I had one problem - the character animations are sped up x10. So the character looks like a twitchy drug addict rather then a relaxed person doing normal movements.

I mostly liked the creator, was hoping for a bit more...detail...in some of the options.

Things I would like to see in future updates;

1. Ability to change height, weight, posture.
2. More details or options for each slider.
      a. Skin Tone really needs to get more black and less red on the right end.
      b. Generally just more hair, bread, eyebrow etc selections.
      c. Perhaps an accessories slider for eyepatches, scars, jewlery etc.
3. Ability to change the last name of characters.

Probably more but I want to go play with it some more!

I like it, although i would have prefered a few more hairstyle options. Could'nt help laughing when my first attempt at creating a male dwarf ended up looking like Alistair.

Ditto on the hair an skin tones. I would have liked a bit more options with the hair such as curly hair. As for the skin tones, it took me a while to make it look decent as I created a darker character. They turned really reddish/black instead of brown.

Cranking up the backlight on my laptop all the way and brightening the in-game graphics helped a lot with the darkness. (I'm blind, I know...) I'd like to see more hairstyles on both genders. The options right now are great, though some hairstyles unique to each race would be even better.

Overall, I like it a lot. Can't wait to take my elf mage out for a test run. :)

Okay, so I saw 4 of us had trouble with the darkness. Anyone else have a problem with that?

Me too. Forgot to mention it earlier, but in general, it's just really really dark. I had to constantly tilt my monitor screen up and down to focus on certain body parts (like the eye color and darker hair colors, as someone mentioned), because I was too lazy to readjust my own laptop lighting.

I kinda did.  When I was first fiddling around with it, I realized I couldn't tell what my character's hair looked like if I was choosing a darker color.  Eventually, I just temporarily made it a lighter shade until I found a style I liked, but it was a little annoying to have to do that.

I3. Eye color, maybe it's just hard to see but I can't even tell that much what colors there are, it all looks dark to me.

This was my chief complaint also. With everything so dark colors were often hard to see, and it would have been very nice to get confirmation of the color chosen:  blue, green, hazel whatever.

I couldn't agree more. I wish there was RGB & Luminosity sliders opposed to just one slider to control skin tone. I wanted to make a black skin toned character but had to settle for brown.

I think the CC is quite satisfactory, I did not expect to be blown out of my seat

unless I missed something, too many face options and no body options at all (fat/thin, tall/short, busty/flat, long/short legs, muscled, etc.).

Also, the most important thing to me is not the appearance (since we will hardly ever look at our characters, and this being a single player game, nobody else will see our characters), but stats/skill selection, and though I could assign a few stat points, I couldn't choose any skills or spells.

It's the best character creator I've seen so far...I've already made four characters.

It's pretty awesome. The graphical fidelity for the faces are a lot better than I thought they were going to be. But, is it just me, or do most of the eyes make your character look like he is about to cry?

Music would have been nice, but overall I am very impressed with the character creation process. Good job, Bioware! I really liked the ME one, and they even outdid that! More color options ftw!

I'm really impressed with the character creator. It has functionality to it. Looking at the various avatar pics and people's uploaded characters is enough to see what kind of variety can be made with it. A goodly amount!

Of course, greedy as I am, I'd like more hair (entirely different kinds, not just some with braids and some without), and tattoo options.

I'll add another onto that pile.  The darkest I could get was a bright red.  I know they are different teams, but Mass Effect has the skin tones perfect.

Just a little tweaking is needed.

I like it. Allowed me to pretty much get what I was looking for from my character.<br />

I will agree that it's awfully dark and you can't really see eye color...I hope I got green.

This! Something written that could be as simple as lt. green, green, dk. green, grey, blue, brown etc etc etc... I know colour blind people would probably like this as well.

It would also be perfect for the deity associations with the tats.

I was hoping I would be able to make my dwarf commoner look fierce. It's easy to make pretty women but harder for me to make one that looks badass.

I loved the intro music... shame it disappeared.... really nice seeing one of the old DAO trailers in the start too...

I'm off either to make a human or elf mage next... probably human...

I thought the teeth were pretty bad. I didn't like any of the female voices, either ...... but all in all a pretty good character creator, which has preset faces that are much more attractive than those in NWN2. Man those were ugly! hehe

I need more mage like characteristics for example a long mysterious mustache and an ominous beard.

It's not that bad, personally, I find it a blast to use. I've already preordered the collector's edition, but I do have college to worry about, so I won't be playing the game until exams are done.
