@newschmoo - Well, I do understand wanting to play around in the CC, by getting past Grigori, with Rhys and your PS3 Arisen. LOL! Poor toons....we never think they are "quite right", or we turn them into the ridiculous. On purpose.

Thomas may not have as high of base magick, but he really is a quick draw as a Sorcerer. It's funny; a lot of people I think shy away from making Sorcerers Scather/??(Challenger, Utilitarian, Mitigator). But the quicker they start casting, the more likely they will get some good casts off. So definitely don't under sell your lovely Thomas. (not that you really would. heh!). He works great on pretty much any team I put him on.

@Aedan - I too have had some unexpected reactions to comments I have made, on DA:I. Tensions seem overly taut, and it is of the posters own makings. Ah well, whatever floats their boats. I have yet to put anyone on ignore, though I admit I have been tempted once or twice. In the end, I just walk away. At that point, the thread has usually headed down a path I wouldn't care to join in on, anyway. But you are always welcome here! The more the merrier.

I grabbed a couple snapshots yesterday, with team Ari/Castor. Had Zihark and Chase first, then switched to Thomas and Briana. Oh! And for only the second time ever, a Cursed Dragon failed to forge a single item on my Arisen (I had four pieces on her, that were not forged). I know I have been really lucky. I usually get all kinds of forging from CD's, so I was a bit in shock. Maybe since the Frostwyrm before it, had forged three items prior to the CD showing up, that game felt I "had enough". LOL!
Anyway....nothing very interesting in these shots, but everyone look's good. And remember, "It is better to look good, than to feel good.....and you know who you are." *smirk*

Sorry for all the "medicated" effects on the pawns. All of them were busy yapping at Ari..."Poison!" "I've been Poisoned!". yeah....they all seem to have been out of Mithirdate and Internvine. (btw, I highly suspect I misspelled both of those. Bah!)




And here is the other group. Castor once again, blocking out Chase. The feud has re-ignited. Bimbos.

So last night I made a new xbox account and started a new game. Such fun being so low level!!! BUT -- when I tried to make my account "official" by joining XBL and entering and email address, it kept saying it couldn't connect to XBL. Then it got stuck on the "safe" question (What was your first pet, etc.). So annoying. Anyway... I once again created a "pretty boy" Arisen, try as I might not to do so (I even used face 40!). And then for my pawn, I studiously used face 44 AND he has facial hair, yet to me he still came out looking a bit pretty LOL Also... a bit like Thomas >.> I should've gone with a different hairstyle, but this just seemed to fit him. Oh well; he's stuck with it for about 40 more levels lol

 

Pics soon, although I was hoping to give them some decent looking armor by renting them with my other account, but that'll be impossible without bloody XBL!

 

Also have to defeat AD with Rohan/Seel and then get Dai/Arya to infinity, but that should happen pretty quickly cause that pair carve through BBI like butter.

@Curious - Hmmm...not sure why XBL is giving you troubles setting up another account. I did use my husbands info (and an email address for him), just in case they balked at the same person having more than one account. Not sure if it is really a problem or not, but I figured I would kill two birds....blah,blah,blah. He still needed an XBL account (there is a game he is considering, that has some online components), and I didn't want to risk any hassle with having two XBL accounts under my name. Again, it probably shouldn't matter, so long as it is attached to a different email, but....*shrug*

LOL...yup, with the FB bit. I have to do that too. My biggest gripe, is that my FB account, is attached to one of my really long email addresses. I hate "typing" with a controller.

And YES, YES, YES!! Crap on a ******, that is annoying as all hell. About every other time I log on with my FlattestFlea account, they ask me for yet another email address. The bastards have two already, plus my damn cell. Bugger off! I usually just "B" button out of it, then use the main Xbox button on my controller to log in.

I have to say BioWare's way of syncing accounts to games and forums is a huge cluster**** waste of time. I just lost 50 minutes of my life logging into the original BW forum (Social.Bioware), made sure I had an EA/Origin ID all of that, registered my games and lo and behold nothing (as per usual) no DAO or DA2 icons or custom Warden character appearing, nothing that the site says has happened has happened. Meh this just isn't my week, or my century I need to get rid of my Suxbox and PC and start anew.

For the new forum, registering them alone, doesn't add them under your avatar, on this site. Use the following link, and follow step "L", to get DAO, DA2 and ME3 (if you have those registered already), to your profile. Those three games are the only ones that work on this site.

All right! Finally managed to get the account going on XBL! But now... for some reason... I'm unable to hire my new pawn I got him up to level 5. But when I go to my usual account and play as Rohan, my new account doesn't even show up in my list of friends (even though I am definitely friends with my new account).

 

Does a pawn have to be even higher than level 5 before s/he can be hired??

UPDATE: My new Arisen, Kael, can hire Seel. But Rohan can't hire my new pawn, Kelly. My new account STILL does not show up under my old account's list of friends in the Rift.

