I finally managed to get Woolie 2 pieces of BBI armor lvl 3 for him to wear. It still needs dragonforged tho. I'm hunting down chests right now that are supposed to drop it.

While I dragonforge his armor I think I may set him as a fighter so that he can get some hp and physical defense because his health is pretty low. If I make him a fighter till lvl 200 he will go from 2448 hp to 3543 which is more respectable but I would miss out on 219 magick. What do you guys think, fighter or sorcerer till lvl 200?

@happy_daiz - yup...that is me too. I wear makeup maybe twice a month. My job is not suited to fancy clothing, so no point.

@oknenah - Woolie did pretty damn good against a trio of Garms and a Thunderwyvern, but I can understand wanting to raise his HP some. I did a bit of reading when building Chase, and learned how to max him out on vocations, while not leveling up too fast. This allowed for him to have some decent HP and Stamina, at the level he is at.

Well I just killed Daimon with four archers, two of them being merchant archers.


I ran through the last few floors, only stopping in the Sparyard to swap my equipment and kill two drakes, finally getting my grave mantle dragonforged. It had been stubborn up until then. I hate using it, as it has that health regen for nearby pawns, which makes them glow snot green and ruins my pictures.

Anyway, once I hit bitterblack sanctum it occurred to me, I have no healer, and I'm wearing Lady's Trek Wear. Shinon had somehow picked up three auspicious incenses along the way, so I stole them, thinking they'd be my only chance of survival.

The first part of the battle went as normal, standard ninefold bolt spam and circling towards the right. Once he collapsed after a failed rift portal, Shinon went for the groin. It was over in seconds.


Then came awakened Daimon. We've got this, guys.


His first fire barrage killed me. I wakestoned. I then started hitting him in the face with ninefold bolt.


Every shot stunned him. About a minute later he was still there, being peppered by arrows.


He didn't even have the chance to try the rift portal, he was stunlocked for the duration thanks to two pyrepipes, a liquid vim and three supporting archers.

Then I went and purified my blasphemer's cloak. I hate everything.

I had a shot of Shinon being awesome, but when I hit start, it had just shifted to a "It's fallen! Now, attack!" cyclops that had been tripped up by a ricochet hunter. It looks... like something else. It made me laugh, anyway. I'm such a child.

I've tried to get into wearing make-up, but I wasn't allowed to all through high school, so I didn't grow up with the habit of putting it on. Now I will wear a little shimmering powder to work but that's it. And lip gloss every day because I am obsessive about chapped lips. (Lip gloass on top of carmex, yeah.)

As far as dressing is concerned, during summer I wear boy shorts and soccer jersey or t-shirt. But to work I do dress up; I like a-line dresses, big belts, colorful tights, and my sparkly Toms xD

Pretty sure the cyclops did. Kinda looks like it hurt.  As usual, bravo, Shepenwepet!

I just farted around Gransys for a bit, to max out sorcerer (which I finally did). Fought some hellhounds, succubi, gargoyles, and a Drake. Now it's time to max out Strider. I will miss auto-lock, I'm sure. Meh.

Whoever sent me the Idol of the All-Maker, thanks! I needed that for something, though I can't remember what it was...

Just got 3 of Woolie's items dragonforged from killing one thunderwyvern. 

Just have 2 left to get dragonforged. Hopefully I get both from killing this cursed dragon.

Anybody want any cursed armor lvl 2's or one or two weapon lvl 2's? They are just things I already have and I don't want to use the RC to purify and sell them.

Edit: The luck was bad yesterday, its great today! Just got the other 2 items dragonforged from that cursed dragon.

Bloody fantastic! Finally got my first two level 3 Armors from the chests in the Midnight Helix. Only took me 10 minutes worth of Godsbaning.

I need to try those chests. I spent way too much time trying that on the chests in the Fallen City, among other places, only to realize they were the wrong chests. I did finally figure those out, and have been munchkining ever since.

That may have been me that gave you the idol, I know I sent one to somebody. I have about 14, but I hadn't seen any recently, so I figured others would be having the same problem.

