 I'm guessing 1/17/12, since that's when the Kingdoms of Amalur beta drops.

Mostly I'm grabbing for straws, but with the beta tie in between Kingdoms of Amalur and Mass Effect 3 (Armor and weapons for each if you play/beat the other's beta).

If you beat the Kingdoms of Amalur beta you get for Mass Effect 3;

Reckoner Knight Armor
Chakram Launcher

If you buy KoA, your EA Online Pass gets you for KoA

Shepard's Battle Armor

If you beat the ME3 beta you get for KoA;

I have the growing suspicion that the demo will be available about a month before the release of the game, much like the KoA case. And I dont think that they will release any news before the KoA cross thingy because that would 'steal' the spotlight so to speak.
Pure speculation though

Demo=/=beta. A beta is an early build of a game. A demo is most always the final build with some bugs

I don't think I agree. With the KoA crossover it pretty much has to be out before KoA. People will just want to get their goodies for it before the retail copy hits. That means before 2.7.

Now, unless they're going to just pop in on Monday 1.16 and say. "Look out tomorrow"  (And they're probably not going to) that really only leaves the 24th as the last full week in January.

So that's where my money is.

Microsoft is known for releasing updates to marketplaces on Tuesdays and Thursdays. So basically we got 4 days till the KoA releases. That means upcoming Tuesday and Thursday and the last week of Jan is a possibility.

I dont know about PSN but All I do know is that all demo/beta will be released simultaneously.

And Im sure its ready to go by now but Microsoft and Sony have to approve the demo/ beta before releasing. But as seeing Im part of the Microsoft Connect Dashboard Beta, The demo/beta was leaked accidentally, Id say Microsoft approved the demo/beta. Now its either up to Sony or they did approve it then its all in Biowares hands.

24th makes sense to me. They aren't going to release both demos on the same day because they actually want people to play them. Give people a week to play the KoA demo before putting the ME3 demo out.

I want the demo soon... Mostly because I'm going back to Canada and won't have a computer/xbox for quite some time yet I still ordered the CE and all I'm going to do is stare at it and worship it until I'm finally able to get an Xbox again. DX

If they don't i want 60 dollars from EA. I bought Battlefield 3 just for the Early Access Beta.. Not for battlefield 3..

Logic says it has to be the 24th simply because of the whole "early access" thing for MP. If not the 24th then it's the 31st.

As far as I know, as a soldier  you can carry 4 weapons total and a heavy weapon. This means you can carry a pistol, shotgun, sniper and assault rifle at the same time. but can remove one to add a SMG.
