Whelp, I am still relegated to the PC. Rog is controlling the TV, with the PS3. @Shepen, let me know what you think of the PS4. We will eventually get both the xbone and ps4, but not at the same time. I am still torn. :/

At least I have Skyrim to amuse me. Really excited to add mods, just unsure what I should try out.

Once Rog gets pissed off at GT enough, I will be back on to DD? (trust me...that will eventually happen.

Aw, I'm going to lose all my fellow DD peeps to NextGen stuffs and I'll be over here with DD on 360 and everything else on PC. 

 

Will any of you be playing DAI on PC?  I'd love to have a few peoples to "try" MP with.  Do NOT expect me to be good.  I only do that sort of stuff for giggles.

Aye prob me, i thought i be hooked on Destiny for awhile after buying it, but tbh im a tad disappointed in it an consider it a waste of money, paid £45 for it got home installed it an first shock was to see they was already 2 dlc out if i wanted to pay a further £35, stuck the 2 fingers up at them an continued to try the vanilla game, good typical shooter  bit like halo, story crap, npc's crap, an seeing so much of the same environments over n over it puts DA2 in good stead.

 

Wish i just pre-ordered DA:I tbh

 

Ahh good to know; I was wondering about Destiny. It does just look like Halo, which was only fun when played with friends at a Halo Party... good times!

I didn't really have any interest in Destiny (even though it looks beautiful) because it was *another* mmo and seemed to be focused on mostly pvp (probably not the right word) type stuff which I'm not really into.  But I have seen others saying they were disappointed in the lack of story.  And I'm simply horrible at fp anything.  I lose my bearings, get dizzy.  I'm just awful!

 

Make sure to add me on Origin, Curious:  tina1468.  I'm keeping my fingers crossed that someone can figure out modding for Frostbite.  I imagine a lot of people will be trying.

 

I will probably be trying to get back on DD soon'ish.  But I will probably take a big break again towards the end of Oct.  Till the beginning of the year. 

 

Caladin: I don't know if I gave you my gt or even welcomed you. I'm sorry about that!  My Nicholas is a healer/supporter pawn at only level 67 (?).  But my gt is Tahirii if you want to give him a try.

 

Hopefully we all get to catch up again, soon!

Okay, log into your Origin thingie.  Once you open it there should be a little box to the left of your name that has the 2 heads thing on it, click on that, then you can just type my name in the search box tina1468.  Let me know if you need anymore help.  I just turned mine on and went online so you could see me.

Oh! you don't have the Origin game thingie.  If you go to the right of your name on the site it will say download Origin and then you can add me from that and it will keep all your games in that one place for you.

Okay, downloading now I will not be playing games on this laptop but I don't have my new PC yet so I'll just download it so I can add you. I think I remember downloading something like this when I played the sims a few years ago.

 

EDIT: Well, I downloaded it and went through the set-up, now I have to figure out where the heck it is!!!!

I, too, used to prefer consoles and do still enjoy my 360 from time to time but just won't be moving on to the NextGen (current gen)? stuff.

 

But this way if you get ME3 or DAI on your computer we can do the MP stuffs together!  (So long as you don't mind awful)!

Glad to see i'm not the only one who isn't head over heels for Destiny. I remember planning on buying it when it came out but as I stood there in the store with the case in my hand I just couldn't bring myself to approach the register. I simply stood there reading the game case over and over again and eventually put it back on the shelf. Walked around the store for a bit to see if anything else would catch my eye but nothing did. Then I kinda just wandered out. The guy at the counter was staring at me the whole time. No money for you!

A couple things that unnerve me about switching to PC... 1, I can't play games with a keyboard, I just can't. So I have to hope all games I'm interested in are compatible with the Microsoft controller. And 2... DD2!!! I will die if it actually does come out and I haven't bought an xbox one *sniffle* Also, imagine if half of us are on xbox and half are on PS4... and we can't use each other's pawns anymore

There's a chance that DD2 (if it ever comes around) will be a PS4 exclusive, as it sold much, much better on the PS3. I think there was a dev quote that said as much.

 

That would be a pretty big kick in the teeth for the XB1 folks, though, so I really hope that isn't the case. But I know that IF there is a DD2, it WILL be on PS4. That's one of the many reasons I went back home to playstation this gen.

 

The controller feels weird in my hands though. I don't like having the left analog stick near the center, I want it to be where the directional buttons are, where the left analog stick is on the 360 controller. I know this is how it's always been since the original Playstation, but the Xbox 360 controller just feels better.

Oh wow... That's something I definitely did not know. Well, in that case I'm glad I'm getting a PC, cause then if DD2 does come out I can decide which console to get then. Last time I played PS was PS2, so I'm definitely more comfortable with the xbox controller, but we shall see.

Well, I guess if I ever buy a newer generation console it will be playstation.  But atm I prefer my PC.  I love the k+m.  I feel like it actually helps with my aiming and gives more control.  But I do have all the AC games on my PC and much prefer the Xbox controller for them and never use the k+m. 

 

I'm curious if they do ever make a DD2 if they will try cross platform pawns this time.  It would be much more player friendly that way, imo.  So that we could all still use each others pawns.  I would miss them if I couldn't.

@Shepenwepet - congrats on getting the PS4.  

 

I chose to get the PS4 instead of the XB1 because for me it had better exclusive games that appealed to me more. You will get used to the controller.  I have to admit that I do prefer it a little bit over the Xbox 360 one (which in itself was a better controller than the PS3 one).   I am thenewschmoo (same as my Xbox GT) on Playstation if you want to add me.  I hope you enjoy TLOU.  Just avoid the Clickers!

 

 

I do like playing games on the PC too (cheaper games, faster loading + mods), but I too struggle a bit with K+M.  A lot more games have controller support (such as Skyrim, The Witcher 2 etc) and I know that DAI will have it too.  But I am getting a bit better with the K+M as you can only play DAO and DA2 using them!  It was a shame that DD never came out on the PC.  Just imagine what the modding community could have done to it, given the chance.

 

And lets hope that DD2 does come out on all platforms and that it will be cross gen so we can all use it each others pawns (with technology anything can happen *keeps fingers crossed*)   

 

Edit - does ME3 have controller support?  I have it on Origin and I know that ME and ME2 doesn't and I have to play those with K+M?
