I do want hawke to meet my warden but, it maybe not possible. I created something for myself instead:
Hawke leaves with her cousin the warden Amell to meet with Flemeth.

Hawke returns and follows in the footsteps of the warden. He has been asked by sister nightngale to search for the lost warden. This will give lots of lore and give half of our friends piece. Merril and Avaline, Anders Isabella. Then we meet Shale and we get to take our long walk in the wardens story. I think this would sell due to most of use wanting answers and lore and a build up to why the champion and the warden went missing. They could even add Tallis so she can look for stens party if he died in lothering or choose to leave the qun.

Following in the Warden's footsteps will most likely turn out pretty boring considering the blight is over.
The warden is most likely a drunken farmer somewhere in Ferelden (if he's alive at all). So, no thanks. I'd much rather travel the unknown than follow in the warden's footsteps.

Ferelden isn't boring simply because of the blight... I'm a substantial way through the development of a DAO mod exploring a different threat involving darkspawn and more set around the same time as Awakening...Dubya75 wrote...

There's still plenty of intrigue left in Ferelden, but for future Dragon Age games I imagine we'll be seeing different parts of Thedas.

Did I say Ferelden is boring? No I didn't! I'd love to visit Ferelden again.
What I did say is that I would not want to follow in the warden's footsteps.
Stop miss-quoting me please.

Because you said that following in the Warden's footsteps would be boring and you wanted unknown territory, it wasn't too much of a leap to infer that you had no desire to return to Ferelden for DA3.
Relax. Not everything on these boards is a personal attack or an attempt to make you say something you didn't intend. Here I was just thinking I could take the opportunity to say the Ferelden could be interesting and getting the word out about my mod in development. My sincere apologies if I besmirched your good name or your honour.

I would like to see a responce from the dev's on this idea.
Sounds fine. There are lots of ideas about DLC stories, and they all sound perfectly fine. There's a slight difference between what makes for a good story and what makes for a good game experience, but I'm sure any of these ideas could form the basis for DLC content in theory.

If we see Ferelden again I'd like to see a place that we weren't able to go to in Origins. Like Highever or Gwaren. You only get to see Highever castle in Origins and I've been curious.
Wouldn't going somewhere new in Ferelden defeat the point of a return to Ferelden? We might as well stay in the Free Marches.

Looks like we'll have to throw these in the oven then
Only kidding. Yeah it's a pretty pointless question, but tbh, the BSN is so observant with everything Bioware does that we will predict it sooner or later.
