Same with Jack, tell her she has a mother to give her a thread of something to live for. And just because her mother was never said to be involved with Cerberus, doesn't mean she may not have been.

The records are from the Shadow Broker. I very much doubt he'd keep false information.

So somebody or something who controls info would neeever manipulate it. Or could have been fed false information to be placated, hmm. Yes the shadow broker knew much but, not all his info was 100% reliable or divulged. He played the angles and obviously lost.

I really don't think they'd throw it in just for it to be false. What would be the point? It would be a complete waste of time.

classic misdirection, I would say the writers like have our minds blown. I give you KOTR, you are Revan. I'm not saying I'm right and not to go all Shyamalan or anything but it could be a nice twist.

I think that a sidequest for a softened jack will probably be finding her mother (most likely her grave, though) and family in ME3. That is what I would like, anyway. I figure her character, if loyal and Shep having followed paragon path w/her, is going to be much less angry in ME3.

We can only hope. That would be nice, good closure for her and given the backdrop of how much death will be going on and how many families will be affected will hopefully give her a new sense of purpose.

I think she'll be a bit more mellow, grow some hair, less meaningless sex, etc. She wont be "calm" or "sainly" by any means. But she'll stop crashing space stations into moons and pissing off Elcor.

I wouldn't mind Jack realizing she hasn't been the only child with such an abused past and finding herself drawn to helping kids in similar situations....helping to find them, break them out of whatever hell they are in and playing a role in their rehabilitation...Jack would have to grow up a lot first though....still keeping her tough as nails Jack flavor though...the hard love approach as such.

I like this idea, especially if you played through ME1 as a colonist and helped that one girl(who looked very similar to Jack. Coincidence?)

jack will go to omega to kill some mercs or w/e she wants to after the suicide mission... but omega is under the control of cerberus (info from mass effect comic invasion) then she joins to mercs and aria to kill cerberus operatives

I know this is a late response but seriously i'm just guessing here, I did not read the leaked script so I dont know what is to become of Jack in ME3. You saying I should put a spoiler tag on what I said just spoiled the game for me:mellow:.

i read some of the leak, but i didnt read anything about jack... and besides teaching at grissom academy would be a logical outcome since it could tie the game to the novels better, and give jack a little more room to grown as a human being.

I wanted Jack as Han Solo.

I understand that a more paragon Jack (sparing Aresh) will try to give the biotic chils thing that she could never have in Teltin.

But, how did she to be part of the Ascencion Project?

I mean, is overlooked by both civilian and military staff, how the hell they allowed a convict to teach childrens? The parents will retire their kids from the project if they discover that a teacher is an ex-convict.
