[Captain Crash]

Moon Shimmer Pelts are a real pain to obtain. Comes off one of the Saurian varients on Bitterblack. One those super rare drops that shouldn't be.  Best thing is to get gifted one and the use the Black Cat for multiple duplicates!!

 

 

Also I unlocked The Hero achievement which means I 100% the game.   

 

Which for me is rare! I only have four other games which I've done that.  Mass Effect 1,2 & 3 and Oblivion.  Very deserving addition

 

Oh and thanks for some more Ur-Dragon tips, will try them out when I get some motivation to sit and thousand kiss the thing for ten minutes

Yeah in all my time playing... with 2 infinity pawns and 2 other pawns... I've probably only collected about five moonshimmer pelts. Period. (I don't have any at present.)

I recently used all five I had to rarefy Zi's Dragon's Glaze. 

 

If you haven't defeated Daimon yet, the Giant Saurian Sages that drop them are in the Rotwood Depository. I'm not sure how many different monster sets there are there, so they might not be there each time. 

 

If you've killed Daimon, Giant Saurian Sages are only found in The Black Abbey, and there are waaaay too many different spawns there. I've only seen the Frostwyrm + Sages set maybe twice in all my levelling sessions. 

 

And yes, despite being the saurian's hide, it's in fact a rare drop. (Just skin the thing and be done with it, huh?)

 

Still no screenshots. Urgh. You have no idea how much this is killing me. I'm worried that since the error codes have changed, maybe the DD app was already updated and is still not working properly. 10 days with not so much as a peep from the Pawn Community (they're usually quick to at least say "we're looking into this") is also concerning. BUT, they also haven't posted anything saying that xbox 360 sharing is no longer being supported. Surely they'd mention that on Capcom's website if nothing else. 

 

I don't see why they would abandon the 360 - the Xbox 360 community is still active (the 360 Ur is about 25 generations ahead of the PS3) and new players are coming every day. If the game servers are still up, c'mon, fix it. Fixitfixitfixit. 

 

There, frustrated rant over. The report won't die, but the image quality might...

 

If it IS fixed, I would be much obliged if anyone playing would like to take scenic shots of anything past Duskmoon Tower - anything. Preferably with no pawns in the shot so I can use it with any group, but that isn't really necessary. Anything that looks interesting.

Really hoping to get back to playing in a week or so (too much work, and husband is getting ready for surgery).

Congrats to to Cap Crush at maxing the cheevos. Not sure I have ever done that. Too lazy, I suspect. Have come close with a couple of DA games, ME2, and even this one...I think. Been a while since I checked.

I killed Grigs with my main GT the other day so I could eventually take the Duke on an escort quest. The wiki says it exists, so I'm doin' it. I'm still in post-game, thinking I might do some everfall farming tonight for some dragonblood rings to toss around.

 

By the way, I'd skipped all the Aelinore events, and was surprised to find her walking around the throne room before Deny Salvation. So I guess she survives if you don't talk to her? Yet another reason to just leave her be. I'm sure her marriage is just fine and not full of choking. (I still flashed my blades a few times for good measure, even though I'd given her a liquid effluvium in a previous game.)

 

I wish I could've taken a video of my game the other day. I had Barnaby and Carcharoth as pawns, we'd just cleared all the harpies out of Hillfigure Knoll and we were on our way back to Gran Soren. (I was playing my low-level save, so I decided to walk.) I stopped to loot a gather spot and Barnaby says "Lovely view. Be lovelier still, without the monsters." I thought to myself, did I miss a harpy? I turned the camera, but no. Just Carcharoth. 

 

...yeah, it's just a general comment without actually having to do with monsters being in the area, but come on. That jealous rage. He could have said any one of his favorite comments, like "The sea is closer than I imagined" or "Tis safest on the roads." But no. He chose to comment on Alynna's "lovely view" as she stooped to pick up some loot and take a shot at Carcharoth all at once.

 

And people say pawns have no personalities.

The number of absolutely perfect choices in that CC leads me to believe that one game just pulled clothing options from another. That coat on Kelly. Seriously. Or do you overlay patterns on a plain white coat? I used to make dozens of CAWs in the old WWF games, and that's what I'd do. (although my crowning achievement was Timesplitters' Harry Tipper, when I enlarged his calves to create the illusion of bellbottom pants) 

 

I don't think I'd ever leave that character creator. I've never played Soul Caliber - I'm a Mortal Kombat and Tekken player - but damn if I'm not tempted by that delicious CC. 

 

I request a Rook. Perhaps two, one accurate one and one 'Sexiest Man in Gransys' variant. Although I suppose that'd just be the same thing twice.

I add patterns and stickers where necessary. The tattoos get flesh colored shapes overlayed to remove bits I don't want. Long, skinny shapes like Kelly's cross and Barnaby's belt are zipper stickers. Briana's Abyssinal armor and Arya's Dragonscale coat are made from the same pieces, but use different patterns and colors. Virmura's and Alyna's Trophy armor sets are going to be made using different pieces. (Unrelated note: Shinon's on the wiki for the trophy armor set.)

...According to the wiki, that picture was uploaded last year. I'm sure I've been there since then and never saw it. My poor boy. (the uploader's notes say "Someone else's arisen/pawn. Hope they don't mind!" I don't mind, certainly, but I'm sure Shinon's none too thrilled. )

Ok you did a great job of cloning her there!! The variations on that thing are crazy!!

 

I am tempted to create a new account and play around in the character creator again.  Dragons Dogmas is one of the best one out there and I love the hairstyles.  Other then play around, don't think I have the motivation to start a new game yet.  Think I hit quest burn out after getting The Hero cheevo!!

I am now pregnant with decuplets.


Has anyone ever had trouble finishing the tablet/monument quest? If I have the quest active and enter BBI through the main entrance, the quest marker doesn't show up. If I enter from the Rotwood Depository, it does, but leads me outside through the Bitterblack Sanctum for some reason. I'm only missing one tablet. I'm going to have to go back through every area to find which one I missed.

Whenever I forgot one, I'd compare the monument with a list of tablets on the wiki and track down the one I was missing.
