I popped in Mass2 the other day to start a campaign on insane, to get back into the universe for the upcoming game, only to find one of my charaters was not listed. I had two main characters I was using, both from Mass1 (one Renegeade, one Paragon). My renegade character is gone! I can see the saves when I go searching through the drive through the Xbox dashboard. PLEASE HELP!

The question I would have to ask you in order to narrow down the possibilities is where are they not listed?
The importer only lists completed games from Mass Effect; not partially played games.
If you have completed Mass Effect twice, then there should be two different characters available to select in the importer. If one of those completed games is missing then I suggest you reload the 'missing' game and fight Saren in the final battle again to (re)create the hidden autosave which is used for the import.
