I haven't played for a couple of days, but I will a little later. I am trying to put myself off watching last night's Game of Thrones. I don't think I can bear it :-( !

@Shepenwepet
Capcom should hire you for the promotional images of the next game. Many of your shots are quite professional and you don't even have free reign of the camera. Oh God, that Rook image...
Why thank you! Really, though, I am but a tiny fish in a giant ocean. Some of the stuff on the pawn community is jaw-droppingly amazing. Some of the stuff that's there, I have no flippin' idea how it's captured.
Me and my little Zio running around with Briana and Seel.
It's a long shot, but... that wouldn't happen to be a reference to this fella, would it?

For some reason, the scene didn't really affect me... I mean, other than the fact that I was upset that said character did, in fact, die. (I though he would not... I haven't read the books).
And the horrified scream of another character also tugged at my heartstrings ![]()

Okay, I did play with Nicholas some today (I missed him). Like 6 people used him. I was so happy to see him getting used! I got a few cursed items but I don't recall who gave what. He got some unicorn looking helmet. I put it on him. He looks ridiculous! I love it!
. I got Hellfire arm thingies and a staff with a sun on the end of it? I don't even know the names of stuff, lol. Then a couple people whos names I don't recognize rented him and person with the game name Rael gave him 5 stars, a golden egg (what is that even for??) and a comment that said he was an invaluable asset. I smiled so big!
(Good boy, Nick
)
I don't think I can thank all of you enough for the stuff you are teaching about this game. But: thank you! ![]()
Edit: Also @ shepenwet -don't laugh- Zio is just Ezio without the E. I adore Ezio
So i named my fighter for him but took the E off just so he would kinda sorta be his own guy (if that makes sense, lol).

Zihark is not available at the moment, as he has undergone several surgeries to temporarily become someone else.
This was before the surgery, after he'd bought the wig he needed. He only had enough money for one white contact, though. His master has since given him his weekly allowance.
And after the surgery. He's still learning how to stop grinning like an idiot.
He is now indistinguishable from the original.

AHHH Feels so good to be an assassin again! I won't say I got good shots, but hey, I got... shots.
So tonight, on the quest to take down Awakened Damon, I carefully selected my team and pretty much ended up with Team Prettier Than You.
Briana had taken her meds and so was on point as usual:
Alynna, not so much. I think she's trying to remember if she filed her state taxes in this shot:
She pulled it together though.
Seel hasn't been a ranger for awhile, and it showed:
So anyway... made it all the way to the Fallen City, then spent an eternity killing Eliminators, or rather, hopping from spot to spot to avoid the wyverns' spells while the pawns took their sweet a$$ time killing the Eliminators. Dispatched the wyverns, then spent about 20 minutes killing just ONE of these guys:
No magic users in the party (I felt they would do poorly against AD), so all I could do was equip Heaven's Key and hit Masterful Kill over and over again. Well, after 20 minutes of this, I didn't have the stamina to take down too more, and THEN approach AD, so I called it quits for the night.
I plan to re-lighten and dye my hair tomorrow, so I'll be hanging around the house for a good bit. Perhaps I'll finally get to try to fight this guy??
Oh, btw, Shep, thanks for the Daimon's Claw
Hopefully about to pick up another one... lol! We shall see. I'm actually still really nervous...

But my heart and mind says, put that first attempt (of the Zi to Shinon transformation), on the bloody server!!
Lol, will do tonight. I call him Shihark, and his safe name is Sprinkles.
"Wait. WAIT. Oh shoot. I told Barnaby I'd meet him in the old miner's hut by the quarry like three hours ago! I hope he's okay!"

P.S. IGN lists 17 "secret E3 games" over the course of 3 days. Maybe DD2 is one of those? *crosses fingers*
I played a bit last night. FINALLY found that stupid snakeskin purse....or rather Briana did, lol. A few more kill x number of this and that and I should be able to finally talk to the duke!

I didn't see this yesterday, oops! You can go ahead and talk to the Duke whenever, if you want. I know Ser Max makes it sound rather final when he says you have to finish all outstanding business, but he just means the wyrm hunt quests, it wasn't really made very clear there. Your eradication quests and all other sidequests will still remain in your quest log. I actually thought the same thing my first playthrough and tried to do just about every quest I had before I went to see the Duke.
In other news, we finally made it to Bloodwater Beach last night. And we discovered why exactly it is called Bloodwater Beach.

Spoiler
I had that happen once, where I had no magic users, and no way to actually kill the living armor guarding the doors. I ended up running behind/around them to the Rift stone. They gave chase at first, then I must have crossed some invisible line in the sand, because they went back to where they had been standing before. I was effectively able to just sneak up behind them. Instead, I just went in to fight Daimon.
Maybe you could do the same?

Okay, shepen, I think you are right. I will go talk to the duke today. I hit 60 last night (omg, from 59 to 60 felt like it took forevah!). Couple more skills from warrior and I'm going strider to finish that vocation up

Just a quick heads up. If you always use "infinity" pawns, your experience points are less per enemy. If you want to boost your experience points (without using experience boosting items, which can get annoying, at least to me...LOL!), just run a few quests with a pawn or two at your same level or lower. If you reach a quest that is causing you problems, then you can always grab one of the higher ranked pawns, just to get through that particular quest. BBI is another beast altogether. Play it however you wish, but if you are too scared to go through the different rooms, for the first time, nothing wrong with grabbing a couple of the maxed out pawns for a little security. LOL! I know I did.
Anyway, if you are not concerned with leveling up (this can be helpful when you are trying to max out vocations, without leveling up to quickly), then don't worry about. Just have fun, and use whichever pawns you like.

I was thinking about doing something similar to this... maybe quickly running past them, then actually entering the Rift?? When I come back out, they might be reset... and won't chase me. I'm going to try that tonight ![]()

Thanks @Curious Artemis! I think I did accept your friend request the other day and saw your hunky warrior in the rift. When I switch to strider I will probably be using him and my sons warrior to fill that spot. Did I mention that Kelly is hunky? Yeah...he is. ![]()
