Bioware did quite a few of these in ME2 making fun of ME1. Some examples are:

-Elevator joke (with Miranda)

-Omnigel joke (Garrus)

-2nd elevator joke (Garrus on Tali's immune system)

There's probably a ton more that I can't think of off the top of my head. One's that I'm sure we'll get in ME3 are:

-Garrus's Calibrations

-Turian Councilor

-Hanar Spectre

What jokes do you guys think we'll see in ME3 in reference to the first two games?

But if you let him continue, he pulls up the file on his purchase and refunds the full amount -- and some interest for all his hassle.

No, I remember that one... part of the great dialogue in LOTSB.

... Later in the game: You are investigating a distress call on the planet Ontarom. You get to rescue the refund guy from the wreckage of his crashed ship and take him along. As the Kodiak leaves the planet, we see the camera sweeping back towards the surface where a shifty looking cow holds the refund guys credit chip (sorry chit) in its claw.

Win and loose I say.

That's Omni-gel joke in LotSB, not Medi-gel joke.

And I don't know where's that joke OP is talking about.


Also there is a Calibration joke in LotSB if you romanced Liara in ME1 and at least start romance with Garrus before LotSB in ME2.

I don't mind the occasional hint to previous games as long as they don't beat you over the head with the jokes like they do in DA2. In that game it all just felt contrived rather than natural.

For example, in Miranda's loyalty it was pretty cool how BIoware slipped in the cheesy elevator music, same for Overlord.
