If you are a soldier how many weapons can you carry and what types?

I believe it goes 2-2-2-3-3-4

2-2-2-3-3-4?

soldier can carry pistol, shotgun, assault rifle, sniper, heavy weapon ( missile launcher). Which is 5 weapons not 4

Yeah, but EVERY class carries "heavy weapons."

So, in that case:

3-3-3-4-4-5

PLUS: I don't think you can swap out your heavy weapon slot for, say, a pistol. Why you would WANT to, I dunno, but there it is.

Everyone's gonna be carrying heavy weapons all the time anyway, so I don't think it even counts as a weapon "type."

Where did they say you can carry any number of guns?

I thought it was you can carry any guns, but only so many.

EDIT: From the wikia:

Mass Effect 3 makes several changes to the way weapons worked in Mass Effect 2, these include:[14]
  • The ability for all classes to wield any type of weapon. However, classes will be limited by the number of weapons they can carry at any one time, with the Soldier being the only class that can wield every weapon class at once.

Every class can use up to 5 weapons, but only the Soldier can do so without penalties [146], this applies especially to special weapons (Revenant, Claymore, Widow) [147] .

They're letting it build up a little longer. Letting the tension build.

In all honesty, I'm done waiting. Just pissed off now. Lol.

They can't "Just release it" Microsoft and Sony have to authorize it and have it out when they update their marketplaces which is usually Wednesdays or Tuesdays IIRC and I doubt they'd release it on Pc earlier
