I wish they would release it on my birthday but that wouldn't be a part of their plans since that would be too early.Hepatitis Q wrote...
Bioware, can you make the demo release date on my birthday (January 17th) PRETTY PUH WEAZE?

I think you only need the online pass code that came with the game. If you used the code than you get early access.BiggumsKlown wrote...

I can't believe we still haven't heard anything about it and the end of the first full week of december is just about over. I do agree with the idea of releasing a demo on christmas eve or christmas day. I hope it would be accessable based on the profile not the platform. I got ME3 N7 for PC, but I am going home for christmas so I won't have access to a powerful enough PC, but I will have access to an XBox 360. anyways I am just really worried that they are running into a lot of issues and worried about it. BioWare, we know it is a demo being released well over 3 months before the game, if there is something we don't like we can tell you and you can fix it. if you keep postponing the release of the demo there won't be anytime for us to help you, you would have to make it a mandatory update or something like that weeks after release, or the day of release. please help us help you make this game worthy of "awe" for years to come, till you release another great Mass Effect game of course ^.^
No one said anything about the demo being delayed, just the announcement.

Any die-hard Mass Effect fans think the demo is worth playing? Its tempting, but wouldnt it be better to wait for the full experience when the game comes out?
Thats the exact debate I've been having with myself. I can hardly wait to play it, yet I want the excitement of discovery. However, I think Bioware knows this about their fans. I doubt they would demo anything that would give away any of the story or plot.
I AM looking forward to the multiplayer demo. I welcome any increase in ways to play ME!

Just play the intro part if you're concerned. That way you can test out some gameplay changes without seeing any later stages although I'd bet the second part of the demo will be the sur'kesh mission they've shown since E3.[/quote]
Agreed, I've been thinking about it and I think I'll give it a go, but only after some ppl on the forums have played it. The only concern I have is if they put out some things in the demo that COULD impact our beloved Single-Player experience. They probably wont, but you know how some developers put stuff in a demo even though you wont experience that until much later in the game? Thats what I mean, for example what if they show us the "Banshee" enemy(asari husk) in the demo when in the full game its supposed to be a freaky, tense, adrenaline-filled moment. Wont have the same affect if we already faced it. =P
Otherwise though, I cant wait!

That's true. I certainly hope they don't do something like that. However, I expect I'll play the demo regardless of what's in it. I'm so excited I don't think I'll be able to resist. Call me what you will. I can't help it. lol

How do we the early access demo without buying BF3?
BF3 key only relates to multiplayer portion, and they have said there will be other ways. Single player is an exe file download whenever they relaese it.

Everybody can download the demo. The real question is "When will it come out?" All we know for certain at this point is January.

I think it will feel different. You may have a different squad avaliable or descions you've made made have a impact that will make it feel different. Plus when your really emersed in the game you probably won't feel like a mission or moment feels uneventful.
