You know Dragon's Dogma is a game that could do with a gestures feature.
That would be much easier than trying to abuse commands. I once tried for about ten minutes with the "help" command trying to get a shot of my arisen waving and looking at the camera at the same time. And when I got it, I didn't like it.

Seriously those pictures you're taking are just so convenient
Aside from the ricochet-urinating cyclops,"Convenient" is not the word I would use. And neither would you if you saw me play.

It's more... persistence than convenience. If I did a Let's Play on Youtube, people would get bored in seconds because I'm always in the pause menu.
I like watching pawns go through their animations, and during fights that don't require my attention, (and what the hell, some that do) I'll just stick really close to a pawn (usually Shinon, I'm biased) and wait for them to start attacking something. Pause, zoom in, awesomeness. I also like the little cuts to a character, but I wish they didn't glow when it happens.
and the amount you take...I'm beginning to think you know something about the game that we don't.
Well, the zoom feature eluded me until NG+. And I take a lot of shots because it's addictive. Once you start getting good ones, you can't stop.
Can all those shots really be coincidences? Those pictures are just so awesome...
Thanks, and yes, most of them are. I do stage some, like the whole YMCA thing, and since I like ladders, I'll usually try for a shot every time I head down one. I'm quite partial to this shot of Gabrielle, which first got me noticing the magic of ladders.

Hiding your arisen is necessary here, unless you like ab-boobs.

Getting pawns to cooperate in non-action shots is tough.

For this one, I'd just picked Shinon up and put him down, he's near the end of his "brushing himself off" animation, where he lifts his arms in the air. By sheer luck, he's looking at the camera.
Screenshots are always at the top of my list, even when things get hectic. I know it's easy to forget the option is there, but if you've got time to pause and sniff some incense, you've got time to see if what's currently on the screen can make a good shot.
