I wonder what they would do if a **** ton of users mass twitted "It's my demo and I want it now" at each member with a twitter.
Then they would have a lot of tweets? Probally wouldn't give a care for the world.

Yeah, that's pretty much my thoughts as well. It's the anticipation that's killing me more than anything else.
The multiplayer would have most of the species. Human, Salarian, Asari, Turian and Krogan. It's not sure if Quarian will be in it yet.(I'm taking the facts from the internet and screenshots. So I might be really wrong here.)
The classes are race specific. Vanguard and Adept will likely be to Asari. And Tech and Infiltrator will likely be to Salarian. So if you want to play an adept, don't choose to be Salarian and vice-versa.
But I'm not sure, there is no solid facts I'm counting just assumptions based on pieces of fact.
The places could be several bases and all that. Maybe Earth Slums that was shown in the Squad Leader trailer.

I believe that Soldier and Sentinel can be Turian and Krogan, Infiltrator and Engineer can be Salarian and Quarian, and Vanguard and Adept can be Asari and Drell

Are you sure about the race/class limits? I'm going to be a little annoyed of I can't play a proper asari commando. i also agree that my only real complaint is no info, and the chance that they won't tell us anything for a while is becoming more annoying every day.

Does it surprise you that people are getting impatient? Truth be told, I'm not surprised... at all. After what BioWare pulled before Christmas break - sure as hell people would like to get something that was announced, when? Months ago? Or at least some info regarding it. Would be nice if BioWare was at least a bit more responsive to their fans. Maybe it is all marketing as some say, hell if I know. But the way BioWare's been torturing their fans with announcements and then a complete lack of news for months now is on the verge of being marginal, not to mention ridiculous.Jonathan2shiver wrote...
Well yes, we should, but, we shouldn't badger BioWare for the release date of the demo, it'll come when it's ready, the demo is unimportant anyways, if they don't release it, fine, it's just more for you to play in the actual game.
The problem is not that the demo is a long time in coming, but that it is a long time in coming considering the given circumstances - which are: Fans have been waiting for it (and news) for more than a goddamn month. Of course people are impatient. And imo, they have good reasons to be.
This board lacks common sense? How is that? - Because people are getting impatient and - imo, their impatience for the demo and news is justified considering BioWare's screwed info policy?StephanieBengal wrote...

Still. It isn't a matter of life and death, its a game on a disk and it isn't like you're NOt going to get it. In fact this next week looks to be pretty info heavy, just chill.

Of course it's not, but time and again, it does baffle me that some seem rather unwilling to see it from the fans' point of view. Loyal fans that have been waiting not only for the demo, but also the tiniest news shreds for quite a while, I might add.Exia001 wrote...

Like I said, the problem is not that we won't be getting the demo, but rather the long timespan that fans have already been waiting. And yet, some people are wondering why fans go on the barricades?
And don't worry - I'm totally chilled and tbh, I couldn't care less when and if the demo comes out at all, since I'll play the game, anyway and it won't be that long till it comes out. Sure it would be nice to get a taste of a greatly anticipated game, but I won't die if I don't play it. It's just odd that some people seem so reluctant to accept or tolerate that there are people who do care.<_<

Welcome to the greedy money grabbing corporate machine that is EA.
I sympathize with anybody else who is not happy about the recent lack of info about ME3, I'm certainly not.
Also certainly not surprised this is what we're getting, as EA has a track record of treating fans/customers of their blockbuster titles pretty poorly, although you never know how much of it is EA and how much is the developers under them. I'd wager it has something to do with EA, however, since up until recently with SWTOR and ME3, I've always respected Bioware as a game dev. Recently their actions surrounding those two games has me a bit worried, though.

The game was already delayed from xmas to March and with Bioware being tight-lipped on everything I cant blame fans for being impatient.
I'm starting to feel the annoyance to be honest.

no one should CARE that theres been no announcement the only way anyone should care is if Bioware said that they are pulling ME3, we'll get everything eventually, stop being moaning little ****es.