Thanks for making me smile in the gym at that quip about my gamertag I only sent a FR to coldy b/c I couldn't remember of Shepenwepet was capitalized or not. Then I got bogged down with the whole "why can't I hire my own pawn" crap. That last about... oh, two hours. Then I got fed up with life in general and went to the gym.

 

Soon as we get to Gran Soren he's getting a makeover, FYI. Different hairstyle and facial hair. Also, is it just me or does he have tiny eyes. GRRRR I will NOT rush through the game just so I can enter the CC again! I will NOT!!!

 

Also while switching back and forth I once accidentally switched back to my Arya/Dai playthrough, and I was confused for a second, but then I was like, awww, my babies!! Mama missed you!!! Have to get those two sillies to infinity!

 

Btw, Seel is my magic boy, Arya is my warrior Amazon, and Kelly is going to be my jack of all trades. Going to switch classes every ten levels. What y'all think?

@Curious - I am trying to remember if there was some weird delay with my "coldwetn0se" friend request, to my FlattestFlea account. Can't remember. In the meantime though, you should be able to manually pull him up from the rift, using your new Gamertag in the search menu (inside the Rift).

@Shepen - That is a smashing new belt Zi has. Who wants some shrunken cat head, when you can have a full-size man's head.

@Aedan - I don't personally mind if you post pics of your Warden(s). Just keep them under "spoiler" tags, and I doubt think anyone will get bent out of shape....I don't think. *shrug*

Sorry to read that you are done with DD:DA though. At least until you get a new controller.

Only did a quick jaunt in DD last night. Working out of the home office most this week, so not able to get away with goofing off.

Picked up Nicholas and our latest play-thing, Kelly. Like I said, didn't do much, but we did spend some time down the well, and just outside of Cassardis.

@Kaidan Fan - This is definitely a good time to take advantage of switching up his vocations, while he is still under level 100. You gain the most stat increases before 100. Speaking of switching vocations, I am going to switching Castor around a lot, for a while. I am trying to DF a few things, and still hoping to the Sanguine Stalk. I will leave him as a Ranger while I DF Bitter's End, and (fingers cross), if I get a new shield from those lvl.2 weapons, I have been sitting on. I got Dragon's Bane DFed a few days ago....once I remembered to equip it to my Assassin. Also have some armor to DF. Once that is taken care of, I will have Castor set as a Sorcerer for a number of levels.

I probably won't get a chance to play tonight, I just got home and remembered I had to download The Wolf Among Us, which with my stupid stone age internet will probably take the better part of the night. And then I will have to PLAY it, which from what I hear should take a lot less time than downloading it.

 

The next time I get on I shall gift a bunch of stuff to repay the fae-silver plates and phantom orbs. I'm post-daimon with both characters trying to get Moony (and Shimmery) Saurians to spawn in the Black Abbey. So far no luck.

 

If Castor doesn't have a sanguine stalk by the time I get on, I'll gift him a level 3 weapon. I still have Kelly, last I saw he was climbing on Poisoned Undeads.

 

And if anyone would like to gift Zi some level 2 armors, I'm trying to get a Dragonwing Circlet, as apparently my quest has glitched and can no longer be completed. (The target circle doesn't even show up, I have no idea which tablet I missed, only that it's not the one in the Dark Bishop room because I was sure to get that one, and that's it's not the final one. Or any of the ones that are in your face as you progress, like the one in the Fortress of Remembrance. Seriously, I had them all. I JUST WANT SOME WINGS ON MY EARS.)

Question, how long typically does it take to transfer stuff between Zi and Shinon, or Castor and Chase? Seel gifted Kelly some stuff like two days ago and it still hasn't come through. But I got loads of awesome stuff from, I think, Castor, and I bet Coldy didn't rent Kelly before I did!

I had a lot of trouble at first gifting stuff between Shinon and Zihark, it wouldn't arrive for days, and when it finally did, it was a rock. That may have been due to me accidentally loading from the HD instead of the usb, which I have since stopped doing because I don't want to lose anything else.

 

I now get stuff pretty much as soon as I switch over. Just release Kelly, rest at the inn right after to update the servers, then quit. If your gear still doesn't show up, there's not much you can do but wait and curse Capcom's server fairies.

 

edit: there's an item Zi needs and I can't remember what it is. Perhaps an Idol of the All-Mother? Don't gift that until I check, though. Those puppies are rare.

Man, I'm pretty sure I did all that... released him and rested, etc. etc. I'm gonna be p!ssed if I lost all that stuff I sent him. It was good stuff... stuff I figured I could just trade back and forth between my pawns. Oh well.

I bookmarked that site. Thanks for the link   I will probably start switching him around soon as I finish getting all the fighter augments for my Arisen because that's when I plan on switching her up some too
