Excatly, the nice thing about the way they are implementing multi-player is that if you don't want to, you don't have to. But some people just have to whine and complain, stating they won't do this or that because of some slight (troll sniping anyone?).
Personally, I'm surprised I like ME and DA. I absolutely HATE the 3rd person perspective, and I'm not a big fan of RPGs, at least on a computer. But I fell in love with both, which means BioWare knows how to do it right in my opinion.
Now if you could toggle the perspective, hmmm....
As far as multi-playergoes, I'm not a big fan of online deathmatch play, but I do really love co-op play, especially when you have voice comms with your friends. Make hardcore nightmare difficulty that much more fun.
As far as BW staying independent, any SWTOR fans in here. I'm willing to bet they've been developing it for several (maybe as much as 6-7) years. And that takes huge piles of money. They probably needed the injection to keep going. So give them a break. They are obviously still turning out quality products that conform to their high standard for story lines, playability, etc... so some small sacrifices, like more platforms, and wider audience appeal, which they seem to be doing with great success (ME2 merging shooter and RPG, DA2 merging action and RPG).
So I am thinking them in the the best way I can, by pre-ordering ME3 and SWTOR.
Thank You BioWare, and game on!
