If your Hawke's anti-qunari he'll still let Tallis run free.
If your Hawke's pro-mage/anti-templar he won't voice out against Meredith (or do anything) until Act III.
If your Hawke's pro-templar/anti-mage he won't deliver the crazy abomination or the blood mage to the templars.
Really the only way I can properly roleplay Hawke is if I have him as an apathetic lazy bastard who tells jokes.

I knew there was a reason I liked this game...that's exactly how I played him.
