Have a pic of Zi being rather enamoured of his work:

11709672_10153372214422225_8439577683836

Arya and Dai are on vacation (picture Arya in a tasteful bikini lying on a lounge chair with shades on, thinking, This is the life... finally I can relax... *sits up abruptly* MASTER, PLEASE STOP TORTURING THAT SEAGULL!)

Ergo Seel is in the Rift ♥

Kelly changed outfits and went up a level. We thought about possibly going for Daimon but after celebrating a cursed dragon's death Kael and Kelly both realized that people who celebrated cursed dragon deaths aren't quite ready for Daimon.

Awww...look at that lovely floating dead guy, Zi made. Shep must be so proud. *wipes a tear from me eye* :D

As for me, I am currently taking screenshots of sandstone statues of half naked desire demons, in the Hissing Waste.

Why are there statues of half naked desire demons in the Hissing Waste?

Supposedly there is a statue of a krogan somewhere

Okay, well, Death's a total frackin dick. I ventured into the "final" zone, and when I got to the entrance hallway of the two condemned gorecyclopes, this ******* appeared and murdered my whole team. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

Introducing... Blue Steel. *whisper* ... Er, sorry... Red Steel.

11222955_10153372397772225_6506956595859

Seriously, the guy gives the most intense stares!!

Boring profile shot alert:

11539574_10153372395347225_5162499823197

I'm convinced the reason so many choose to play rogues are because there are so many cooler outfits. Sorcerer is a joke; it's basically this dress or that dress? Seel gets so bored. And now we have Kelly basically alternating between two sets of armor. Sigh. I'll pretend it's the game's fault and not the fact that he's only level 90-something :)

EDIT: OH! And if anyone would like to send Alin back with some port crystals / liftstones / journal entries, I'd be grateful. We ventured into BBI, died a lot, and had a blast, but really missed having a liftstone. Port crystals would be nice for strategic placement near dragonforging giant lizards (called "dragons" I think...? Hmm). And journal entries, well, I just want to give Reynard his engagement ring, give him his entries, say buh bye, then go fly through end game. Just cause. I'm not even unhappy with Cobweb (Arisen) or Alin's look. Just... cause :P

Okay, I have things, but I'm also asleep in my chair right now, so I'll just toss them out and be back tomorrow with some better catching-uppery. I know that's not a word and I'm too tired to care.

I hadn't played in a week and I sort of binged tonight.

We had Team Love Triangle

Team Love Triangle II (Or pentagon if you count Rook and Ser Jerrome,  throw in Mercedes and we've got a nice Love Hexagon going)

...and Team Stylin'.

Something Seel's wearing seems to distort the air around him, I didn't notice it in battle but I did outside.

Also this happened.

Haha yup he's wearing something from... what's his name... creepy Black Cat salesman guy? It's one of those armors. It makes the air all shimmery. I'm sorry, very annoying for shots! But I just... wanted to put him in something "different," ya know??

Btw I don't think I said so earlier, but I love Zihark's current look :D Team Stylin all the way!

Team Love Triangle is perfect... Chase staring in besotted admiration at Gabs, Gabs pretending she has better things to look at, Shinon staring into the camera because, well, Shinon.

Seel performing voodoo magic on Alin to perfect those bow skills. Well, I'm sure that's what he told him he was doing.

"Do you really have to stand that close?"
"Oh yeah! It makes the magic flow better."

EDIT: I'm thinking about removing Seel's quintessential high gicel and just have him work short spells. What do y'all think? A sorcerer who's more of a quick shot taker than someone who powers up in the background.

Oh, don't change him on my account. Different is good. It's nice to see something that isn't a grave/carrion mantle for a change. Plus that shimmery air made his expression a tad more mischievous than usual.

As for spells, put whatever you like on that boy. Except Grand Brontide, pawns DO NOT CAST THAT even if that's all they have in their spell list and are fighting a downed cockatrice. I'm speaking from experience here.

Ohhhooops well I stuck an adept robe on him, which, of course, he has to wear a crop top under cuz he's Seel, and he's sporting the cool mage "skirt" (I love those); I'd rather the red instead of the blue but it's the only one I have DF, and Rohan (his Arisen) is one sh!tastic sorcerer so that ain't happening  Really need to DF that griffin cloak though; surprised how cool it looks on him. I never used it before, not sure why.

Brontide, Brontide, which one is that again? (googles) OH! Um... really? REALLY? Because IIRC this is pretty much Zihark's FAVORITE move; he is always busting it out! He does some serious damage, too. I don't know if he has it equipped currently, but he has in the past. He can slice through goblins and cyclopes with it. It's pretty awesome. I'm laughing b/c he evidently doesn't do it for you, whereas when I hire him it's pretty much his go-to move LOL

Is there a reason everyone is being zomibified? Also, is there a reason Shinon is now sporting Fabio hair and creeper facial hair?

