@happy - that is hilarious. I am feeling a "most interesting man" moment with Shinon.

Alright! I am set up as Ranger, packing explosive arrows, periapts, bait.....and my palms are already sweating. LOL! Switched Chase to Mage, and have Woolie and Shinon in the party as well. Keeping everything ranged, so to speak. Though I expect I will be doing the heavy lifting. Death...your time has come (said in a shaky and unconvincing whisper)

Let us know how it goes! He usually disappears after I shave off a health bar, so the whole thing takes place for me over several encounters. I'm curious to know how it goes with added firepower.

Be brave! Before long, you won't even fear Death.

@Shepenwepet - sorry to hear your first day was so crappy. Hopefully it will pick up for you, and the weather will get better!

4 hours to go. At least the guy doing the reptile show for the kids kinda looks like Dave Gahan from a distance.

@happy and Carcharoth - whelp...a bar and a half. That's what I managed. Nearly all of one bar came off with the blast arrows (I didn't have 150 with me...so my fault on that). That was only with about two shots of 10 fold. I also forgot to stack the periapts (only did one at a time....no clue why. I brought a ton). Once I ran out of the blast arrows, I had one plain shot of 10 fold, and he got stuck in the ceiling. I ran to the other side of the room, and that fixed him being stuck....got off another 3 rounds of 10 fold, and then he teleported (I call cheating on that. ) So I high tailed it into the side tunnel. And proceeded to sit there for about 30 seconds. Wasn't sure how to proceed because I backed myself into a corner....idiota! >.<
He left on his own accord. At least I know the "theory" of the blast arrows most certainly does work. So yay! on that. They are just so heavy to haul around.

@Shep - Well, eye candy can help pass the time. Sorry to read your expo woes. Turn on some Depeche and stare at the Reptile Man.

Once again, I forget that not everyone has a 100+ carrying capacity.

He showed up again, and I got another half a bar off. BUT, he keeps getting stuck in walls/ceiling. What is up with that? His bar disappears once that happens, and nothing registers (hit wise).

I hate it when he gets stuck in walls, and he does it often. The worst part is that he can still scythe through walls. Nobody said Death was fair, right? Hehe.

Carcharoth, how is your capacity that high? Sinew, leg strength, and other augments? Is your Arisen a giant? I'm jelly.

Bad news,,, <_< I can't find the wifi adapter for the xbox. Some "helpful" friend or family member must have tossed it into some random box during the move. No telling how long it will take me to unpack everything, especially with the semester rapidly approaching (was in the office today helping a student; keep in mind it's still officially summer and I'm NOT BEING PAID Grrrrrr). 

Until then, I don't get to see any of the stuff y'all gave me  Or turn Arya into a ranger and let her play with y'all

213 height 127 weight. I'm not using any of those augments either.
I convinced a friend to let me use his internet for the night so I should still be able to get this Ur-Dragon and the Absyssinal set for Bekkael. After that, well... I think I need to find a new IP.

Haven't posted recently because my laptop's charger shorted out and doesn't work anymore and the laptop is dead. I have to use internet explorer on the xbox which is pretty darn slow.

I got to Gazer on my lvl 20 challenge run charictor and he is really difficult. After an hour I managed to take off half of his health bars and then I got oneshot by the shotgun ingles his tenticles cast. I was out of wakestones so that was it.

The magic cannon Gazer summons did almost no damage to him either. It makes me think it scales off of strength or something. It only took off about 1/12th of one health bar after spamming attacks into it untill it disapeared.

Broke down and went on YT to watch some Death and Awakened Daimon killing. I feel like an ass. I make things way to complicated. Bottom line: I'm going back to Gran Soren, going to buy a shyte load of blast arrows and periapts. And stripping down to the barest necessities for health/stamina. OH! And I want to apologize in advance....your pawns may (will) die in my quest to best both Death and Awakened Daimon. Just a forewarning....and I'm sorry. So, so very sorry.

