If I'm reading this right...if I just want to do the singleplayer and not multiplayer for the Beta, then I don't have to buy BF3? I just need to wait until January and I can play single player without a special code? The code is only for MP?

I agree with everyone else, I think if you buy the collector's edition, then that should give you early access.

Relax guys, the beta/demo is a way for EA to get more players to try out mass effect. If you don't get in the beta, then you don't get in... who cares, just wait until the game releases lol

Early access for people who can't be bothered with BF3, will most likely be achieved by something completely retarded with Facebook/Twitter involved. You can smell it a mile away. It's obviously not good enough that we already purchased ME2 and that awful game called DAII.

In the MP demo, is each race class specific (i.e. Salarian = engineer, Asari = biotic, Turian = infiltrator, etc) or can any race be any class.

I pre-purchased the ME3 N7 edition four months ago, I think that that should qualify me for the early, early Demo, AkA the Beta test.

Just my two cents, that are worth far less than two cents to everyone but me, but I find it kind of silly that the general attitude here is to hate on Bioware for offering a demo of ME3 for buying BF3.

On a side note, I find it completely hilarious that the past 5 games I've purchased for myself totaling about $400, aren't even out yet, (BF3, MW3, ME3-CE, TOR-DD, Skyrim). So that's $400 that isn't in my bank account anymore spent on, something that I don't even have my grubby little mits on.
