Gibb, if you're still wondering, yes post-coronation save will be fine, it has all the info

Is post-coronation the same as post-game or whatever?

I guess my question would be... can I go to the world map, unequip my
party members with whatever I wanted to transfer to awakening, transfer to golem, and then
transfer to witch hunt without the game being all wonky on me?

Dragonage.Wikia seems to warn against this and says just use the auto-save, or something... I'm so confused as to how exactly to go about transfering without Morrigan saying I betrayed her if I chose not to. Some people say it has to do with the way the game gives you the Sacrifice achievement when you load a post-epilogue save and somehow it assumes you Sacrificed yourself instead of doing the ritual. Maybe it's just a seperate glitch on consoles? Not sure. :-/

Any info is appreciated. I really only want to play the game once, lol.

If you're having trouble getting equipment from the team you left at the gate, try unequiping as many people as you can after beating the darkspawn at the gate, then sell everything that won't make it to Awakening, and when the archdemon is making it's death scream, remove everything from your party.

Yeah, I just finished the game and now I'm confused on how to start awakening... there's so much mixed information out there, which is annoying.

I need to use the Epilogue Auto-Save to go to the "green grassy field" so I can unequip/re-equip my party members, right? Doesn't that mean it doesn't care about any of my Post-Coronation decisions? That doesn't make sense. I hear there's a "Post-Campaign" save or something, but hell if I'm getting that on the consoles, I even let the credits run the whole way through!

Also, if I do use a "Party Camp" type save instead of the Epilogue Auto-Save or the Post-Coronation save, does Witch Hunt still bug out on the Dark Ritual flags or is that actually fixed now? Once again, mixed reviews.

I'd like to finish the game without having to sit around and juggle inventory and be carrying around like 110+ items on me while I fight the arch demon. :3

It blows my mind how there are conflicting answers on the wikia even. It's like nobody has ever risked/tested it...

In my opinion, you have 3 saves to use:

- Post-Coronation Manual Save after speaking with everyone.
- Autosave after killing Archdemon
- Manual Load from Autosave made after killing Archdemon after you've played some DLC or removed some peoples equipments, etc.

Which one carries over EVERYTHING? Including my decisions from Post-Coronation, or do Post-Coronation decisions even matter at all in ANY of the Dragon Age games, including DA2?
