I loved having a Krogan in both the last two games. Wrex was a Badass and Grunt was interesting.

There really isn't a good reason for Grunt to leave Shep's side anytime soon. He is like a baby duck, and Shep's the mother. He respects and looks up the Shepard. The email you get in Mass Effect 2 after his loyalty mission says the the Krogan need him. But Grunt doesn't have a reason to go back to them at the moment. Grunt wants to take on the Reapers, he isn't gonna let his race come before him, he doesn't care as much as Wrex. Tuchanka will be there for grunt when the world is saved, and they already have Wrex, don't let them take another Krogan from us!

It is still to early to say we are or are not going to get a Krogan Squade, but what is your opion on this IF we don't have a Krogan and James takes over?

Personally I would just switch him out for Garrus, but I do love my Krogan squadmates.

Somehow I don't think Vega will be particularly good / effective for the purpose of holding metal work pieces together..... but, I suppose anything is possible. Though I'm guessing he'd do a better job shooting guns at people than being melted down..

Wrex(Wreav) is probably flying around his Krogan harem leading the Krogan fleets in the invasion, so it's very unlikely he'll be part of the team. Grunt probably had tank withdrawals and is flying his tank through space.

Well in any case, yes, I do believe Vega is our 'krogan'. The developers have stated that he and Ashley are two sides of the soldier coin; Ashley specializes in lethality to Vega's survivability.

Survivability... in a game that promises few squadmates than ME2 had, I'd go out on a limb and say that there's our 'krogan'.

Even if you're probably right, I don't see a logical way of making a human as resilient as a Krogan.

I think Vega will be able to withstand respectful damage, like a krogan but not that much, and what powers he will have?
