I wouldn't live on a planet. I'd spend most of my time on my ship traveling the galaxy, ideally as a freighter captain/occasional smuggler. Basically a Mass Effect version of Han Solo/Malcolm Reynolds.

My first thought was the Citadel, but I think not having a planet under my feet would be taxing after awhile.

So ... I'm not sure, Earth looks neat and Thessia sounds nice too. Definitely not a remote colony, though, we all know what happens to them!

I'd go with being human on a tropical planet a la Virmire (since I live in Hawaii, a tropical planet with nice beaches would be ideal).

I'd definitely stick to being a spacer. Plenty of breathtaking locations in the Mass Effect universe but none so compelling as the stars themselves.
