@Bekkael - Death will eventually leave the Bloodless Stockade, even before you go after Daimon for the first time. If you are afraid to run past him, just head to one of the little treasure chest rooms, douse your light, and wait it out. Kinda boring and not productive, but have used that trick a few times when I was to chicken to make a dash or was not in the mood to strafe, hit and run. lol! Either way will get you through the Stockade so you can move on....when you are ready.
That's good to know. I know it won't take long until I get bored with the areas I can currently farm and I just want to see everything that's left to see beyond the Bloodless Stockade. I'll probably venture back down there and save it right before I find out the best way to avoid Death. I think dying to him a few times and watching him kill the pawns will be quite educational.
@Carcharoth
I ran around BBI for a couple of hours earlier to go fight the Bishop and his pet and get some more armor dragonforged, right? Well, he wasn't where I fought him before, so I finally gave up and changed to my really nice Trophy set, which is what I had on before and got all DF'd from that first Bishop. I go into the Rotunda of Dread, expecting the usual cockatrice or something similar....nope. It was a floating caster and his dragon. *facepalm* The only thing I had on that wasn't already DF'd was Lady's Camisole, and I ended up killing the dragon with daggers already gold DF'd, instead of the bow that is only 3 starred.
Here's a quick question for anyone who might know: Does the height of your character determine how high you can double jump or levitate?
I've been doing all those annoying Badge of Vows quests, and I'm stuck on 71 and 72, both of which are in places my character cannot reach, despite very light encumbrance and changing classes and trying different skills. Nothing works and I'm rather bummed. According to the wiki, I should be able to reach these locations with double jump/levitate, but my character still falls short. (ha! falls short...sorry) She's shorter than all the pawns, and it's all I can think of as to why she can't reach those places. Anyway, if anyone has some insight for me, I would appreciate it.
