Hi all,

I managed to get past a loading screen that would always throw me out of the game with an "unable to load area" message. I Finally got past this issue by going into the Dragon Age 2 Configure tool and dropping all graphics settings to there lowest or off where possible. I then went to audio and disabled all sounds. Re-ran the game and hey presto got through the loading screen straight-away.

I am posting this in the hopes it might be of use to someone else.
