EDIT: Well I got ninja'd three hours ago.

Wouldn't really qualify as a ninja, would it?

Here, have a random picture of Lil' Lynna and her mother, who doesn't currently have a name. (It's not Alynna. Well, it *is*, but... I didn't think this through.)

Gamertag: coldwetn0se
Pawn: Chase (female)/Ranger or Sorcerer/Mage (can't remember  )/Lvl 150+ (??)

*I do have snaps of this pawn, but they are buried deep within my PB library. However, my male Chase's Arisen, has looked liked her before....just image elf ears on this character. ;) *
cooty4_zps655caa9a.jpg

And a couple of random pawns shots for funsie...

Spoiler

And regarding the Ur-dragon. I concur with both @carcharoth and @shepenwepet. I can not stress enough though....PERIAPTS! Both Conquerer and Demon alike. (Former for strength based classes, and latter for magick based classes). And taking the bows away from Ranger/STrider pawns really does help. They will do much more damage wackadoodling on the Ur, with their daggers. ;)

Do not fight it for 18 hours straight long periods of time. Even if you have the time, that's a terrible idea. I don't know what sort of masochist would do something like that, but they are without a doubt incredibly handsome and charming crazy. Take a break every once in a while.

Ahahahaha You crack me up buddy

So I went to Cassardis to a purple circle on the map (this is after purchasing Dark Arisen).
Well nothing happened. I was hoping to start Bitterblack Isle.

Anyone know how to start the DLC?

Go to that purple circle at the Cassardis docks at night and talk to the strange girl waiting for you there.

Damn. Too late.

Thanks for the heads up. I've started the DLC.

I am curious about something.

Each of the classes have augments that can be used to buff up your character.

I want to take advantage of those, climbing up the ranks of all 9 classes and unlocking them so that I can pick and choose according to the situation.

However I want to be able to do this without levelling up my character? This is because I don't want to contribute lack luster stat gains to my character whilst I dabble with all 9 classes.

Do you know how to rack up class ranks and discipline points quickly without gaining much character experience? [This is probably not how to play the game properly, but given that I'm playing a Dual Wielding, Magick Archer, I want to pick and choose the best augments].

There is a way to do this easily in post-game, just head to the noble quarter and stand on a wall, then go for a walk or something while your pawns kill wave after wave of guards. Equip Asura Armor and/or a ring of perseverance to boost discipline points. Asura Armor is available from a quest in post-game, I believe, and you can probably buy it from the Black Cat. The Ring is in Bitterblack Isle. You're most likely not going to run across a ring until later.

Or you could just run around in Gransys killing goblins and stuff. Takes more time than the noble quarter, but you won't gain much experience.

If you haven't fought the Dragon yet then just run around fighting really weak enemies that give low experience points.

Wolves would work for this I think. They spawn continuously at night by Hillfigure Knoll and in southern Gransys where the bandits usually are.

There's also a healing spring in southern Gransys far to the west. You could just stand there and have your Pawns go ape **** on the goblins and ghosts that spawn in the area and not have to worry about dying. This might level you up though.

Southern Gransys is my favorite area in vanilla DD. Spent most of my time there because there's so many different enemies to fight. Goblins, chimeras, saurians, wolves, cyclopes, bandits, ghosts, a golem, and a drake. All of this in one large open area with a healing spring, a rest area and a merchant or two. Beautiful.

Thanks for the gamertag updates. There were a couple I was missing. makes sense that to have more characters you need more gamertags.

I had bit of a good run on some gear as well and Talia is kitted out a bit more. Although the white mask doesn't seem to go as well now with all the black and red equipment Sadly.

Still making zero headway on the ur Dragon. Although I can easily stomp daimons second form now. Yay!!

Those are my babies, Alynna and Lil' Lynna. Confined to Xbox, I'm afraid. But thank you!

If you're looking for feedback and rentals, definitely join the Pawn Community. There's a large PS3 community there, and they're all good people. Your rift crystals and board ranking will skyrocket (the latter will lead to more rentals because you will show up more often in others' worlds.) The Xbox pool is a bit smaller, but still just as passionate. One of the most popular posters there had actually hired one of your pawns - I noticed the Jslither ID when she posted a shot, so maybe you already joined?

I made some progress in The Report recently, although it's going to take a wee bit of mental gymnastics to work things out completely. I'm digging deep into backstories for people that I myself haven't created, which can get a bit... hard. For example, without getting too spoilery, you're going to find out why Briana is addicted to Nostalgia Dust. Perhaps Carcharoth had a much different reason in mind, so we'll have to go with the "this is in an alternate universe" explanation. Since it's Dragon's Dogma, that's actually quite reasonable.

