So I was listening to some of the banter, and I came across this little exchange.

I don't remember seeing or fighting a Sylvan in any of the MotA content. I did see a lot of other trees though. Was it cut content? Did I just miss it? Anyone know anything about this?

Probably a case of them recording lines before the levels were finalized and they wanted to cover their bases.

Ha! Varric's comment sums up my mom's views on nature. In fact I'm pretty sure she used the "nature is bat**** crazy" defense on me once when I asked her to go camping...

But, back on topic... I'd say it was cut content, maybe?

They held off on the sylvans to include them in an upcoming Merrill-focused DLC.

That's what I tell myself, anyway.

I hope we'll see some new creatures and races. Especially ones that connect to the elves.

I personally want to see a new race: Centaurs. They were close friends to the elves of Arlathan, and most dwell in the forest of Arlathan. Any intruders that aren't of Elven blood are killed.

And now I'm thinking of Merrill riding on the back of a Centaur, and that Centaur is taking her to see.....

yes. As soon as Hawke and Merrill find the baby griffons, naked drunken Oghren rides his gorilla into battle and saves everyone from the Darkspawn.

Then, when all is said and done, Oghren gives Hawke his gorilla and Oghren runs off into the sunset. Naked.

Nah, it was just one tree and a lot of mirrors.

Perhaps a tree attacked the party because naked Oghren already ran through the forest (the Sylvans do not approve of such an affront to their majesty).

I must say that when I heard the banter, my first thought was that someone angered a tree by mistaking it for a privy (so to speak).

See, if I saw angry Sylvan's I'd expect to run into Velanna not Oghren.

I'd also much rather see her naked than him.

Oghren: No not that potion again! Fine I'll give you your clothes back!
Varric: I'm sensing a mildly amusing story here.
Oghren: hehehehehe looks like your friend wants to join in!
Hawke: Isabela put your clothes back on!
Isabela: No!
*Hawke turns around and sees Merrill naked*
Merrill: Oh? Was I not supposed to do that? I thought it was a game we were playing.
Hawke: Oh what the hell....
