I really gotta say, having recently gotten into the Mass Effect series that both games have among  the most epic ending for any video game period. I was just wondering which do you guys  find more satisfying: the ending for ME1 (ie. Sovereigns destruction and the cool end credits theme) or ME 2 (the tone clearly being set for an epic showdown with the reapers in the third installmeant)?

I really love both but have got to give the slight edge to ME2. The music was so awesome and cool throughout, and the fairly lenghty cutscence of the battle with the collectors has really made me hope for space battles in future installments. Opinions on which game had the more epic ending??

That's a tough one... but like you I'll give the edge to ME2; nothing beats the feeling of going through the suicide mission for the very first time, knowing some of your crew might die on this playthrough, only to get the No One Left Behind Achievement on the first try. Sure, easy in hindsight, but an amazing feeling nonetheless.
