Well I too got on DD yesterday. Not sure what sort of curse has been going on with peoples Xbox/DD experiences, but the only way I could get the damn thing to play, was if I turned off the Xbox, "ejected" the disktray, pushed the disktray back in, and let it immediately start up. If I don't do that (and just try and click on the game from the Xbox main menu), it just brings of a black screen, that I can't exit out of unless I turn the damn Xbox off.

I guess this was happening to a lot of folks, I think it's fixed now, at least the service alert on the website is no longer there. The repairs sadly did not address the 0x83950001 error code deluge, and I haven't gotten a reply from Xbox support (I'm not expecting one - there are piles of error reports there that have gone unanswered.) Capcom got back to me with their standard "we have received your inquiry", it was all in Japanese, I had to use Google translate. So not expecting big things there either. Thankfully, it's not nearly as bad as it was Saturday night. A few hiccups here and there, but I haven't lost a shot yet.

I might get started on report 10 tonight, finally. Feel free to toss out suggestions, or just post as you normally do, during which I will pull innocuous things from your posts and use them for my twisted schemes tale.

 

 

 

I played a lot yesterday, but Dai's MA and I can't handle the poor quality of non-Lyncean Sight photos these days

 

I want Kalethai to have SOME defense, but I can't seem to switch her out of Assassin. Damn that Lyncean Sight.

Which pawns of yours are you actively using? We can toss a few blessed flowers their way to speed up the process if you're so inclined. Just don't fight cursed dragons with 'em... they'll wilt from their rotten breath.

I simply can't get a pic of 4 arisens at once unless someone alters their pawn, and at the rate I need them switched around on 'photo day' will have folks tearing their hair out.

I made an alt to help with this. Jormungandr42. The pawn looks like my original arisen. Hope it helps with your project.

Edit: I totally forgot what I came here to post in the first place, which is this: I just hired Gaira, I'm gonna drag him around a bit and then send him home with a blessed flower. If you have the gold, (180,000) forge it right away. They wilt after a day of game time, so store it if you're not gonna use it for a while.

 

I'm also torn between two Ziharks. I was looking at Alynna's pawn hire history and found level 114 Zihark, who looked like this, and is now my current Zi.

I love them both!  But I am leaning towards the top ones eyes.  They look so intense.

@Kaidan Fan - Blessed Flowers are a special item that grants weal (double experience points) like the veteran's periapt and pilgrim's charm, only instead of five minutes, the effect lasts one in-game day.

 

Huh. If time doesn't pass on BBI... what happens? How long does it last? ...I just checked. folks are saying it lasts from 30 minutes to an hour. Which doesn't seem right, but maybe it is, I never really took notice how long it took to go from day to night in game.

 

 

There, I sent Gaira back with a flower and a BBI Level 3 Armor. I lost Castor to Death on the way back, but rehired him and sent him back properly rated. I'm now curious if it averages the three- and five-star ratings or just takes the last one.

Thanks for the Boots of Shadow! So far I've gone up one level using the flower, my DP however has been going up like crazy thanks to the dual Asura armors no doubt. I just wish I could get back to my near level 200 state I was last year

 

Patience, grasshopper! It's funny, Kelly and Kael are flying up through levels but I play Dai and Arya for two hours and they maybe inch up one level. *grumble*

You know, I have never used a Blessed flower or any of the other "weal" granting items. I may need to start using said items, for Ari and Castor. Thanks for mentioning these things in this thread. Running around the Everfall with lower level pawns help, but I start missing BBI, and I feel bad when I lose low level pawns in BBI. I dunno why....I just do. It's probably because they aren't always one of our little band of merry bobbleheads (though I have used Aedan's pawns and Kelly for this purpose, so it is easy to get them back from the rift).

Last night I knocked around with a couple of pawns, whose arisen's had hired Castor. Just went around the Everfall a bit, then sent them on their way; gifts and ratings in hand. I am in the process of trying to go up a few levels with Ari as a Sorcerer, but it is slow going (hence my mention of using weal granting items).

I did take a few snaps, but it was mostly to see if the "Share" button was working. Which it was.....when it felt like it.

I have come to the conclusion that Ari consistently looks aghast. Even when I have changed a few things in the CC. Course, that could have something to do with the fact, I rarely change the mouth. Hmmm.....