Oh, and, guess what y'all  :D You may notice next time you're in the Rift that Mr. Alin is wearing.... a Dragonwing Circlet. Oh yes. I did it, I really collected all 10 stone slabs!!! Started this at level 32 and am now (I think) level 41). Dreams really do come true lol :P

Again, thank you to Shinon and Briana for being the awesome pawns that they are. Ahem, has anyone noticed Briana's bow change? It is really delightful to fight an eliminator who can barely move because her bow charms him, like, immediately. Oh, and poisons him. Works wonders on elder ogres, too. Gahhh.

Whelp, time to buff Alin up a bit; think he'll go fighter or warrior for our second go-through of BBI, and I'll let the two wonderkids go and hire Chase and... who else is high level and awesome? Carcharoth perhaps? A warrior could help Alin learn some warrior moves /finger to chin, Hmmm. Decisions, decisions :D

That's High Brontide, which, yes, Zihark loves and uses non-stop, because he knows how awesome he looks while doing so. If you equip a Grand Brontide ring to a pawn, they seem to forget the spell exists and never cast it. I'd heard this happened, but decided to try it for myself, I just wanted to see what Grand Brontide looked like, if there was any difference. The wiki seems to suggest so, saying that extra levins strike around the caster.

Zihark, his spell list consisting of Grand Brontide and nothing else, insisted on running back and forth and using focused bolts (which he NEVER does otherwise) while in combat with various things super-weak to lightning.

There's a reason some of them are. I'm taking shots of everyone that way just in case the need for the shots pops up down the road.

As for Shinon, no reason, he's probably just had a headache from how tight that ponytail was. I love that beard though. It's the only beard that looks halfway decent on him. Except the handlebar mustache when coupled with the ruminator's monocle.

I assume her arrows are coated in some lovely concoction she came up with herself. Liquid Nostalgia Dust or something.

Beard magic

Oh right, right, GRAND Brontide, sorry! Durr. Oh well that's a shame. Seel has Grand Ingle and I do see him shooting fireballs (haven't noticed if there's a difference form High Ingle, which is, I believe, three fireballs in a row).

I keep meaning to put a beard on Seel and I keep forgetting. It would so look like a stick on beard  He would be so delighted wearing it.

WELL I had some fun :D

So it's been 15 days since the last post? (Which I was sure I'd hit 'like' on when I saw it two weeks ago, I blame my garbage internet for not actually registering said like)

I've been extremely busy lately, plus I've been scrambling to finish the main story of ESO before my lovely internet service provider decides that capping rural (read: atrocious... 0.2mb download) internet at 15 GB per month (!) is a good idea starting in August. Since I can only play ESO without crippling lag in the wee hours of the morning, it ain't happenin'. I won't even be able to get updates for games for crying out loud. The Witcher just had a 7 GB one. That's half my month, right there.

I do still knock about in DD, and I still do write, I'm trying to get a much bigger chunk done than last time, and perhaps divide it up so there won't be another year-long gap in between. I'm inspired daily, so don't worry that I'm pushing it aside and forgetting about it. A few hiccups here and there, but nothing a good wallop can't handle.

I was having issues with Xbox live yesterday so I decided to play on my Sweetfarore / Leanne account, figuring if I got a corrupted save due to poor connection with the server, I wouldn't mind so much. She and her gang were off to slay the griffin at Bluemoon Tower, which they did (through no help of her arisen, who was a level 31 magick archer and couldn't visibly damage anything, and got punted off just about every single bridge because he wasn't watching where he was going). It was nighttime, and an occasional flash of lightning would light up the ruins, making it look rather creepy down there.
Spoiler

I also got the quest to kill Salomet right after, and I'd forgotten to place the portcrystal outside Bluemoon Tower, so I had to walk the whole way twice. Fun!

Here's a few pics of mage Shinon, who has unshakeable focus...

SHEP! I was just thinking about you the other day, when I tried to take a screenshot of a marvelous glitch at Halamshiral. A "pop-in" NPC, knocked into my Samhal Lavellan. You know how sometimes when that happens in DAI, the character that gets hit moves their upper body, but their legs stay rooted to the original spot? This time, both the legs AND HIS HEAD, stayed in one place, while his body left said position! Unfortunately, with my less than stellar PC, taking screenies is a slightly "delayed" action. Yup. The shot was missed. Boo. <_<

I really need to load up my toons. It has been waaaay too long. I powered through most of TW3 (then ran into some glitches and bugs....waiting on patches before continuing), then got two of my PC's in DAI that were near completion, completed. Now I am trying to decide which Quizzy to progress on (of the ones I still have at various stages of the game), while I wait for more DLC.