I'm getting addicted to randomly picking equipment from my storage to get it dragonforged. This is what my Arisen pulled out of storage just before I quit...

Whatever that cape is, it seems to constantly emit a Pigpen-esque cloud of stink.

I'm actually finding some decent looking combinations. the noblewoman's corset and grave mantle look like they belong together. the wyrmfire vizard is... a little silly, but whatever.


Still haven't found the right bracers for Shinon. Nothing looks good.

@cold - I'll take a guess at what you purify - a blasphemer's cloak and grave greaves/boots of shadow/betrayer's greaves.

If there are still armor and weapons you need from those categories, you're going to need to purify them, as the game will keep giving you the same stuff until you keep it. Don't worry about the rift crystals, that's what the rest of us are for.

Oh, ok. I will be sure to purify them if nobody wants any of them. Figured I would check and see so I will forge the 17 moonshimmer pelts I need:sick: and if nobody needs any by then I will just purify them.

@Shepenwepet - the Gauntlets of Oblivion would look good on Shinon. Err, well, they look pretty cool on my Arisen, anyway. They're kinda spikey. I ran into Woolie in Grans Soren, and showed them to him. I'll post pics soon.

@Shep - you were close....Gauntlet of Shadow, and Grave Claws. Whelp....it's not like I had them already.

Thanx for the nods to my first level 3 chest hunting. Brings a tear to me eye. Was quite funny hearing " No_NO!" "Be careful not to be poisoned." right after Godsbaning. @happy_daiz, I think the Midnight Helix is probably the easiest one to Godsbane at. Well, that is me who is too scared to traipse about the Fallen City.

I wouldn't say no to Armor Lv.2. I only have one piece of lv.2 yellow armor (and wouldn't ya know it...it's for the arms.) But please, pass on to the lower level peeps first. I can wait.

OH! And I finally took some shots at Death tonight. I bugged out fairly quickly though, because he showed up before I could clear the room of other baddies (and they kept pinning me down). In the end, I only whittled away a third of one bar.....<.< *yay*

Thanks for the tips re dragonforging. I will get to BBI ... eventually!

MMG - will send something with Arya later this evening. Vendors in Gransys will never be poor with my Arisen around (her gold depletes a lot)! It's all that enhancing, Caxton doesn't make it cheap, "they're masterworks all. You can't go wrong"!

That's not close at all! I have neither of those!

Here's my running tally of what I've kept, not counting red vocations because I'll only switch to them if I have both yellow and blue items (and I only have 1 Betrayer's Greaves anyway, across all sets):

Grave Claws - 0, Carrion Claws - 1
Coat of Shadow - 2, Coat of Oblivion - 0

Boots of Shadow - 2, Boots of Oblivion - 2
Grave Greaves - 1, Carrion Greaves - 0
Hellfire Cloak - 5
Blasphemer's Cloak - 17 (estimated, at least 12 were sold, I currently have 5)

That's 33 items in total, one of which is a quest reward for killing death, so 32 armor drops. The Grave Greaves and Carrion Claws were gifted to me, and they were my first two purifications, which looked promising, but then 17 out of 30 became Blasphemer's Cloaks. I am seriously considering farming chests while dressed as a nun and a priest to try to hint to the game LOOK, I DON'T WANT THESE.

If I do a BBI run tonight, I'm going to collect every single armor drop there is - there are 6 in total - before purifying them. And if I get 3+ Blasphemer's Cloaks, there is clearly something up with my "random" list.

I've done everything I can possibly think of. I even went through BBI as a sorcerer and a mystic knight to see if it would shake things up a bit, I had been rather stuck in a rut (an amazing rut) as MA. But no," have some more stupid cloaks," Olra said, "you are obviously experiencing some sort of cloak deficiency and I am here to help,"

I pretty much just roll blue and yellow in this run, as well.

You really have gotten skunked on the cloaks. 

I'm curious - how many sets of Trophy Armor do you guys have? I already have two complete sets. I kinda thought that armor was going to be special, but apparently, not so much.
