So, because you want the demo so badly, you won't buy the actual game. Makes sense.

this is becoming to sound like the most anticipated demo of the year, a lot of stuff going on; people in nerd rage, guys canceling preorders, there was someone who was playing wow for annoyance. cant they just give us a date? i aint gonna cry if they released the demo a day before the actual game release at last people will stop going berserk on forums - but probably thats what they want -_-'

Idiot.

More politely; I doubt anybody really cares if you cancel your preorder because you couldn't get the demo in january, mainly because you're acting like a spoiled child throwing a tantrum rather than trying to illustrate a point. Your mother presumably stopped listening to you when you stamped your feet and demanded sweets when you were 5, why on Earth would EA care if you (and just you, as in singular you, and not you as in a representative of a number of people) canceled your pre-order?

I'm eagerly awaiting ME3 (and it's demo) as well, but I'm not under some delusion of thinking that it's somehow owed to us right now

Lol the only one who loses here, is him.

EBgames gets 10$, and Bioware gets to sell their game to him at a later date, and make him pay for the DLC eventually that comes for free in a pre-order...

Solid Strategy, GamerrangerX, very solid indeed...

Yeah. And anyway, it's not like he's punishing Bioware, they already got their money selling the game to EBgames. They don't really care if it gets sold again.

*sigh* Idiot.

I'm not angry or annoyed that the demo hasn't come out yet. It is more the lack of information that concerns me.
I just want an estimated release date for the Demo or atlest some information.

i'm happy not to play the demo, Bioware is gonna spend so much time on the demo now trying to make it great that they are just gonna upset some people.

Yeah, that's pretty much my thoughts as well. It's the anticipation that's killing me more than anything else.

That was me ^_^

I've gone back to Transformers:War for Cybertron online now.

Also, for every one person who cancels thier pre order because "I can haz no demo naow???????? QQ" there will be hundreds, if not thousands more that will wait and still buy it.

That's right!
I've pre-ordered it and I will wait. As I've said before, it is the lack of information that concerns me. Not that the demo is out or anything. Give me a bad demo, I say. Because I don't care. The demo is made to let people test play the game.
For example, maybe they will follow the popularity of CoD games and make large texts. Like;
"Follow Anderson"
When it is obvious that you should follow Anderson. Some new gamers might find this helpfull. But for me it would be insulting. So if that happens in the demo, I can just tell BioWare; That the obvious texts doesn't work for all players and that you atleast could have an on/off setting for it.
As an EXAMPLE, just to clarify.
(Sorry for bad spelling or grammatic, I'm not a native english speaker.)

I always seem to find this statement funny, because frequently (albeit not all the time) when someone says that, their actual usage of the English language makes more sense (and is more 'correct') than an actual native English user (i.e., Nexus, I think your English is more than awesome and passable).

Also; War for Cybertron is awesome, but the multiplayer for it was so... limited. I wanted to make my own Transformer as opposed to just choosing a skin etc. To say that I'm looking forward to Fall of Cybertron is a massive understatement.

Still doesn't make sense.
I get the theory, but practically, this way you dump ten bucks. Not a big deal of money, but still, in this case you'd pay for nothing.

No, I am afraid you don't understand. If you cancel your pre-order, EB Games keeps your $10, then they sell that copy to someone else. they don't cancel the order just because you no longer want it. They take the pre-orders, order enough to fill them, then they order extras so they have some to sell Day One to walk in pre-orders So EB Games keeps your $10, probably gets someone else's $10, then they sell the game for the rest that's owed--either $50 for SE or $60 for CE. either way, you lose out, because you cancelled your order and will likely end up buying it later anyway. BioWare doesn't give a crap if you cancel it. They have gamers worldwide (including myself) that will buy it. I Pre-ordered my copy the day the CE was announced. )

I'm a big believer on just doing and not telling. It's your money, so you can do as you want. But if you are gonna cancel -- then just ****ing cancel. You sound like a damn baby complaining, just be done with it.

Don't say stupid **** and you'll get nicer remarks.

Well said Stephanie. This kid reminds me of when i babysat for my 2nd cousin. She really wanted ice cream, but she wasn't behaving, and her mother had already said no. I told her 'no' and she preceeded to shatter the space time continuim with her screams of anger.

No, but she DID scream really loudly "I WANT IT NOW!!!!" and preceeded to hit me with a inflatable baseball bat. No joke. I just took it from her, and hid it out of her reach. Didn't hurt when she hit me but still. Talk about bratty.

It's been the 'end times' for well over two millenia now, I'm not very concerned that I won't get my play-through in under the wire.
