Also: I've been trying to do research on what the best build for a fighter pawn is, what the best augments and sword and shield moves are, but everyone seems to disagree. I spent a long time last night trying to decide how to outfit Arya. Also in terms of personality; I think she is the Guardian personality, and I've heard many don't like this. So if you can think of a way that would make her more useful to you, do tell me so I can, ahem, sit her down and make those changes! lol

Hey guys. I'm running low on rift crystals and was wondering if someone wants to take my pawn out for a spin.

He is a lvl 115 sorcerer with 2501 magick, 478 Defense 896 Magick Defense. His inclinations are: Utilitarian and Mitigator.

My gamertag is: oknenah live

I would also be happy to take some of your pawns out assuming they are not too high of a level for me to rent.

Edit: Oh ya, and does anybody know if the bed that is next to Olra rests you for a whole day or half a day?

^ I sent you a FR on XBL. My GT is HappyDaiz73, and my pawn is Gabrielle, who is currently a mage, but that changes when the wind blows, hehe. We're level 130 atm, and I'd be happy to try out your pawn.

If you add any of us as friends, our pawns will be free.

Shepenwepet and Carcharoth's are higher level than me, so I use at least one of their pawns every time. :D

Regarding resting by Olra, I don't think time passes when you're in BBI, but I could be wrong.

Ok cool, thanks! I'm glad that pawns between friends are free because I'm sitting at 756 RC.

Damn. I'd make an Arisen, name her after one of the RWBY characters, and then have three lady followers that have the other RWBY character names.

It'd be great. Ahh well.

Dargon's Madog 2, where art thou?

Once you accept my FR, and I head back to the entrance, I'll add you. I'm Godsbaning the chest in the dual goreclops room, and haven't gotten diddly squat. *sigh*

@prince - there you go. maybe you should get this and play with us. :innocent:

Hopefully Deep Down is the Dragon's Dogma sequel. Doesn't really make sense for Capcom to abandon the IP, and Deep Down looks incredible.

You could always fight Daimon. I'm sure he misses you.

One thing I think they need to improve in the sequel-

Make it so that a player can't tell so easily that another game can do something you did better.

Thats my problem with it, and thats whats holding me back- so many parts of it remind me of what I enjoyed in other games, except those games did it better, and it just feels like DD would be a step down in everything except combat.

Trust me, I'd love to grab ALL THE BSN PAWNS and go to work, but...*shakes head*

They gotta draw me in better next time.

That I can do, but I'm having so much fun killing myself for good gear. :P

What is it that you think other games did better?

@Carcharoth - I don't have to go that far to find whiskey, there's some in the fridge. Too bad I don't like whiskey... That poses something of a dilemma. I do have some gin, and lots of beer. And some kind of fruity Parrot Bay stuff. Hmm.

Character appearance, game world appearance, art style in general, story/plot, companions knowing when to shut their respective mouths

Combat's all well and good, the monsters look cool, I like the idea of the lanterns and nightfall being dangerous, but I'm the kind of gamer that puts more importance on story than gameplay.

I can play a game with a great story if the combat's less than stellar, but if the story can't engage me, screw the gameplay, I'm out.

Hence why I gave up Bayonetta quite early, and why I was able to play Kingdoms of Amalur for maaany hours(and beat both its DLC's).

Seriously, what is it with DD companions?

"ARISEN! A ROCK! LOOK ARISEN, ITS A ROCK! A ROCK ARISEN, SEE!? ITS A ROCK!"

You tell them to shut the hell up, and things get quiet. You think you're safe, and then...

You just want to throw your controller through your TV.

lol Yes

Briana: A bridge! Let's hope it's sturdy!
Me: Girl, you are level infinity, pretty damn sure you been on this bridge before. Relax.

All valid reasons, but dang, it's sooo much fun. I just wish you'd try it out.

I don't even notice pawns talking too much anymore. They're like my compatriots in arms, so it's almost like they're keeping me company - which is a welcome thing in Bitterblack. If they were completely silent, I think I'd be even more afraid in there. Hehe, I'm such a chicken.

P.S. I didn't like Bayonetta, either. But I do like the story in DD. It is pretty compelling, once you start focusing on the main quest line. At least I thought so, anyway. All that stuff with the duke? Dayam!

Just wait for a Dragon's Dogma 2, hope its good, hope there's actual co-op between players, and I'll take you on a totally unromantic for obvious familial reasons magic carpet ride.

Co-op would be fantastic, indeed, but I do like the pawn system, too.

I mean, I think I would probably drive people nuts with my shrieking in fear, and truck driver mouth.

Well someone rented out Arya, gave her all three stars, and "gifted" her a rotten apple :(

I think I'm going to give her a new look. I guess she is kind of boring looking. I could sex her up a bit, I suppose. Give her her boobs back, lol!

You should make her look how you want her to look. Briana has gone through several alterations before I settled on her current appearance. She used to be blonde, with a different face shape and hairstyle. Her boobs were bigger and she was shorter. She also had a tan. Now I just change her hair and eye colors when I'm bored.

Yeah :) Briana looks freaking awesome by the way, as I'm sure you know :D I love her perpetual smirk. She just screams "bada-s-s."

I'm going with the dreads for Arya, but not changing her face at all because I figure there's nothing wrong with a girl changing her hairstyle a bit, right? And she's rocking some eyeshadow and a nice lip shade now. But she still screams "Amazon" to me, which is what I'm looking for. She's tall and has a confidant posture. I did darken her skin color a bit because I had forgotten to do that awhile back. I think it's a good shade to match her pink hair.

I think she's getting envious of Briana and Gabrielle though :) She's whispering to my Arisen that she'd like some sexy outfits, please :P But I don't think many "sexy" options exist for fighters/warriors.

Soon I'm going to start a new game just because I have an urge to create a male mage pawn, and a different Arisen. I'll switch back and forth between them. Yeah I know you have to save them to different places ^^ Got it covered. You guys don't have to gift this new pawn anything. At least not until he's at a respectable level :P

But that's in the future. Adventures of Dai and Arya continue tonight!!! Using Chase and Gabrielle. Does Gabrielle have a new outfit on? And I love Chase's mask!
