Feynriel is  a dreamer mage that allows him to warp the fade to his liking he is able to  enter in leave the fade at will  even if you  kill him or get  possessed they can just do that anders trick  dragon age 2 companions all had unique specialization   being a dreamer is extremely rare so rare that demons  were

fighting over him  like i said before he can enter in leave the fade in use it as a telepotation   kinda like what that blood mage did in awakening  she left the fade in had a body be like anders/justice

came to real world without a body also he be a tevinter mage in due to his power  might be a magister  sence he shapes the fade  his power is like. similar to reality warping like making it happen in the real

world he protected  his mom from being attack with his power also they talk in dreams  i see being a dreamer being his specialization the dreamer  i see  potential

His character is too open, he might either be in Tevinter, a tranquil or a abomination.

I doubt they will retcon the fate of a companion again. Anders and Leliana made enough of a ****storm. I can definitly see him playing a role somewhere, but a companion with such an open story just won't work.

Anders is willingly posessed, if Feynriel is posessed by Torpor it's against his will, no companion there.

The creators did ressurect Oghren in Awakening if he was killed, and followed that up with Anders, Justice, and Leliana in Dragon Age 2 if one or all three were deceased, so it's not out of the realm of possibility, regardless of Feynriel's actual fate. It's not as though Anders not being recruited and Justice getting killed at the Dragonbone Wastes was ever explained by Anders in Dragon Age 2, for instance.

While I liked Feynriel (especially the fact that Tevinter Feynriel protects an innocent woman from getting raped with his Tevinter discipline as a mage), I'd like to think Feynriel could institute some degree of change in the Imperium, since he is a powerful Dreamer (and was raised by a Dalish elf).

I could definately see him being mentioned in DA3 or playing a small role, but I don't see him being a compaanion. There were too many options for what could happen to him.

yeah theres also been to many options for other people like being dead on being taken over by a demon dont mean you cant be save in da 1 we save a kid from a demon remember in death da ha

i laugh at it everybody comes . back like flemeth in leliana who has no magic or they can bring back

say here he is i see him being the companion you need in tevinter in who helps in quest just cause there to many scenarios with him out magic dont count him out

No, it didn't.

Leliana, Oghren, Anders, Wynne and whathaveyou are all excused by "Oh hai, sorry not dead anyway."

Feynriel doesn't die, he meets three different fates, i just don't see bioware turn on that too.

why not leliana had different things too like dying traveling the world or stayying with warden and anders in wynne are mages they can just hey he is back they can change how he look he get the

isabella treatment she went okay to wow the power in fact everyone looks different then the first game or act different example isabela . zevran. alistar he next on magical surgery it can be good or bad point is nothing canon mages teleport now

Well, aside that the there are new graphics in the game i assume that they rightfully thought that Merrill and Isabela needed a makeover if they should become permanent squaddies. Al and Zev i agree on, sloppy work, Ban Tegan and Isolde too for that matter.

Feynriel is also one of the very few times Hawke actually has any decitions that matter, i doubt bioware will take that away.

you think they want take it away trust me they if it fits there story gets them people to buy da3 i mean who would not want a mage from tevinter they probably got magics never seen before yet it was

said mages can only walk now they teleport bioware change the rules alot all im saying he has a good chance of being a companion,

A dreamer sounds like it's a pretty wicked type of mage, i doubt bioware would team him up with whatever protagonist we get just for him to overpower our character.

I don't see the Feynriel thing, and honestly i don't want it either, reusing old characters is good enough, but i would only see Feynriel as a NPC non-compaion factor in any sequels.

its possible he be a companion i mean come on over powered some companions now are better varric best archer morrigan was deadly mage that could shapeshift into almost anything leliana is a deadly bard that control people ,through singing anders was a powerful healer able to bring self

back from dead merill has a earth spell that allows her to teleport in she control plants all companions are powerful in morrigan probably did not reveal her true power all warden companions were warden level or higher they were not average at all it can happen

they can change the way he looks like they did with isabela leliana zevran as for tranquil they can say the maker gave him is power back hey they use the maker for leliana lol or they dont give a reason at all
