Like I said: I know Jessica originally announced that it was to be released in January. For whatever reason, BioWare changed their mind. They broke their promise. It was delayed. It's now slated to be released on the 14th of this month. I don't know what else to tell you.

No problem. It's alright. I just repeated myself because you did in fact not say "originially annouced but changed" you just said my claim was wrong and then made your own. Which is why I repeated myself, hehe.

Alright no, I didn't say it, but regardless of what I did or didn't say, I had already linked to Chris' post about it. It has the most recent information, even if it conflicts with what Jessica posted three months ago.

Eh either way, does it even really matter at this point? The demo comes out in 13 days; it's not that far away anymore. By that time, we'll all be enjoying it so much we won't even remember the delay.

can you guys STFU arguing? sheesh i love ME and BF its a bloody month wait, the reason why is proberly the sales of BF3 would be so many that it would crash the servers (remember the Halo Reach Beta? first day of the beta the servers overloaded and screwed up aload of ppls games) basically, just wait, im pretty sure they got a surprise for us

Since the servers crashing for the Beta is a more than slight possibility, I think I shall play the SP version first.

And the same for when the full game comes out.  SP first, then the MP.

No. It's being released on the 14th, and the MP section will be unlocked if you have early access from buying BF3.

it should be released a week early for bf3 owners like epic did for people who bought bullet storm they got gears of war 3 beta a week early and everyone else gets it next week seems fair

The BF3 thing means you get access to the MP part when it releases, rather than a few days later.  Other ways of getting in on that sweet multiplayer goodness are being announced tomorrow.

Downloading it will most likely happen through Origin, XBL, or PSN.

Why do I keep hearing "bf3 owners?" Isn't it the people that activated their bf3 online pass? That's what allowed them to play the bf3 multiplayer, and I'm assuming the pass activated the early access to the me3 mp demo as a side bonus.

But why BF3? Their is very limited overlap between the two audiences. It should be those who registered their copy of ME2 within the first 2 weeks of release getting early access, not some FPS-buyers who's only link to Mass Effect is the publisher...

I pre-purchased the ME3 N7 edition four months ago, I think that that should qualify me for the early, early Demo, AkA the Beta test.:innocent:

I got that same idea with Star Wars: The Old Republic where if I pre-order I would get to play on the beta... But it seems that you would have to get Battlefield 3 in order to get access on the Mass Effect 3 Beta.

This beta coming out is trying to get new people into the game, not you.  So too bad.

I fyou've every played an online match in BF3, with a new copy, you are qualified for early access MP on the 14th, which means that you get to play MP  3 days before others who do not have early access.

Lol "Early access..." still waiting to play Multiplier, check the forum, find out I only get three days of "EARLY ACCESS" I would rather protest and wait till everyone gets to play. Why did I buy BF3? Oh yea, cause it was fun as ****.
