I'm sure it's just a temporary thing. I had no trouble summoning pawns into the rift, despite it repeatedly saying the same error. I couldn't connect to the server when I rested, though. I wonder if the mess of gear I gave out last night is now toast.
I had an XBL update today before I started, I wonder if that had anything to do with it or it's just something on the DD end of things.

Well I did some grinding last night im already back up to level 40! Almost half way there in 12 hours played 
Although good gear and an awesome party do help a lot! 
Also one thing I am desperately needing if you guys have a good reserve. Wakestones! I may be doing well, but one hit by one of the big guys and im out like a light

I watched that Sony conference in Japan the other night. Stayed up until 3 am to see it. And only parts of it were translated to english. My son told me there were rumors capcom would announce DD2 then. All they had was "REMASTERED RESIDENT EVIL." I cried a bit.
If anyone on Xbox could get the shop trick described here to work, let me know. It was done on the PS3 version, and going by how simple the instructions are, my half hour of attempting this is making it appear to me that it is PS3-only. Maybe a PS3-er could try to see how easy it is? It sounds like it should take all of one minute to do. Certainly not half an hour.
I've tried at Camellia's, Caxton's and the Black Cat. No luck.
Huh, I'll give it a try later tonight. But if you can't do it, I seriously doubt I can!

Yeah, I bet. Haven't seen much about that lately.
I keep seeing articles that say "DD2 confirmed!" and then they go on about the same year-old article about how Itsuno wants to make DD2. Or they say "someone at Gamefaqs" confirmed it. Seriously? Someone at Gamefaqs? That's your source?
The last I heard, Capcom had "no concrete plans" for DD2. Or they're all liars and it's already in production. Which would be nice but I'm not holding my breath.

Yeah, I got it working. It's to get inside shops in Gran Soren.
It involves clipping through barrels, which is not as easy as it sounds when your pawns love to break them. Considering how finicky the method is, I wonder how it was even discovered. It felt like it really wasn't going to work for me for quite a while. Then it did. I didn't do anything differently, it just happened.

Well lazy Sunday... and I grinded out to lvl 64 in around 30 hours playtime 
With that overkill though I think I need a few days breather. Thankfully Destiny will eat up a lot of my time over the next few weeks so I think Im in a nice position. So awesome to have the old team looking close to their former selves!
I sooo want to try that. I didn't get a chance to try it on the PS3 anyway (sister came in to town). Glad to see that it worked on the Xbox anyway.

I hadn't had a chance to play much during the week myself, just the weekend. I assume we lost some people to Destiny, or you're burned out on the ol' DD. I'm seriously still waiting for that to happen to me.
I actually just started a new ME playthrough, hence the lack of DD playing from me. I had gotten depressed over the whole DAI romance situation and replaying through ME is helping me deal. (And so will the new Alienware I plan to buy...) Still have lots of leveling up to do with Kelly.
If you can't win them over by throwing fish at them, they're not worth it. I haven't really been keeping up with DAI news, aside from seeing a bit about Skyhold the other day, which is scratching several of my itches. Yeah, I want that.
I'm hearing the LI situation is a bit lopsided in my favor (I plan on playing a female elf, I always have when given the choice) but if it makes you feel any better, none of the "candidates" really interest me. And I'm staying the hell away from Blackwall. As they say, once bitten...

It's a bit of an unwritten rule on the Pawn Community that when someone rents your pawn and posts pics, you do the same for theirs. Which I was slacking greatly at because I enter the rift and see all of our boys and girls. Last week I decided I'd to right that wrong. Only on my main save, Zi's still bombing around with Castor and Thomas I think.

LOL I hear ya. Blackwall's the one I wanted. And before that, Cullen. They were the only two guys I wanted. And I was considering Solas, in case I couldn't have the first two. And you know I play m/m romances. So... you see how that went.
Regarding the pawn community, Oh okay I was wondering if you were tired of our guys and gals I should probably log into DD again just to set Kelly back as a fighter while I'm not playing; I think he's a mid-level strider at present *snort* About as useful as you might expect. I got Seel pretty kitted out though, so he should be good for random rentings while I'm not playing. I'm surprised how much he comes back with gifts and five stars, considering the way I dress him sometimes... *cough*

Cannae believe i missed this game, picked it up cheap other week soon as i played it i had to go purchase Dark Arisen, prob one of the best games i played in quite a few years tbh, has its flaws (mainly the pawns) but i've never felt so alive in combat as i do with this game, in my humble opinion if it had been released on pc with mod support like a elder scrolls game this could easily have been the best rpg of the last generation regardless of flaws, as is with its flaws i easily count this as the best game for me anyhow in nigh 5 year

You can shut them up, or at least quiet them down. Well, your own pawn, anyway. If you go to a knowledge chair and the question "I try to speak or remain silent as the situation demands. Would you have me continue in this way, Master?" pops up, select "no". The wording on the question is a little poorly chosen, but selecting "no" does lower the frequency in which they talk. I assume repeatedly doing this adds up (I've hit "yes" so many times my pawn rarely takes a breath anymore), but I'm not sure. I really should try this out. I always say I will and then I never do.
As for the armor pieces, good luck. If you're on Xbox, a bunch of us can toss you a few extras if it gets to a point where you just can't take purifying another hood of shadow.