Killing some Gorecyclopses might just do, to pass the time. Or I could work. Probably should work.

Seems like were all kind of busy.  Haven't played in about two months.

What I love about this game though is how easy it is to pick up where you last left off.  :)    Killing some Gorecyclopses... yeah I could spend an hour or so later getting back into the swing of things.  That sounds like a great idea  B)  :D

Yes I've been away too long and I'm so sorry!!!! OMG I even missed all the Seel spam!!! <3 I can't remember if I removed High Gicel, but obviously I shouldn't have if I did ROFL And Seel playing naked Zyhark for a fool /snort He "fell asleep" on his warm shoulder, awwww :x

Well what happened to me is, like some of you guys, just got distracted with life and other games. My computer was finally deemed unfixable and Dell sent me a new one. So I've been playing it hard, mostly with Skyrim, and also streaming videos, soccer games, etc. to test it before the warranty runs out. Haven't been on xbox in over a month, probably. Even if I want to watch Netflix, amazon, etc. I do it on the computer. Once a month or two goes by, and nothing appears burnt out, I'll feel more relaxed and willing to turn on ye olde xbox again. (Or maybe sooner hehehe I felt I was making progress with Kelly and Alin's games)

Agree with ya, Cap'n, this game is so easy to get back into! It's that damned amazing combat system. I really wish they'd release yet another even harder DLC and also let my 200s level up more so I could play Seel and Arya again.

I powered through most of TW3 (then ran into some glitches and bugs....waiting on patches before continuing)

I got a bug that might not be of concern to many, but it was absolutely crushing to me. I'm big on Gwent. Like, really really big on Gwent. At the end of the game I decided to look up which cards I was missing so I could get my collection completed. I noticed I was missing a bunch of lower-tier cards which was insane as I scoured all of Velen like 8 times demanding to play cards with everyone and their dog. Turns out that a Person In Distress that I'd saved didn't make it home. He was supposed to go back to Claywich and resume his merchantly duties, yet he must've gotten eaten by wolves or something. A lot of people apparently have this bug and are getting rather impatient that it isn't fixed yet.

I'm also happy to note that Gai has reached level 38 and close to getting back to his old self, still using a crappy longbow though (bespoke I think) :(

If nobody remedies this by the weekend, I should be able to toss you some gear. If you want anything in particular, let me know.

...It's nice to see life in this thread. Have another Shinon.

Ahhh Gwent. Video game crack! And like you, I got issues with the Gwent collection: the first was that I didn't play Gwent with the bar keep in White Orchard, before she left for Novigrad. So I couldn't get her card (CDPR did talk about making it available through either the Merchant just up the road from the bar, or through a new bar keep.....or maybe that was just for the Zoltan card  I can't remember.) The second is Person in Distress. Except that my bug is where the bandits didn't drop the damn key! The poor bugger is stuck in that cage, anxiously (and fruitlessly) trying to direct Geralt on where the key must be. No luck, buddy!

Now I fully admit I dun fudged up with the BB's card. I didn't play him, before he went off to try and "cure" his wife. :pinched: I take full responsibility for that goof-up. (I suppose I should take responsibility for the bar keep in White Orchard, but then I had no idea she intended to leave for good either.)

But damn, I love that mini-game. B)

I have had a few random issues (two freezes, and two times with the infinite load screen at startup), and some minor graphical glitches (plus the Roach 'stutter'). But the two other issues that put sand in my panties was the Cave of Dreams bug, and a graphical error that was briefly amusing, but then downright distracting. The Cave of Dreams quest started to bug out on me, when I was actually playing it (I had graphical stutters and then Blueboy disappeared  ), and had to reload and replay. Did so, and everything seemed to go fine. Showed as successfully completed. Then I got the bug. Did King's Gambit, and it Cave of Dreams now shows up in the "Failed" section of the journal. Balls!

The graphical issue that I thought was kind of funny at first, was if I equipped certain silver swords or certain armors, I would get this weird stretched mesh thing, that sprouted from said item. Out in the open, it wasn't a huge deal, but in close quarters, it would block my view from enemies, and I died a lot more than I ever should have. :P This, of course, was before I started experimenting with trying to get rid of said glitch. Once I found the offenders, I removed those items. But it kind of sucks, since one of them was a silver sword (can't remember the name of it at the moment), that I was really excited to finally be able to use - since it took a while to level up for me to use it.

Hopefully the next couple patches will iron these things out. ;)

As for DD, I did in fact get back to actually work, so I have yet to turn on the game. HOWEVER!! It is my day off today, so I am going to jump into Gransys/BBI for a bit. :D