I try to keep people in character as much as I can, but sometimes I just don't know how they'd react because they aren't mine. Do they buckle under pressure? If faced with something like Shinon dealt with in the Helix, would they lose it? Get angry? Just fall apart?

If I do have an "out of character" moment in the upcoming episode, do let me know, because it helps.

Well you could just ask us some vague questions and we could let you know how they'd react.

In general, Arya is very steady and will take deep calming breaths to prepare herself for battle, but she'll do it. Especially if a friend or loved one is in danger.

Seel is more likely to hem and haw and, um, perhaps suggest a less confrontational route? Like maybe one that doesn't involve messing up his hair and, you know, dying?

Stuff like that :P

I need to re-read to remember what happened to Shinon in the Helix. Something about a doppelganger Alynna? I vaguely remember. You should let us know a couple days before the report comes out so we can re-read previous ones :P

My favorite is the Rotunda of Dread (non-vanilla DD but yeah). You never know what you will find!!! A posse of ogres? Cyclopes? Wyrms? A metal golem when you happen to be a magick archer? Okay yeah that last one blows but you know what I mean.

Shinon found Alynna dead in a cell with an arrow in her throat, and then met with his corrupted self minutes later, assuming he was the one that killed her. (Did he, though...?)

Tsk tsk, you talk like it's been months since I last updated.  But yes, I will give you a heads up.

So I guess what I'm asking is...what would truly rattle your pawns? What would get under their skin? "Messing with my arisen" is, I'm sure, #1 on every pawn's list, but is there anything else? (There doesn't need to be, I'm just curious.)

Ohhh riiiiight! I remember he was deeply disturbed and remember someone had a "double" ... for some reason I thought it was Alynna, not Shinon himself. Wow Arya would've fallen apart if she'd found Dai like that. And then instantly murdered her corrupted self lol Seel would be incredibly distraught but he'd tell himself that wasn't the real Rohan, and then he'd try to talk to the corrupted pawn.

Anyway... what would rattle them? Hmm hmmm *finger to chin* hmmmm.

Well I would guess that would be pretty much the same for everyone; pretty sure they'd both be upset if they'd encountered a room full of dead bodies or something lol Seel is more squeamish than Arya but he's also more curious (probably more intelligent).

I don't know; I'll have to think about it a bit more!

You hit the nail on the head in part nine. The devilfire drake possessed Bri and she killed her master. He revived with a wakestone and finished off the drake. She started taking nostalgia dust to prevent it from ever happening again and became addicted in the process.

Dragons, possessed and/or corrupted arisens, Aelinore's poetry, forged meat and the word "rehab".

So I stared playing DD:DA again and during "Lost and Found" Nisa (Dil's Arisen [GT - Qattiel]) decided it would be a good idea to aim and fire at random crows instead of the pack of ravenous wolves lol I guess sometimes it's not the pawn's fault :P

Chase gets rattled by snakes. He never sees the damn things, till it is too late, then uses his most taxing skill/spell to devastate the little slitherers. Stupid elf. :pinched:

Castor is afraid of heights. Or at least that is what he claims. <_< M'hmm. He's just lazy. He knows that if Ari gives him a set of daggers, she expects him to "get climbing, and thousand kiss those uglies!"

Both would be horrified/grief-stricken if their Arisen's bought the farm. But Chase would be inconsolable.....unless Shinon gave him shiny things, and Gabs promised to marry him. Or something like that. *shrug* Castor would just need some of Briana's "good stuff", and a nice hand-holding session with Thomas (if he could wrangle him away from @Curious' pawns. ;) )

Because everyone is in love with Thomas I mean HOW COULD THEY NOT BE <3

Okay, okay, let me think. Arya can't stand to see innocent people and creatures suffer. Or her friends. I mean I know that is an obvious one, but she has a very protective aura about her; makes sense seeing as how Dai is so young and she just loves him to pieces, like her own little brother/son. But heights? Bugs? darkness? Snakes? Nah, none of that usual stuff bugs her.

Seel doesn't like being uncomfortable. He hates being wet or dirty or sweating. He likes his creature comforts. He also over compensates in terms of self-confidence. Meaning he has none. His greatest fear is probably his friends turning on him, or realizing he never had any friends to begin with.