@oknenah - bad luck regarding the laptop. A comfort cookie for you too. I am still using Woolie as a Sorcerer. Actually quite fun running Chase as Mage and Woolie as a Sorcerer. All kinds of havoc is wrecked.

@cold - Yep. This is the second charger that has broken for the darn thing.

The Woolie/Chase combo sounds pretty fun.

Good luck on taking down Death! Almost every time I face him he manages to take out atleast one pawn so if you're wondering why you guys' pawns keep coming back dead it's thanks to Death.

Huh. I actually don't know how much my Arisen can carry, but I feel like she's dragging if she's up past light to average weight. It could be psychological, as my left stick has a tendency to stick. Apt name for it, at least. And p.s., 213 height  is a giant!

Hope you can get your net situation straightened out, that must be super frustrating.

I just <3 Woolie. That deep voice and attentiveness is endearing. I think my Arisen might have a crush of her own. 

@oknenah, wow, that stinks. I'm crossing my fingers that it works itself out for you. We had something like that happen a while back, and it ended up being a bad wall outlet. We never did fix it, come to think of it.

@Shepenwepet - eat, woman! You've got lots of killing and snapshotting to do! 

Time to check out some abs, methinks.

Well, I didn't even get to godsbane anything, I was too busy giving this Elder Ogre the time of his life.

All of my pawns leapt off a bridge, so I liftstoned and riftstoned. And look who I found sporting a new outfit.

Sweet! Got him down a bit past half of his total health. I ran out of blast arrows (my bad....my first tenfold shot, I was slow out of the gate....he teleported just before they could hit. Wasted 10 blast arrows). I think the blast arrows keep him kind of stun locked....sort of. He can't seem to do much more than get up, then he is down again. However, once I ran out, even though I was still dealing decent damage, he mustered up enough strength to bolt. Still....very satisfying round. Garden of Ignominy (sp) is definitely the best place to take him out. Easiest to maneuver in.

Okay, is it somewhat sad that Chase is tickling my fancy covered in oil? Such a perv..... >.<

I saw that Quintin was sporting a "Shinon". Me gusta!

Okay, just checked in with "the fatman" (Fornival), bought a pallet of periapts and sobering thingamajigs. Stopped off to see the gals selling Blast Arrows. Bought Blast Arrows. Now I am heading back...I coming after you Death. *eveel grin*

Shinon looks like he got a boo-boo.

That bastart Death. After the last smackdown I brought on him, he wouldn't show up again. I thought I had brought the bait, but apparently I hadn't. O.o >.>

BUT! I finally got the Boots of Oblivion, farming the Midnight Helix.

Another Ur-Dragon kill. Bekkael should have the Abyssinal armor and Shep should have a mask. I don't think I'll be able to get back on Xbox live for a while.

@Carcharoth *squee* How in the world do you kill these Ur dragons so fast? You're going to have to share your techniques with me. I finished Deny Salvation last night, and dang if that isn't a frickin' huge dragon. Is the last fight really hard? I think I need a pep talk. I'm about to check out the wiki page too...

So you guys saw that Quintin wants to be just like Shinon when he grows up, right? Actually, it was seeing Chase bare-chested that made me want to have a "Team Abs" so I did and had great fun with it yesterday. Picture spam incoming!

When I first got "Team Abs".


My Arisen felt a bit left out, so she changed to a Cursed King's Belt too, but just couldn't rock it as well as the boys.


This guard couldn't resist being a little jealous...


Shinon and Quintin practicing their ballet in BBI while Chase refuses to join. (Sorry it's so dark, I took their lanterns away and doused my own trying not to attract too much attention.)


Nova changed gear after DFing some armor, and Olra seemed a little offended at having her sense of style copied.


Finally advancing the main storyline, Nova follows the Duke on his way to give her a sword she can't use.


And just for fun, Nova picked up Shinon and ended up with his dagger in her mouth! It was an interesting experience for her. :innocent:


I think I may finish the game today, so if anyone has any insight or advice of what I should pack for the final battle, please feel free to share! (I think I'll be using Team Abs, with Nova as a MA, but this is subject to change.)
