Thomas had a little too much Dose of Courage there I see!

 

Oh my, don't get me excited!! Okay I'm going pairing crazy now. I like Arya x Thomas, but that pic reminds me of how cute her crush on Shinon is. But frankly I can't really ship Shinon with anyone except his own reflection. Arya x Chase but Chase is still stuck on Gabs. But I do like that one. Arya x Zihark, she says he's too young and pretty. Arya x Castor, I bet she stutters around him  Arya x Iorveth, nah, not feeling it. 

 

Secret confession: always loved Seel x Thomas. Thomas is so shy and sweet while Seel is so outrageous. He doesn't seem to bother Thomas much though; I think he thinks he's cute  Seel x Shinon, nah, they're bros. Seel x Chase, well I see that as fairly one-sided, as in, completely one-sided Seel x Gabs, he wishes. Seel x Briana, she's like a big sister to him (he did copy her hair after all). Seel talks a big talk but the romantic side stays hidden; hence why I like Seel x Thomas

 

So, right, I ship both my pawns with Thomas and maybe also kinda myself. 

 

Oh I want to add, I'm on pins and needles over the Mystery of Carcharoth!!! Where is the big guy?! What happened to him? Did he really shatter that riftstone?! p.s. I love how jealous Barnaby got

I never really thought about that, and it occurred to me they don't have that many interactions, despite being in the same 4-person group in part 7. That will be rectified in the next ep. Arya may have jumped ahead in the race for Thomas, but Seel's not a quitter.

I actually had someone in mind for Seel, I have to see how things progress though. It's not the obvious choice, but I think it'll work.

Bits of 9 got rewritten a bunch of times, I'm still not happy with the rushed ending, I just wanted to move on, I was having computer issues and all that. Part 10 will be shorter. I might have periodic "updates" during the gap regarding Castor and Zihark looking for help.

I have several ideas here. He'll be popping up soon in one form or another.

It's entirely possible I've bitten off more than I can chew regarding all the characters. It's not so much the writing, it's the pics. I simply can't get a pic of 4 arisens at once unless someone alters their pawn, and at the rate I need them switched around on 'photo day' will have folks tearing their hair out. I'll have to be a lot better when planning out what photos I need, because I missed about seven I could have used in the last ep.

There may be a request in the coming weeks to switch out everyone's pawn for the arisen, but we'll see.

I have ideas in this area, Some just aren't going to work, no matter how many times I smoosh them together on the dock  try to steer them along. I can say with confidence that Shinon will remain alone, for reasons Curious has already stated. The rest? Well... 

 

 

 

Well I changed Gaira (SadeLeamonde) to "friends only", some level 99 retard felt it was necessary to continually rent my pawn only to toss him into the brine or kill him or whatever; excessive 3-star ratings, zero gifts and no comments even AFTER the first two incidents which could have been accidents -- cos' you know it happens sometimes when fighting Cyclopses, Ogres, harpies, etc near a cliff or an edge. 

 

It's been my experience that randoms do this. It could be Death, though, which is actually quite common and pretty much unavoidable if you choose to fight rather than run away. If a pawn is scythed, they're returned with three stars and no gifts. When I see that in my window, I assume it's Death. I have once or twice when I'm in a hurry released a random with three stars and no gifts (or five stars and an airtight flask) so I can understand why people intentionally do it.

Keep him on "friends only" until you've jacked his score up to 5 stars again Then put him back out there. All my pawns are available to non-friends; I just prefer it that way, knowing they're out in the world, adventuring, meeting new people... Getting 3 stars repeatedly really hurts, though, so I understand. But then sometimes you get 5 starts and a lvl 2 cursed item from someone you don't know and will probably never know, and that's a really sweet feeling

Take your time on Part 10; in a few days Kelly will be post-game, so that's two pawns I'll be able to morph into various Arisens if you need them.

So yay, I made it to post-game! And immediately re-entered the CC. I didn't change my Arisen b/c, shock of shockers, I'm happy with him. But Kelly  ... I just can't decide on anything. I'm at the stage where I don't like how he looks, but I'm used to how he looks, so it's hard to change too much. It probably helps to have a personality in mind because then you can use the CC to make that personality shine. (I feel the faces of Briana, Carcharoth, and Shinon do this the best.) Anyway, I rather originally envisioned him to be the overly serious cautious warrior type, but lately I've been getting dorky lunkhead vibes... sigh. But the bright hair isn't working imo, and the smirk isn't noticeable... we may go back in the opposite direction towards darker hair and a more serious expression. But then he seems boring to me. 

 

I wish there were a good deep voice. There's a "decent" one in Japanese, but it's horri-bad in English. I can see why Coldy ultimately ditched the deep voice for Castor and went back to the generic voice all our guys have

Do what I did, lose your notes. Really, though, once when I swapped Zi out for someone, I could have sworn I wrote his numbers down... but I couldn't find them so I had to build him from scratch. I ended up with a face I liked better than the original.

I'm gonna turn it on and play in CC again for a bit. I also need to fix Kelly's stance since it looks like he's trying to do a back bend. It could be the name's holding me back, too... Kelly is from Kelly Murrey, a character of mine. All my DD characters are based on my own characters, but end up morphing into something different. Somehow Dai, a thoughtful, mature young man transformed into a sadistic teenager, and Seel, a kind and ethereal faerie, became a wannabe sexbot. Oh and Rohan is also a faerie, Seel's nephew, actually, but in DD he's a total dudebro with the face of a Final Fantasy hero. 

 

It is sad that these are way more interesting than the actual characters...

YES! Ser Berne is his name.  Although I did finish Valamiros quests last night (I'd never done them before) and it was quite the sweet scene after.  I doubt Berne gets anything like that   My beloved from my first play through was Jerome (I think that's his name).  He had no special scene either   I gave that bond thingie to Berne so I think that means I can make as many people as I want to like me and it will still be him that shows up?

 

I haven't read any of the report stuff because I'm a slacker and still haven't done most of bbi.  I finally bought that dragonwing thing for my Arisens head but when I tried to take a pic it wouldn't upload to facebook.  After 3 tries I gave up.

 

I've loved all the pictures you guys have been sharing though I have been skipping some that I thought might be related to the report and might spoil stuffs for me.

NO!!! Your "Beloved" will be the LAST person you gained max affinity with. To get Ser Berne, before the final quest, just beat up anyone else who has max affinity with you until their affinity drops. Then do the same to Berne... then re-max his affinity LOL

 

EDIT: Or just do your best to keep everyone else's affinity down. I constantly flash my blades at people and also run into them, especially Madeleine, various shopkeepers and innkeepers, Ser Max, Ser Mercedes, and I avoid Aelinore's entire quest.

He will then be the last person you maxed affinity with, and will be your Beloved.

Okay, I will try this.  But first I must finish every. single. quest.   I haven't even done the last quest the guy gives you from the Dukes castle or whatever because I wanted to finish all the side stuffs up.  Maybe I should look them up and see if some of them are actually carried over to the next act.  I try not to read too much on them so I can figure them out on my own but I seem to be having a hard time on the order of things in this game even though I've finished it once already.  I missed out on a lot the first time around though.

Julien's post-game romance speech was pretty sweet He doesn't know what to do with himself now that he's no longer really a knight, and I get the sense he's not overly thrilled to be living in the Arisen's little squalid house now But he admires the Arisen's strength and purpose. Oh and I listened to his voice briefly in English and OH MY GAWWWWD I almost killed him it was so bad

You do get benefits... unlimited ferrystones, for instance, if you had the base game. Not sure if you Arisen/pawn will transfer over though?? I only have DD: DA.
