay-jay - glad to read that you got your Burnished Bracers. I actually do have extra pairs, but since I can't get online to gift....
Been playing a half finished play through of DAO, I have had sitting on my PC, for nearly a year. This is one of my US play throughs, and a mage (I really don't like playing mage in DAO *grimace*), so motivation was harder to finish this play through out. But, I don't like leaving things half finished (actually, she was closer to 2/3 finished, when I stopped playing).
Hoping for internet results by this weekend. Then I will play some DD.

I finally got max vocation in warrior and switched to fighter. I got sinew. Man do I love having that! Hit 56 last night. And someone gave me a lvl.3 bbi cursed armor thing and it turned out to be a hellfire helm, which I really love (I think it was Ulee?). So thank you so much for that! ![]()
Hope you get your internet woes fixed soon, coldwetn0se!
Sent a friend request to Happy Daiz.
Grats on getting your bracers Jay Jay!

Ugh, me either. I'm still sitting on a DAO mage run that I wanted to import in DA2, but just can't seem to make myself finish it. I had just gathered the armies, and was getting ready to start the Landsmeet business. I wish I could just skip to the Archdemon.
@Kaidan Fan - I was wondering if I'd be getting a FR from you.
I checked a day or two ago, but didn't have any. I'll log on tonight after I get home from work to accept it.

You folks are crazy. I ONLY play mage in DAO & DA2.
I played as the other classes to get the achievements, but it was hell for me.
If I'm not tossing balls of flame at something from a distance, I'm doing it wrong.
Unless they announce the Lyncean Sight skill for the rogue tree in DAI, I'm sticking with my mage. ![]()

I originally only played as my male Cousland noble (thus the origin of my name), but then Daylen happened
and he looks like a blonde-Aedan Cousland and his story is mentioned by Hawke's mom and makes being a mage in DA2 worth it for that. Other than that I must say I am really enjoying my Dalish rouge, he's short, buff and sexy as hell plus I love it when he randomly says "greetings!" ![]()

I will say this though, I LOVE playing mage in DA2. In fact, I'm not as much of a fan playing rogue in DA2 (even though they are almost god-tier after getting Assassination).
So yeah...rogue in DAO, mage in DA2. Maybe Warrior will end up being my favorite in DA:I. *shrug*
@Happy - dammit woman. Just deal with the talk-talk of the Landsmeet (I almost spelled that "Landsmeat"
@Kaidan - Congrats on the level up and maxing out the vocation!! Glad to read that you got the gifts ok. And yes, I am reeeeeeally hoping my DSL will be fixed by tomorrow, at least. If not....<grumble> Comcast.

I will become really unpopular when I say I find ALL classes in DA:O boring
The game is just too slow for me. Now in DA2, I enjoy all the classes, but archer / daggers is always my go to class. My Arisens start off as striders, too, and my Skyrim character is a bosmer archer. My Lavellan inquisitor will, of course, be an archer
And my only two DA:O playthroughs I completed were elves, one archer and one dagger wielder. Most of my Hawke's are rogues.

My fave class in DAO was Rogue, for the Ranger skills. Poisonous Spider and Blight Wolf ftw! I did like the Mage class, but I think my biggest problem is that I'm just burned out on the game.
Mage is best in DA2, imho. Rogue is like a ferret on crack. But dem traps and chests. I played probably my first 5 times as Rogue, then discovered that I really like the Force tree. Like a lot. And Walking Bomb.
@Coldy - I know, I know. But Fort Drakon...and just. Blah. I don't even know if I'm going to let Loghain live this time. I don't know.
Umm, back to DD. Any more Iorveth shots?

@Curious - Which game did you play first? Once you get used to one, it's difficult to go back to the other, either way, I think.
*nods* DA2. And I believe you're right
I hope to get back to DD soon. I don't think this pain is going away anytime soon. Why baby it? I'm very close to killing Death, and I think after that, I might try to defeat AD ![]()

I'm sorry, but I have to guffaw....I noticed that Castor is "blocking" Chase from the shot. Like two little kids.

Apologies for the dark blurriness, but it's nighttime, I don't have Radiance equipped and I didn't want to rest at an inn to advance time.
Spoiler
I love it!!!
It's very possible I murmured aloud, "Yay... everyone!!" And oh, look at Seel, posing so saucily! Who is Castor blocking??

Castor is blocking Chase. He also wouldn't stand the right way. Wandering pawns don't move after you place them.... except Castor would always turn to the side.
Update: don't toss pawns over the fence. Jump over the fence while carrying one (you can do it, it took me a few tries to find a spot that this was possible, but it is) and then place them down. Otherwise...

Hello I am in the middle of the suppression quest(griffons) an I can't get the $&@*ers to fight me they just fly around for a little then leave how do you lure them down ect.
Ahh, griffons. Yeah, they're not aggressive, so they're not going to randomly attack you. I think there's always one lurking near Hillfigure Knoll. Also one near Gran Soren. Wait for them to get low enough, then shoot an arrow at it. Hopefully you'll hit it and pi$$ it off enough to attack you lol
I wonder if you could kill something (buffalo, goblin, etc.) when you spot a griffon... would that lure it down? Not sure.
I do know that I'd kill for a griffon pinion!

Yeah I finally got all 3 I resorted to blowing em out of the sky with blast arrows. I just hit lvl 99 only 101 more to go lol. Going to take a break from farming before I snap and have a mental breakdown.Ahh, griffons. Yeah, they're not aggressive, so they're not going to randomly attack you.
