When I launch the Installer I get a series of xml errors and then, rather than having the installer show up, I get just the text in the boxes (like install, exit, etc.). If I click exit is still works and exits. Also I noticed that I can drag an image of the desktop around just like it was a window. It seems that the installer is taking an image of the desktop and sticking the boxes to it.

If I try to install from the setup.exe. the game 'installs' itself in just 5 seconds or so. It doesn't install, apart from a few weblinks.

Any ideas what this error can be?

Help others to help you. After all, this forum you are in now is user-to-user help. You will see very little from EA/Bioware here.

Also, please register your game on here.  Helps show you have a genuine copy.  Neither you nor the original poster did this.....

Your profile in the forums has neither DA: O nor ME-2 entered, and yet you complained about your disk drive in both of those games' tech forums.  If you own legal copies, we need for you to complete the proper steps on the forums.