If only this picture wasn't so dark, it would look like an album cover for a boy band.


Umm....yeah. Tried to get all three of them to do something (picking up and clicking on them, etc..), but then the lighting would be bad. So, end result; bad picture is bad.


Better lighting, at least. *shrug*

Hopefully today will be better with the Share button. Taking the team to fight Ur offline first (so no pics), but then I will go online. Been a while since I have put in time, with the online Ur-Dragon. Could be fun.

Sorry for spamming .

I am waiting on a contractor, that is running behind, so I went ahead and fired up the game. Took out the offline Ur-Dragon and went through the Chamber of Hope, while under the effects of the Pilgrim's charm (well, used a Martyr Charm, once I hit the Chamber of Hope). Went up two levels (actually about 1.3, technically, since I wasn't that far from leveling up before I started the Ur-Dragon fight). Might be addicted to these damn things. Since I have all vocations leveled, and I'm well past the first 100 levels, there is no need to "force slow" the rate of level up. So bring on the XP, baby!

As for new pictures, was running offline for a bit (for the Ur), but now my stupid internet is causing troubles. *shakes fist*. I'm still running Sorcerer as well, so I might not get any great photo ops, as it is.

But loving the weal....oh yes!

by the way, I forgot how easy it was to kill the offline Ur, with a Sorcerer. Stack some Demon Periapts, cast Holy Affinity on your Arisen, and spamm the basic attack. bye-bye Uri.

Managed to grab a couple of shots; nothing terribly interesting. (and went up two more levels, in a mater of about 20 minutes...the cursed dragon helped. )

For me, I was just being gun-shy. Ari seems to be made of glass, when she plays Sorcerer (maybe it has to do with the fact, that I am not always good at finding a safe/tactical position to attack from *rubs chin in contemplation* ). I end up putting her in the best gear I have. However, I will put on unforged items, when fighting in the Everfall, and taking on the offline Ur-Dragon. This time, I just....ummm....forgot.

So the "Share" button, continued it's nasty disposition, and I only got two more shots (plus, all the lighting was crap....Damn I miss Lycean Sight ).

Right!! Sorry, that was a little unclear And yeah! Thought I'd try those as well, but at present I only have a drake's tear and wyrm's tear. If you happen to be on and remember to send Kelly back with a wyvern's tear that would be awesome, but I don't doubt Dai/Arya have one as well. It's just a matter of me remembering to play them and then Kael/Kelly; I usually only play one pair a night.

 

And it's funny how you find stuff you never found on previous playthroughs; I picked up TWO royal cuirasses, a "boot" I'd never seen before in either of my previous playthroughs. I think they'll look great on Seel, especially with the carrion mantle Methinks Kelly can rock them as well. 

 

OH! I'm playing mystic knight for the first time and it's pretty fun!!! Only thing I don't like is how Kael's arms clip into his massive shield when he runs. But it's great finally being able to DF some of the stuff I would like Kelly to wear as warrior/fighter. I really should play sorcerer a bit longer, but I figure I'll switch between the two. It's pretty fun creating a balanced Arisen. Very different from puny magick boy Dai and super strong assassin boy but can't cast a single spell Rohan lol

So something rather freaky happened the last time I played. I was going back and forth on which ZIhark to stick with (I did eventually decide on the "intense" one.) I figured instead of making a decision I'd play Alynna's game for a bit. As soon as I loaded up, I was in the Pawn Guild, and the first thing spoken was Shinon saying "Sara's like to have gathered her thoughts by now." It took me like ten minutes to realize he was talking about Pip's mom.

 

...Or was he?

Yup! I am trying to up Ari's magick a bit more than I bothered with Ulee. Adding all the magick bonus equipment (and using periapts), when I play Ulee as a MA or MK, works just fine, but she is also level infinity. I don't need to have her wear the level 3 BBI gear, to keep her "safe". Still, it is nice having a better built Arisen....I spend all my time fussing with Castor and Chase (building them, that is), but sort of forget about my Arisen's. lol!

BTW, I have Kelly with me right now, I will send him home with a Wyvern's tear, as soon as we take out the Offline Ur-Dragon again....just one more level to go!
