This is off topic but I urge everyone to check out the videos for No Man's Sky on YouTube. It looks amazing if this game can deliver on even half of its promises it could change gaming in a big way. They have a couple dev interviews that are definitely worth checking out.

I thought it looked really good. I'm sure somebody said it was single player only. And they said it would be a different experience for each player.

Lots of really amazing games coming out (I squeed a bit when Uncharted 4 came on). But Valiant Hearts just gave me real big feels!

All the big gains happen before level 100, after that, if you find they're lacking in a stat...

 

Ranger and Warrior both give 2 attack,

Fighter gives 3 defense, Warrior gives 2

Magic and magic defense are obviously found in Mage and Sorcerer, with sorcerer having 3 attack and 1 defense, and mage having 2 points in each.

 

It all depends on your pawn, really. If you had a mostly magical pawn up to level 100, your best bet for balance would be to switch between Warrior, Fighter or Ranger for the remainder, depending on which stats you want to beef up. My Zihark is around level 114, and he's sorely lacking in physical defense, so I'm going to keep him as a fighter until I get sick of it, which is probably even before he goes up a single level.  

 

If your pawn is well-rounded going into level 100, it's worth noting that strider gives 1 point across the board, so if you're not torn up about not being super powerful or you just hate swapping vocations, strider will keep you that way.  Ranger is only lacking points in Magic Attack, which makes it a better choice if your pawn is already magically gifted.

 

As for how many levels in each vocation, look at how many levels you have left to go and what points you can get from level-ups, and plan accordingly, if you so choose. You should know that with endgame equipment, it doesn't really matter what your base stats are, everything balances out on its own. The only way you could have a lopsided pawn is to keep them in one vocation for the duration.

A bunch of us on the Pawn Community have already sent messages to Capcom about it. But considering this happened before and it took them around two months to get it fixed...

After months of killing Ur Daimon over and over again, I finally have a Carrion Mantle with the health regen enhancement! I am officially done outfitting my Arisen and pawn

So, Frosty has a new look, and Newschmoo can look forward to more RC and perhaps some lvl 3 Bitterblack Armors in his future.

Seriously? This has happened before? I must have been in my Oblivion/Skyrim phase when it happened the last time.

 

Before February, the Share button would take daily vacations. For me, it was from 7:00 PM-9:00 PM every night, moreso on weekends. The button would stay greyed out, or it would light up but have issues connecting to FB.  Since then, the Pawn Community adjusted the way they post and pull photos from FB, and it fixed the issue.

 

At any rate, Capcom should know about the problem now. Hopefully they look into fixing it sometime soon.

So troubles with the "Share" button again.

I have been sick since Monday. Thought I might beat it (was on the zinc and vitamin c quicker than you can say Ur_Dragon), but alas. It got me. *melodramatically grabs at chest* I haven't played anything since. My brain is fuzzy....so is my tongue.

If I am feeling a little better after my nap, I may play for a bit. Though, without the "Share" button, I will probably just play around with Ari (since she is set for MK right now...no glamour shots for her. )

@Shepen - so looking forward to the next report....have I mentioned that before?

@newschmoo, CENIC and Stormheart - I have been extremely negligent with my PS3 play through. Once I feel up to really playing, I will spend a little time over there, with all your lovely pawns. Poor F!Chase. She gets so ignored.

Sharing is somewhat fixed. It's back to how it used to be last year, when the button would only work when it wanted to. I'm hoping the kinks will be worked out soon, I'm already missing shots because the button won't light up or "Content could not be shared."

 

Grr, argh. I thought we were past this.

I feel like I'm missing something here. I've never watched Buffy, unless you count the movie made in like....'93? I'm aware the TV show was a thing, but other than that, I've never seen it. I think the only thing I've seen with Sarah Michelle Gellar in it was the video for Sour Girl by the Stone Temple Pilots.

After awhile you get stuck. You just get too used to their current look and can't change anything. I can't even really change my Arisens anymore!

And thanks for the cursed weapons you and @Cenic have given me (very generous) because I have purified them. I got the Darkening Storm bow, the Sanguine Stalk and Framae Blades! I have been after these kind of items for my Xbox play through for ages but have never been lucky. First time on PS3!

Must confess I have still been distracted by E3 (wish i was there) and a bit by the World Cup too.

So tonight Kael and company met a griffon that was terrorizing some hapless guardsfolk. Shinon and Kelly fought admirably, but Seel for some reason decided to pick up a goblin corpse and carry it around for the remainder of the battle:

Fairly certain we can ascertain why he did it, but since that is meant to be the first encounter, I find it funny that he would choose to haul the body around at that point. Goes to show you, that the AI isn't necessarily set up with flag triggers for specific content only.

I am starting to feel better. Did a bit of housework, and got a tad tired, but I'm definitely on the mend. Hoping to play a bit today. (yay!)

Well, he didn't run off to try and use it as bait or anything, so who knows! I'm thinking maybe he was holding it so that someone would "strike the killing blow" and then for some reason, after it died, just didn't put it down? LOL I have no idea. I just know he did absolutely squat throughout that entire fight. Just lugged his dead goblin around. Silly billy pawn.