Hello everyone! It's going to be a Happy New Year! Mass Effect 3 will have a pre-release demo in January 2012. This demo will have both single player and multiplayer sections, giving fans a taste of what's to come on March 6, 2012. Be first to the front lines in the multiplayer section of the Mass Effect 3 demo! Redemption of the Online Pass for Battlefield 3 will unlock this early access. But rallying for war is just getting started - in late November / early December, BioWare will announce other ways for fans to engage the enemy with their friends online from day one!
What are the details of the Mass Effect 3 pre-release demo?
•The Mass Effect 3 pre-release demo will launch in January 2012 (exact date TBA).
•The demo will include both single-player and multi-player sections.
•The demo will be released in all regions where the game is
How can I get early access to the multi-player portion of the Mass Effect 3 demo coming in January 2012?
•Owners of Battlefield 3, on any platform, who activate their Online Pass will automatically be granted early access to the multiplayer portion of the Mass Effect 3 demo. There is no need to enter any other codes, the early access will be applied to the EA Account associated with the Online Pass. Note: BF3 Origin Customers automatically have the BF3 Online Pass.
•This applies to all regions where the demo is released (to be announced)
•The exact date of the demo launch will be announced in late November
•There will be another program whereby players and fans of the Mass Effect franchise can unlock this early access (with no purchase necessary) – this will also be announced in late November or early December.
•There will also be a tool posted on www.masseffect.com allowing players to check if their EA account has been granted the early access.
•The length of the early access period is TBA.
•The single-player section of the demo will be available to all players on day one of the demo launch.
Here's additional clarification from Mass Effect product manager Jarrett Lee.
I should go.
Jessica
This says the exact date of the demo launch will be announced in November. It's currently January. Last I heard for an "exact date" was "January 2012". It's January 15th now... So... When is this thing coming out? Or is it currently cancelled? I at least expected an "announce date" once January rolled around. You know, so I could set aside some time to play the demo...
Look, I've been patiently waiting since you announced there WOULD be a demo. Now you can't even be bothered to give an exact date of demo launch because of your production teams incompetance?
Honestly, there are two reasons I'd like to play the demo, none of them because of "excitement" for the game. Don't get me wrong, I love Mass Effect. I enjoy Mass Effect 2 less than 1 (at least in terms of missions and gameplay). But seeing as "Multiplayer" was announced for the third installment I've been thinking that someone yanked some strings to try toget it "mainstream" via a multiplayer component that will undoubtably suck, instead of running commercials on television. While we're at it, your marketing department has no clue what they're doing. Marketing majors in college should be required to take sociology and psychology courses, because none of them know what they're doing in terms of advertising or hype building.
ANYWAY! My two reasons are as follows:
I want to see if all the stupid text is still "HD" like in Mass Effect 2. I'm sorry, but not being able to read my text on a Standard Definition television is outright idiotic. Games like Halo manage to make everything viewable and readable on ANY definition television screen and keep the same release times as other developers (usually once every three years). So there is no excuse for "can only read text on HD" unless you're being a jerk as a developer. Not everyone has HDTV and some of us don't see a reason to ditch perfectly good working Standard Definition televisions in favor of High Definition Televisions which improve picture quality marginally while costing five times as much. It's also, "why buy something you already own?". If it is still in "HD Format" for text and the like, I may consider simply cancelling my preordered Collector's Edition of Mass Effect 3 and waiting to read a full synopsis on the wiki. That, or demanding EA/Bioware send me a HDTV to play their game. I'm in favor of the latter, but the former saves me $80.
The other reason is... I want to know if multiplayer is what I think it will be. I am sure it will be terrible. However, if it blows me away and is amazing, I'll sing its praises. Horde Mode has been done to death in lots of games. Call of Duty, Halo, Gears of War, etcetera ad nauseum. Adding a Horde Mode to Mass Effect seems rather silly to me. If you're going to "steal" an idea, you should at least steal something that hasn't been done to death, and can be improved upon. Just sayin'... You know... 6+ years of "Horde Mode" gets kind of old. But, maybe I'm wrong. Maybe it'll be absolutely amazing and a welcome addition to the game. Maybe it'll keep me playing it long after I've snagged the last achievement and gotten the best ending or endings for all my characters.
I'm sorry, this is incredibly long and rant-filled. It's just irritating some of the stuff EA/Bioware has done recently with their decisions is so insanely stupid. I'm sure they're scrambling to make things work, yeah. But in all honesty... If I were running the business, people would be getting pay cuts or firings for their complete mismanagement of resources and customer service/support.
