Gotta admit I didn't think people got so hyped (or up in arms) regarding a demo of any sort. I'm very excited about ME3, but I have no issue waiting until January. No biggie here.

I pre-purchased the ME3 N7 edition four months ago, I think that that should qualify me for the early, early Demo, AkA the Beta test.:innocent:

In all honesty I won't even play the demo when it comes out next year.. I hate spoling games before release and prefer to just play an untainted version when the whole game comes out.

That is, assuming I ever touch the multiplayer I mean... not my cup of tea really, but I certainly support it for those who like / want it.

Wow, the way some people are acting, you'd think they'd just announced that you won't ever be able to play the co-op, not even in the final game, unless you buy BF3. And that they'd never, ever run into a case of one game granting early access to an entirely different one's MP.

So if you pre-order ME3 you get nothing, but buy a totally different game and you get early access to the multiplayer demo. Sure makes a lot of sense to me! :/

I'd wager that ME3 preorders will get it too, we just have to wait for the announcement.

Will be PC players forced to install Origin application?

We've been waiting for an oficial statement for a long time

I'd bet on that. EA is trying to force Origin down our throats.

Meh. I don't do demos for games I'll probably gonna buy anyway.

But I gotta say it's amusing how EA is trying to rail more people into getting Battlefield 3 just for the promise of some extra time on a demo. But I'm sure the sheeps of Bioware will fall right in line.

As for those who want access due to preordering ME3... uh, how do you prove you have a game preordered anyway? Sounds like a lot of work for the retailers to have to call up EA and ask about whether these and those people have preordered or not o_O

You've seriously never seen this sort of thing done ever before?  It's a pretty common promotional technique.

I have to admit, this is a smart idea they've come with, by granting people who buy a new copy of Battlefield 3 shooter fans who dont bother with games like Mass effect will feel inclined to play the ME3 demo as they've got exclusive access to the multiplayer, attracting a new auidence, and EA gets more copies of Battlefield 3 sold due to some people who just want early access of the demo.

I'll wait to see what other ways we can get it, if there's no way I can get something I'll be content with the singleplayer demo, that is the real reason I'm getting ME3.

Well looks like I won't be playing the demo I didn't want battlefield and as much as I like Mass Effect I'm not going to buy a game I don't want for a demo.

Hmm, I wonder if we'll be able to import our saves... Could you do that with the ME2 demo?
